Rose GNothing to do with the location but I was charged 60.00 for coverage I didn't want or need as I have Geico full coverage so now I will probably have to go to my bank to get the 60.00 back. Not sure if it was done online or what but I never asked for coverage or wanted it.

Floreasa SI am disappointed with my recent experience due to a significant overcharge on my rental that remains unresolved. My original estimate was $129.88, but I was charged $466.36 for mileage that far exceeds my actual use. Despite promptly reporting the issue and being assured of a follow-up, I have not received a response. This experience feels misleading and has impacted my small business, which chose U-Haul to help reduce delivery costs for our community outreach. I'm hopeful U-Haul will address and correct this overcharge fairly. Resolving this promptly would help restore my trust in U-Haul's service.
JOI JThe attendant was in a rush to leave. The truck wouldn't start. Had to get a jump at every stop. Roadside Assistant finally came and replaced the battery in the truck. The truck was in a accident prior to my rental. It was damaged in the front and the alignment was so off that had to drive with the steering wheel sideways. I have a picture. Truck kept swerving because of it. Had my life in jeopardy on the highway. Had issues with getting the rental and brought the truck back early and they still charging me extra for miles. Very disappointed.

JAMES PI believe the price per mile is high. My friend rented a Penske truck and paid 10 cents a mile. I'll be taking my friends recommendation next time
Scott SWhen I tried to return my trailer, I was told the site I rented it from was too full and I had to go somewhere else to return it. I was directed to the next closest U-Haul location. When I got there, I was told that they do not accept trailers and was directed to another U-Haul location much farther away. When I got there, they wanted to charge me a huge fee for not returning it to the location I rented it from, and for an oil change... on a trailer. They told me I had to drop it off where I rented it. In total I drove 15 extra miles and wasted over an hour of my time trying to return my trailer. I do appreciate that the owner was still there, after the scheduled closing time, to process my return. My final receipt appears to have errors. The total rental time doesn't add up, and I was charged twice for safe tow.
Jason MThe building was locked up, the parking area was full of trucks (no place to park except blocking a bunch of other trucks), and the phone numbers in the email and on the sign on the door did not work. That said, the manager (I assume he was the manager) was monitoring cameras remotely and saw the problem and zoomed right out to help us. He was friendly and apologized, noting that he had just cleared out trucks recently, but a bunch had come in and filled the lot, so he was going to clear it again.
RICHARD SLiar. Said I didn't turn in the hand truck. I absolutely did and I'm out.$80. This store and U-Haul has a license to steal and they'll use it. U/Haul customer service basically said tough luck, we could car less. THEIF!
MICHAEL MThe truck seemed like it was about to break down. The power steering was not reliable making driving unsafe because you would have to pull really hard to turn but then it would suddenly slip and turn too much. The man at the location didn't know how to work the system and took almost 30 min to check us in.

ARIAS AThe app would not work and waiting 40 minutes in the parking lot for help is not ideal. Also, the pads I requested and was charged for were not in the truck. It used to be much easier to use the app and now I would not recommend to anyone else to use it.
Matthew BThe gas in the truck was marked at 5/8 full but I realized once I was about s few blocked away that it was under 1/2 full. I ended up putting over $30 in gas back in when I probably used only about $10. I put a note in the drop off explaining why it was not at 5/8 so was not charged extra but still ended up spending more than I should.

Victor BI shows up 10 minutes early. They tell me that the Area manager didn't do his job and fix the milage on the one 26 foot truck so I can't use it but it's the only one they have. The nearest one was 10 miles away. They rent me a 20 foot truck and tell me it's 29.95 even though it's 39.95 on the website so I asked are you sure it's 29.95 and he said yes and it was written on his board. He additionally stated that he would offer me $10 off because of the inconvenience and at the end cut the price of my milage off by half. The agent also stated that he would give us the appliance dolly for free, this part was true. When i dropped off the truck at 5:45pm est everything was fine but i had a feeling i needed to go back in the next day. I went back the next day and the same agent was there. He told me sorry I can't give you the $10 I told you I could I can only give you $5 off and I can't give you the milage discount that I told you I could either. He handed me a piece of paper with a number and said call this number and see if they can help you. Additional he had changed the white board behind him to match the website pricing, shame on me for not taking a picture, so he said he never said it was 29.95 and he wouldn't say that because he knows the pricing of his units. I called the number and told the uhaul rep what had happened and everything I was told and she said our price is our price and if you didn't take a picture that isn't our fault. This was bar far the worst customer experience I have had anywhere for anything. I will never ever use uhaul again and I really think that you should think twice before giving them your business as they look for ways to screw you out of your money. Because I didn't get the 26 foot truck as promised my miles were almost doubled what they would have been simply because of how many extra trips I had to take to move my home.
Nicholas PYou can't do anything to improve. I have been going back and forth with being charged and overcharged from this facility. I have multiple complaints after using this facility twice. I was never told how much the safe move was. I was charged for equipment when I didn't ask for it, and when you call and tell someone, they tell you they will take it off, and come to find out, they tell you they don't know how to take it off and push you off to the call center in another city and the call center tells you that they can take it off there and the refund would have came off sooner rather than 3-5 days when they do it. In my initial rental, my card was being charged $74 every two days and after a representative took off the $162.90, the facility went ahead and charged me the $162.90 + $30 for some kind of promissory note???? I have never signed a promissory note or even a receipt as a matter of fact. THIS HAS BEEN A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!! I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN!! I RATHER CARRY MY FURNITURE IN AND ON TOP OF CARS!!! On today's date, I called the Uhaul call center and someone in West Virginia transferred me to a local NC office and when I was talking to the rep named "RASHA" she would not listen to my explanations to what happened, she just kept saying that the receipts looked right to her and maybe i should call in the morning to speak to a manager because she had other calls to tend to!!! Huh??? Poor customer service!!! I am appalled and I am very disturbed by this handling of business.
tonya sBecause my trailer came off while I was driving The manager came out and told me he would make it right and I would not be charged for this Then when we talked in 2/15/2024 he totally changed his mind and said he didn’t say that So he is a liar and the guy who put it on don’t know what he is doing I feel when a manger tells you he is not going to charge you then I believe him but uhaul has a different way of doing things
connie mThis location is okay but it feels a little sus. This is the first UHaul in my three recent attempts that the pickup office actually processed successfully though, so I guess that's a plus.

Sheila WThe gentleman at Precision was very nice and came early to change the vehicle we had been assigned. He was very helpful, but the vehicle he assigned us had a defective gas gauge. Upon pickup the gas gas read slightly under ½ tank, but within 28 miles, the tank was empty and required 19 gallons to fill up.

Roger RThe truck would not start and once it did I had to keep the engine running so that it wouldn't shut off. I received the truck at under half a tank and only used ran 15 miles and was charged to fill the tank back up . I would never ever recommend anyone going to this location.
Aisha FI had a scheduled truck pick up for 8:30 am and I had movers scheduled to help me move out of my storage unit. At 8:00, we pulled up to the location and attempted to use the app to pick up the truck. I could NEVER get the option to pick up/check out the vehicle. So I attempted to contact customer service who let me know that there was an issue with the reservation that was made and that I needed to contact the local manager. So I did. When I did she reset something and it finally allowed me to get to the point where it asked me if I "saw the truck". I clicked yes and the app kicked me out. GREAT. So then I had to wait for the guy to come (the place opens at 9am). It was an older gentleman slowly walking up after 9am. Mind you, movers are waiting on me because the process should have taken no more than 15-20 minutes. He lets all the people in and we proceed to tell him what happened. He took us outside THREE times to try a passcode that didn't work and by that time it was 9:15 am. So I'm paying almost an hour for the movers to wait ON ME. He walked to the truck and lifted the hatch to find that someone had also STOLEN the dolley we rented and all he could say was "im sorry, it wasn't locked" . After all of that we had to get a bigger truck so that we could get on the way and we got to the storage unit at 9:50 after being there since 8am. To say that was the worse experience ever would be an understatement
Anthony BHorrible experience. The guy didn't know what he was doing. It was a different guy than the one usually working there. We had reservation for 9am , didn't walk out with the truck until almost 11am. Only used the truck for about 7 hours and still got charged for 2 days rental periods.

He overcharged me and didn't know how to get it off. He said he fixed it, but I still got overwhelmed..Have to call him on tomorrow to get a credit on my card....very disappointed

Freya HThe location was above average - easy to access, clearly marked key pick up, with a gas station very close by to refuel before returning the vehicle. The experience using the app for self pickup before hours was awful. Would strongly recommend picking up during business hours to avoid needing to use the app.

I think this was mostly a difficulty in using the UHaul website for doing and after hours return, though I don;t think Saturday at 5:15 should be after hours.
Stephen WClose this location. I arrived 10 mins before scheduled pickup; there were 2-3 customers ahead of me upon arrival (2 staff members on duty). Everyone was being told their reserved trucksize was not on lot (either an overdue Return or system allowed reservation for truck not on lot). I left 2 HOURS later! Ended up taking smaller truck than originally reserved which required 2 round trips instead of 1... resulting in $125 additional mileage fee, $40 extra in fuel, & $200 in labor! After finally getting the key, truck had used water bottles still in cab and gas tank at 1/4 tank less than he stated (he said he'd email paperwork so I had nothing in print that I could validate at that time so took picture before leaving lot. I'd been paying helpers to stand around 2 hrs already - didn't have the time luxury of going back inside to complain or God forbid, ask him to correct in the system! The gentleman (said he's the Owner..?) was constantly making excuses about knowing he needs to replace the computer... which required multiple re-starts of my reservation process. Several folks eventually left - I would've had our belongings not already been staged outside for loading. I will not use this location again.
Susan KAfter equipment return, it was never entered as returned and I was charged for multiple days. Spent one hour on phone with customer service and they could not fix problem. Tried to call local office and they never answered the phone.
