Miscommunication with the rental software wouldn't let the employee rent out the equipment and made the process longer than it should have took to complete.

Truck was shaking but was better after loaded
TrizaK S.The service receipt and the information shared with the drop-off agent are inconsistent with each other. I indicated that I refilled the tank according to the chart as best as I could determine, then I am charged MORE! No way!!!! This is poor business practice, especially as I have wet boxes to deal with. Poor customer care, poor PR and poor management of vehicles. You should be embarrassed by this. If not, then proves the point that the customer's value is NOT valued.

Paul D.Horrible!!! I arrived to find the business closed and a note taped to the door. I also found 2 unsecured lock boxes with keys in them. After 2 hours on the phone and fantastic help fro the Southeast South storage Uhaul rep I was able to get one of the trucks I. The parking lot with the keys I found in the unsecured lock box. HELL NO I would not recommend this place. Not even to my worst enemy!

LAQUITA R.The woman working the counter was unhelpful in helping me setup the ball/hitch/chain/signaling. That is, she refused to help me. Every other time I've used Uhaul the employer and I will go through the directions for the hitch connector, and it's very easy to not do it correctly since it's something I do maybe twice a year. U-Haul should have a more competent safety-oriented employee at this location. This seems dangerously incompetent.

Chris C.Have trailers available at reserved locations. We originally requested a trailer for pickup on 07/30 in Auburn, AL. When we called to confirm pickup, we were told that we would need to pick up in Roanoke,AL instead which was way out of our way. We then requested to pick up earlier on 7/29 in Montgomery, AL which was much more convenient to us. UHaul should consider and value the customer's reserved pickup and drop off requests at time of reservation.

I stayed on hole for 10-15 minutes until my phone died. I then went and paid to have the tire repaired ($25.00). It had a long screw in the tire as well as a leaking tire stem. Both times the first question, when I told them I could not upload pictures, was "are you using the App?" When I responded yes, they said try the U-Haul website. The App needs to work or be eliminated. Added 30 extra minutes on each end.

JAMES B.Rented a truck from this location in early April. Drove truck approximately 41 miles. When received bill, we were charged for 171 miles. I went immediately to the office and was told it wasn't there fault the mileage is wrong and local office can't fix anything. Basically I was being accused of lying to her. I promptly called Uhaul service center and was told the local Regional Director would contact us. It has been nearly 14 days and no contact from anyone at Uhaul. I have proof that we only drove mileage I stated. Someone at location didn't properly check in truck prior to us using or they were using for themselves thus creating mileage discrepancy. The poor customer service and slow response to fixing this issue is beyond belief.

MARVIN L.The truck was filthy and had so much nicotine and cigarette smoke that my wife could not ride in it. Consider cleaning the trucks so people that are sensitive to smoke can ride in them.

Benjamin D.For one you can not ignore someone when they have an issue with their rental. I checked the box in the app when I returned my truck saying I didn't agree with the charges for a variety of reasons including ones that the character limit didn't allow me to fit. I have also now emailed the automated response email twice regarding this and have been charged the full amount for my rental regardless of my concerns. It's obvious u-haul doesn't give a shit about the customers because they're 3 penske locations away from being a monopoly in self rentals.
