The truck was used to haul around 100 boxes of memorial wreaths for the National Wreaths Across America ceremonies on December 14, 2019. This event was sponsored locally by the Civil Air Patrol Unit in Ephrata, WA. The truck met our needs perfectly and the dealer provided us with excellent service.

Defrost did not work at all. Dome light did not work. Had to drive 150 + miles with drivers window partially open just to be able to see .

Excellent place, super friendly and helpful! Especially considering that the East Wenatchee UHaul made a reservation when they were closed (what the heck?!). Plus the Spokane center told me Ephrata (per mapquest) was only 34 miles from my home-so very wrong, it was 58 miles one way! Regardless, UHaul made things right and the Ephrata staff and location were so kind! The only improvement I wouldrecommend is to do away with “automated” computerized pickups-what a hassle-we tried I think literally more than 15 different times to add a driver thru pic taking of driver’s license and finally gave up 45 minutes later.

No suggestions for improvement---Pioneer Muffler/U-Haul is the location that has achieved my highest ranking! I have recommended this location to a variety of people since having their help when first moving to Ephrata (5 years ago). Customer service is EXCELLENT and beyond that! Thank you.

Claimed we hadn't paid but when they finally took the time to look at the computer and see.... we had and had gone through the whole process online.

You shouldn't assume the customer would have a cell phone with them when picking up vehicle. Mine was at home charging and missed text to check out vehicle condition. Called and was put on an hold and i hug up after 10 minutes on hold. Otherwise yo would have received Excellent.

We dropped of the truck after hours so there was no contact with the owners.

They had just finished working on the truck underneath. The truck had a leak on the gas tank left a pool of gas whenever we stopped. The truck was gutless and the recover for a trailer stinger was turned wrong so you could not use a regular stinger. Did not tell us to call UHaul with our problems said he was slammed and didn’t have time to help us.

The truck we had needed an alignment really bad. It kept pulling to the right on the highway. RPM's also revved or stuck at 4000 for no reason sometimes like it was shifting rough a couple of times. Truck was clean and equipment supplies we rented looked like new. Got the job done!

Truck was old and broke down during use. Had to be towed. Received new truck. Late in evening. Uhaul tried to charge my card for over $900 for the change neessesary to complete move. This is unacceptable and caused me many issues. Was very unprofessional

First of all this place does not actually do 24/7 truck share from what I can tell. I was supposed to get my truck Friday night at 6pm after hours. I called them on Thursday to confirm. It was not ready Friday night because they didn’t set it up. When I had to drive back to ephrata from ellensburg the next morning at 8am, they said it was uhuals fault. I asked about the truck share lock boxes and he didn’t have a straight answer. I don’t think they know how to use it. Also truck had a ripped fender that was duct taped on. We tried to tape it more but eventually it blew off in the freeway. Overall the worst experience with uhual this time.

I had to drive all the way to Ephrata to pick up a truck. I spent 7 hours driving just to get the truck back to where I needed it. Plus the women at reservations hung up on me three times than put me on hold for another 30 min. because I asked to talk with a manager because she could not explain why I had to go to Ephrata to pick up the truck. She is a peach. A moldy wormy peach. Worst customer service ever experienced, and I have been to England. On the bright side they did give me enough miles move three times and a four extra days. What good that did me I am still questioning? I guess I should have cruised the streets in my new town for a couple of days in a big ass truck or put out an add to make some $ moving stuff around town. Another note; do not bother with on-line check-in. That whole thing was BS. I had to sit in this sketchy roadside pit stop for an hour and a half and wait for the guy to come back from lunch. Not a big deal but there is not a lot to do in the middle of Ephrata WA. Guy got back and would not accept the paper print out of the confirmation, so I then had to fill out the whole form by hand so it could be entered into the system by two different guys on a computer that was old in 1995? The whole thing reminded me of four drunk friends and an ex-girlfriend trying to remember where they parked your car and hid your keys before they left for the bar and you have ten minutes to get to work. I will defiantly not be recommending to anyone in the near future.

That's the 5th time I rent at this location and every time they take A LONG TIME to make the paperwork!! EVEN when I do all the ONLINE CHECK IN they still take a lot of time! This last time was even worse! More than 30 minutes just because another customer was having some issues with their rental. Those guys really need training and let people use the ONLINE CHECK IN to save time! Really stupid to have a system to save time IF THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!! PLEASE SOMEONE TEACH THIS PEOPLE!

Its a mess. No instructions or signs about where to drop off. I dropped off during closed hours so did not speak to anyone.

Signage was not good, I had no idea where to park the U-Haul. There was no signs stating where to park. Only stating to not park illegally. Unfortunately I got there after hours so no one was there to assist.

First the guy at this location probably have absolutely NO IDEA what the express check in is. Even if I made it in advance with pictures of my DL and everything required he asked me ALL again and took 15 minutes to let me go When I asked about the check in system online he answered “that thing don’t work. I need to see everything “ And that’s not the first time this happened on the same location They need more training maybe Also all trailers are very dirty specially outside Not sure if they supposed to wash them but apparently here they never do that - trailers or trucks all dirty sitting in a dust lot

The person at the desk did not give me an opportunity to inspect the truck. He did not give me an option to purchase the insurancd, he just added it. He was on the phone while assisting me. He seemed irritated during the entire process and just wanted me to leave.

Had to go fifty miles out of way to pick up. They didn’t fill the u haul. The out side of the u haul was dirty. Had bugs all over the windshield had to clean before I used.

Right tail light was out. The location was also a muffler shop, so it was very cluttered inside.

I had to drive an additional hour each way because the truck I reserved a week in advance was not available at any of the locations in my area and picked it up at this location. I was informed of this change after I had scheduled movers to load the truck. I was offered only additional miles to make up for the miles drive to/from the new location and not the increased gas usage. If a reservation is not factual on your part, then whey should any consumer have confidence in working with you?

The truck was filthy. Coated in dead bugs and dirt. I had to scrub the windshield for 10 minutes to get it clean. UNSAFE!

Allen in Ephrata was awesome, why was I not able to pick up the trucks in ML and since I was renting 3 trucks and auto transporters I have to travel around to pick up equipment. I voiced my unhappiness with Allen and he was able to provide us with two of the 3 trucks

In all honesty this was the worse experience I have ever had. We drove an hour and a half to pick up the truck and arrived on time for our truck pick up at 7:20pm and didn’t leave with our truck until 9:30pm and still had to load and drive back.. The person I spoke with from Spokane, Wa misspelled my name which I verified with her a few times and that made it impossible to access my reservation. My fiancé had to make her own account to access the reservation. No one would answer the phone when we tried calling. I tried live chatting and he wasn’t any help at all. Also, when someone finally answered the phone we got no apology for the horrible experience. I thought Uhaul was customer oriented and cared but we got shown the complete opposite. One other thing, after all that and when we finally got our code to open the lock box we were given a four letter code when the lock box asked for a 3 digit number code. Worst experience I have ever had.

THIS is NOT the location we choose. TWO men had to take EXTRA time off work - lose money to travel to this location. The truck had 1/4 tank of fuel and they jacked up the insurance price from our quoted amount. THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME WE DO BUSINESS WITH UHAUL.
