The gentleman running the rentals, JEFF, did a great job and was able to help me in a pinch. I was moving items locally, but it was college graduation and much of the equipment was scheduled to be used to take students home. Anyway, he was able to arrange for a trailer and found time to get me going. THANKS!!!

The location was great. The way your Mobil pick up works is AWFUL! Your app allowed me to reserve items that the location does not keep in their inventory. So when I arrived to pick up the truck with appliance dolly and furniture dolly. They truck was ready but they did not have the other two items. Because I used your horrible app, they were not able to see that I had reserved items that they don't have to give me a heads up. Fortunately, I was able to get an appliance dolly and furniture dolly elsewhere. But meanwhile you have charged me for items that I could not get. This is the second time I had a poor experience with UHaul. We have used U haul to transport our football equipment for the past decade because of this issue we will never use them again if our issue is not corrected.

All staff and phone Reps were very nice. This complaint is strictly about the process. We needed to change our drop-off location and was told there would possibly be a $200.00 drop-off fee. I have used Uhaul over the last 20 years for the 4 or 5 times I have moved. The company's steep penalty fee is ridiculous!! I simply do not like that a customer is not told of hidden cost. I consider this practice to be deceptive and an additional $20.00 in fees and taxes can hit hard when working on a budget. I encountered two of these fees. I will seek alternate company and their prices to compare on my next move.

I called last week and spoke to Joe. Explained that I needed to pick up at his location on Monday of this week. He told me that he would follow up with me on Friday and make sure that he had my truck at his location for Monday morning. Everything worked out perfectly. Great Service!!

Truck was good and powerful--it took me $57 in gas to go from I-10 East in Houston to University Pkwy in Nacogdoches. Truck was clean and comfortable, staff was very courteous and helpful and generous with miles-allowance. So the only area for improvement is in tow-dolly maintenance on the tie-down strap ratchets. Yes, I' recommend both U-Haul locations. HOWEVER . . . the location on Red Bluff Road in Houston (Pasadena?) rented me a truck and tow-dolly but had NEITHER of them on the lot! El Stupid-O to the Max--how is that even POSSIBLE!? Also, the Iron Guard (La Porte) location was most helpful, but did not have both the truck and tow dolly. I'd recommend it also.

The equipment was as expected. Tires were in good working order. The trailer functioned as needed. The business we rented from was not customer service oriented. A younger gentlemen answered my questions the day before pick up, just fine. But when I came as scheduled to pick up the trailer, there was a somewhat older gentleman, who helped me and was a bit strange. He did not greet me or hardly look me in the eye. I said I was there to pick up and he looked at his computer then left the building without saying a word. I followed him thinking I was supposed to. Then suddenly my name is being paged to return to the desk. He, from a distance is pointing at me to go back inside. ( they did not have the trailer ready so he had to have some help getting it out from behind some others). Once inside the younger gentleman had me sign the usual papers and told me I needed to return the scheduled return day by 4:05 to avoid being charged an extra day. We took video of the trailer as we did not purchase extra ins and they did not come out with us to take pics as the Uhaul check in process requested. Upon return , the same young man got heated with my husband about his dispute of charging an extra day. We hurried to return the trailer by 3:00 , an hour earlier than the deadline. But he insisted he told us it had to be returned by noon. He got very awnry until my husband responded he would make some calls to the right people. Then the guy offered a refund of the extra charged day and said he thinks he must have mixed us up with another customer. It was weird and frustrating. After reading similar reviews, I see now it’s a pattern. So I will not rent uhauls from them anymore or use their other services. I don’t think they like people anyway.

My issue is not with the location but Uhaul. My reservation was not kept therefore I was told multiple times there were no trucks available despite having reserved it over a month before. When I was able to pick up the truck it was 2hrs after I had requested and then there were no blankets available at this location only at another. When I went to the other location they did not have blankets either. I will NEVER use Uhaul again as I have come to understand that your reservations are simply taken without consideration of availability.

Truck had been turned in overnight and was rented to me at day break. Muddy on outside on not been swept inside. Definitely needed new windshield wipers. Also the vehicle pulled to the right but that would not have been easy for the facility to know unless told by previous lessee.

Absolutely, the worst experience. I would never recommend the location I was referred too, on University drive. The origional dealer that I phoned into " Central Heights" was awesome but did not have the truck I needed so, by u haul I was sent to the other one and had to get a smaller truck that had transmission issues. The apparent boss there is the rudest. He was even talking to his help like a dog and absolutely would not help in anyway. We had never rented uhaul before and if his business was the last on earth, I would never go there. He has multiple business's at his location and because of his attitude I will not give him any of my future business. He gives uhaul a bad name.
