I was overcharged. When I retrieve the vehicle, it contained 1/4 tank of gas. When I returned it, there was more than what I started with. I called the location to note the issue and was blown off. The customer service is HORRIFIC! When I picked up the truck my card was swiped for $140 due to the mileage I submitted. It turns out that I did less mileage and I was sent a receipt via email that the amount was $80+ dollars. When I called the office about my money being refunded, the gentlemen, Leroy, that was working there couldn't answer my question and couldn't connect me to his Supervisor. I had to contact another Uhaul store to get Premier Motorsports manager's number. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!DUANE N.

Location wise nothing. Person who helped me was friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. My only complaint was the system forced me to have a 3 day rental for a 1 way trip and I only needed one day. So more expensive than it should have been.MICHAEL A.

The truck I made a reservation for was not returned on time so I had to rent a larger one. I was super nervous but the employees were very helpful in making me comfortable with driving it (even making sure the mirrors were set properly) and let me rent it for the price of the smaller one. The employee that completed my transaction went above and beyond in making sure that we were taken care of.ELIZABETH D.

The man who checked me out was very unfriendly. I told him I wanted to drop the trailer off In Mt. Airy. He asked me if I wanted to to drop it off at the Pine Street location. I said, "Yes sir. West Pine Street Mt. Airy. As it turns out, he set me up and was dishonest by making it an in-town rental. Because of this, I was charged a double rate as a penalty for wrong drop off location. Tank was at 1/4 when I picked up and told I had to have it back to the recommended amount. Put in 75 dollars worth of gas and it only got it a little above half. No one was at the location when I first arrived and they had about 1/4 of the equipment I ordered. Would not recommend this location to anyone.PRESTON L.

With infection control being a vital topic these days, there's no space for more than one customer to enter the rental office. As long as the weather is okay, it's not a big problem. At least provide a seat outside for the next person in line. The gentleman who helped us at pick-up was AWESOME. I don't recall his name, but if it helps identify him, he was in the military and has been married 40+ years. What a friendly personality and engaging way with customers. Better customer service. No pin in trailer had to buy one. Box truck wasn't available and to find another box truck. 50$ credit wasn't enough to cover my time and frustration for inconveniences. Call center was a joke trying to secure another truck. Put us behind in moving times.LAURALYNETTE C.

Had a reservation to pick up the truck at 1:30pm and no one was there nor was there a box to pick up the keys. An employee happen to come to lot and asked if he could help and I let him know we had a reservation at 1:30pm. He said they closed at 1pm. NO ONE TOLD US. The owner said he could meet us in 30 minutes and he did. He informed us that the worker was supposed to be there until 3pm. Not professional. Thanks to the owner for coming out.GLORIA O.

We reserved a 26' truck. When we got there, there wasn't one available. We took a 20' truck instead. There was no concession for the inconvenience. We had to make arrangements because all of the furniture would not fit on the truck. I would have thought there would be a credit applied.SUSAN F.

The return process was quite differentâ€¦..I was greeted by a man that said he was the check in man and I believe they over charged me for the miles I droveâ€¦. I can't prove it because I neglected to write the beginning mileage and ending mileage down but there's absolutely no way I drove 40 something miles!! I would Not recommend this place!!JASON W.
I reserved a truck at a different location to pick up the truck before the store opened with my phone, I got the confirmation call saying the switched the truck size and pick up store but that my pick up time was still set for before the store opens to pick it up with my phone. I got there at my pick up time to find out that I couldn't pick up the truck till an hour later when the store opened and the guy in the store was super rude.destiny C.
I dropped the trailer off a day early and ended up being charged for 2 extra days. The location was closed when I dropped off the trailer but a worker was their and said that he would inform his boss of the trailer.JESSE C.
I had been waiting for the email asking for my review to come, because I couldn't wait to give it. I have rented from this location before, with issue. And I really didn't have an issue with the rental process this time either. However, there were 2 distinct things that bothered me about this truck rental. First, after payment and signing process the attendant explained to me that the truck as like last time needed to be returned with the same amount of fuel in it as it was when I took possession. He told me that the truck currently had an eighth of a tank. And "EIGHTH" of a tank I repeated?? Why would it be full? Why is it the very first thing I have to do after paying $266 is stop for fuel. That didn't make any since to me. He told me that Each previous person brought it back on eighth so it stayed on eighth. To me that reflects poor customer service, that the retailer wouldn't make sure the vehicle had adequate fuel in the tank.The tank should have been on FULL. I know how to bring a truck back full. What I don't know how to do is keep myself from overspending on unused fuel while at the same time not running the vehicle out of fuel. I don't if anyone has any experience with it but I literally stopped and put fuel in the truck 4 times. FOUR times, and only drove 206 miles. If that wasn't enough, the truck clearly had not been cleaned after the last 2 rentals.FELTON M.

Have the rep. who answers the phone get customer service training. The interaction was a bullying style that has no place in any business. I had to get this job done and time or recourse to find another company; which I would have loved to do. I'm the customer buying, their selling and I have to put up with this crap. The agent for U-Haul should have no customer interface and should be entering data in the back of some warehouse!LEE B.
