Make sure the windshield is clean and that the wipers are good. I had to scrub the bugs and crud off the windshield. When I needed the wipers in South Dakota both of them were broken and coming apart. I limped my way through a blizzard to a truck stop and was able to replace them. As for the place I picked the equipment up in. They were super nice and helpful. I would definitely use them again if I was in the area.

RAYMOND RI was frustrated with the registration/ computerized system. Despite having been granted a confirmation number when I showed up to pick up the truck there was no truck. Thankfully, the manager of the location got us a truck and we were able to get our move completed.

terri GI made a one way reservation with a specific drop off. For some reason the day before my drop off, without talking to me a scheduling manager changed my drop off to a location 30 minutes away. It took a chat and three 30+ minute phone calls to get it changed back. There should be a question in this review regarding custom service or my overall experience. My response would be very unsatisfactory.

GAROLD JNeed to clearly inform customer that the U-Haul box trucks are commercially rated vehicles and therefore the customer’s personal vehicle insurance does NOT apply to these rental trucks. You are exposing the customer to TREMENDOUS LIABILITY if he CAUSES damage or personal injury. That fact was not known to me until after I rented and drove vehicle away and subsequently talk to my insurance agent who adamantly clarified to me that my ordinary car liability insurance would NOT cover me if I CAUSED vehicle damage or personal liability injury.. Your dealerships should go to extremes to clarify this lack of coverage before the customer drives away with the vehicle. Once I realized this fact, I called the U-Haul dealer where I rented the truck to add additional liability but he said U-Haul policy allows only 30 minutes after I rent the truck to add additional insurance. He told I needed to drive truck back to his rental location to add insurance! That would be added inconvenience and liability exposure as well as cut back on the time I had to use the truck. Please review your policies to clarify exactly what is covered and not covered when customer picks up truck. I would have paid a larger insurance premium to add personal liability.
jerry vThis location and this owner is horrible!!! What happened to me was done intentional… And I was not able to get the truck I reserved!!! Thank God that a agent helped me find another truck to use!! The whole thing was so messed up since this location and owner did what they did…. Horrible experience!!!!!!

Dina MBe open when you say your going to be open. Fix your web site, web page kept saying I didn't have a reservation even though I did. The truck I originally asked for was not available so I changed the date and then the truck was still not available on the day I reserved it. I had to call your hot line, the lady have me a number to call and no one answered. She got me transfered when I called her back and said there was no answer to that line. The person she transferred me to seemed put out that she had to help me. All in all it took 45 minutes,5 phone calls and 2 operators just to get keys to our truck.

frank rIt was okay, kind of disappointed that my sister and I had to unhook the trailer ourselves in a snowy lot but we got it done! I kind of thought someone would at the very least check the trailer over. My mistake.
MELANIE PPioneer Muffler is the best place to rent a uhaul or get exhaust work done. Allen and his crew are honest and forthright. I’d recommend them to anyone.

jandy cMaybe be a little clearer about the fuel, when asked if price changes would be made due to the excess fuel we were told changes would beade but in fact that is incorrect, apparently if you don't have the same amount of fuel as when picking up they charge your card for it but if you have more fuel whe dropping off then when picking up they don't actually forgive the difference as said. No biggie just some people might not like that.
Charlie JIt was a simple mistake but it cost me substantial time in picking up my truck. The key that was in the lock box was not the key to the truck left for me. The pictures that were taken of the truck, we’re not taken of the truck the key actually went to. Fortunately I am a problem solver. I finally figured out the keys that were in the box were to a different truck which was parked across the street on the other side of a fence. I matched the number on the keychain to the number on the truck. I ended up having to retake all of the photos since the pictures were of the wrong truck. The windshield was absolutely filthy. Seems like it would’ve been easy enough to at least leave me with a clean windshield.
Traci DHello,whenever I go to this location in the stben Epharta basin WA I have trouble picking up the trailer late 1 hour and a half,they do not have the time that is deserved a vliente from you at the time of making a pickup ompara an engrega and when there some problem either because of a reservation or because of something that gets added to.the reservation you try to explain to Mr. Allen or his employee and they are not willing to even listen to you or want to see your account on your phone and when you call customer service nor wanted to listen to the of customer service is at this place where unique I have had.problems of all the places I have used from uhall and then have an antiguobde computer system that to be able to add a voucher that I had lasted an hour and a half osea that I leave an hour and a half later than planned and yesterday for the return I arrive at 4:15 pm and they closed at 5 and I practically voted the place out and gave me the owner's phone so I could talk to the y to do me.they put the hold on and I had to call customer service where they created me and mdieron a reference number in case they don't refund my deposit or try to charge something to my targeta so they can't.I had to call up my bank a horrible experience in this place and then you arrive and they ask you that if you went up to california thing that number one doesn't.care and that he shouldn't of walk wondered because I had already told them of which point to which point I was going to move the trailer on this place thanks to all the customer service for being so kind .i will wait for their prompt action regarding. Thank you and good day

greg pUhauls are stored across the main street and in an alley. Handed the keys and sent on our way. Told the tank was completely full and we should bring it back likewise. Had to drive 20 miles to get a truck.

jack fThis was the dirtiest place I have ever physically been in. That is not Hyperbole, I was so disgusted I took pictures. It is a greasy, dirty, hoarders paradise. There is a vehicle lift at the front door that you have to walk around and beside. A truck was on it with parts and tools strewn everywhere when I picked up the truck. The proprietor was super busy and offered zero support or help with the retrieval of the truck and the check over/check out process was rushed and not thorough at all. Unsafe, filthy, condescending all describe my experience at the rental location.
