My reservation is for a truck 31 miles away in Sparks Nevada I don't believe I received any concession from U-Haul from you having to travel 31 miles to pick up a truck and drive back to my original location which was a mile from where I had to pick stuff upMIchael M.

Reserved a vehicle and it wasn't available. Had to wait 1.5 hours. Then the gas gauge was listed lower than on the contract. The vehicle was dirty. I reserved a dolly and blankest those weren't available.Hendrik K.

On 2/24 received U-Haul confirmation of order # 235032457 â€" pickup a 10-foot truck at the Postal Annex at 1:30pm for 3 hours on 2/28. On 2/28 at 12:17pm, Lily from Postal Annex called to confirm that I would be there at 1:30pm to pickup the truck. I arrived at 1:30pm and after waiting 10 minutes, Lily began to process my order. 30 minutes later, I had no alternative other than accepting a 17-foot truck. The 10-foot truck did not exist. Apparently, Lily did check the 17-foot truck's instrument panel for problems that morning. However, she didn't bother to compare my order # prior to the 12:17pm confirmation call with the actual inventory. She couldn't provide any sort of reasonable answer for the absence of the 10-foot reserved truck and the inability to identify this problem PRIOR to my arrival for pick-up. Finally, she offered the 17-foot truck at the same rates as the 10-foot truck, BUT she was unable to make the appropriate rate adjustment to the newly created contract # 89371880. I accepted the erroneous new contract when she advised that she would correct it Monday morning (3/1) and call me to confirm the correction. This never happened and remains PENDING. Lily advised that the was a 10-foot truck available Sunday morning, but it was rented for a trip to California. The 17-foot trucks front-end had a terrible shimmy every time the brakes were applied, especially when travelling over 40 mph. Also, because I was only moving a 10-foot rug and a 7-foot couch, I had to buy rope to tie these items down in the large 17-foot bed. To summarize, it was a bad rental experience and the billing remains to be adjusted. We rented U-Haul trucks for Houston moves about a half-dozen times and never had an issue. For U-Haul's long-term survival, I hope my experience was unusual.RONALD ALBERT L.

Maintain a larger Truck inventory (10',15',other) in the Reno-Sparks-Carson City-Dayton, NV area. I needed a one-way rental from Sparks to Las Vegas, but had to drive to Carson City to pink up my 15' truck. Truck was initially reserved and scheduled for pickup in Dayton, NV. AFTER doing an online check-in for the Dayton location, I received a DISTURBING EMAIL asking me to call regarding unavailable equipment at this location. WHAT???? Luckily the Carson City location a 15' truck.Richard C.

There weren't any signs to help figure out where to return the vehicle. We dropped off after hours, so without an employee to ask and no signs, we felt uneasy dropping off the truck until we saw the key drop off box and just hoped we were returning the truck correctly.Michelle D.

Drop off was absolutely terrible. Apparently uhaul does drop off to a phone number. I was not told this when i picked up my equipment. When I got to the drop off I was told I was in the wrong place and I had to drive 1 hour EACH WAY to drop off the truck. This is completely unacceptable. I booked to pick up from a location and drop off to another location and both of those transactions were not as promised. This was the worst rental experience i have ever had and at this point i will never be renting from uhaul again and I will be telling all of my friends this horror story.Michael L.

There was no identifying place to drop the keys off after completing the mobile return. I spent 45 minutes trying to find out where, and finally just locked the keys in the truck. Jot only was finding a key box hard, but the store front for Uhaul wasn't obviously marked. This could be much better done.Daniel H.

location was difficult to find due to construction. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. However I was told that I could get my deposit I paid in cash when I returned the truck however when I returned the truckI was told there wasn't enough cash on site and that the $100.00 would be credited to my card. After waiting 15 days still no refund. I had to call the main uhaul department to get my refund. still waiting but I received a invoice today stating they have sent it to my bank.Kimberlee B.
