Didn't originally pick this location for multiple reasons. Not only was I charged for items that I didn't use/ they didn't have, I've been waiting for a call from the manager. Needed the charges fixed and have tried multiple times.Mackenzie L.

The inside of the truck had dirt chunks on the driver and passenger side from previous renters. I was also charged 3 times. My rental was $27 and turned into $67. Then I have to holds on my account equivalent to the total amount already withdrawn. If this over charge/hold on my account keeps happening I'm going to buy my own freaking moving truck!Teresa C.

The staff at this convenience store location were very nice and courteous, however, they were not skilled in the Uhaul rental processing website. We waited an hour for the owner to come and process the pickup. Then, when we dropped off the vehicle, just an hour and a half later, the owner was gone, and we had to process drop-off ourselves, because the store clerk couldn't figure out the program, and the whole ordeal took another 30 minutes. We lost 1.5 hours on pickup and drop-off.Peter A.
Place smelled like weed. The guy couldn't figure out how to get me checked in and was there for an hour before I got the keys and was able to get my move started. Then charged me an extra $60 then quotedEthan P.

Then fix the drop then the guy at the drop first check it in till 11:20 then proceeds to charge me a 20 late drop fee when I was there at 7:30in tha afternoon. The guy was rude I think doing a drug deal while I was waiting the phone with customer service in the parking lot then charges me for 4 gallons of gasâ€¦ for being a centimeter off on gas drop.. 18$ worth when I only drove it 44 mikes and put 20$ in it. Will not use uhaul again my experience especially this store was scary, unfortunately terrible.shaina D.

They told me I needed to sweep the back of the truck out after using it, but when I got it, the truck had leaves and dirt all in the back.Esther D.
I found out its better to call first then to show up in person. They may not have a dedicated person for renting equipment on stand by. You may have to wait for that specific individual, so I would recommend calling to expedite that process to cut back any possible wait time. Service was still friendly no rudeness or sarcastic looks during my rental process in store.Andres B.

The uhaul wasn't really clean but it wasn't dirty enough to complain. The cashier didn't seem to know what he was doing but was friendly. The billing I am unhappy with and was overcharged. I'm 50/50 on this location but I had problems with uhaul over and over again recently.JACQUELINE G.

We reported that the unit was smelling bad and they told me they. Pulsing do anything about it . We put all our stuff In there and when we unpacked our sofa was all covered with feces (poop) and we took pictures and left it as is and they even saw it and promised to do something about it . We didn't get any type of gratification or phone call for apologies from the person in charge . Now I had to get rid of my 1200 sofa and get a new one . Very very very bad experienceALEJANDRA R.

Tank was not filled to halfway but we were required to fill up beyond our usage to compensate for whoever didn't fill the tank. We also turned in the truck 2 hour early even after the manager was 30 minutes late processing the order and handing us the keys. We were given a discount of $2.00 for the gas, which would cover...roughly 2/3 of a gallon at this point in time. I love UHaul but certainly felt taken advantage of this time around.David W.

The uhaul's rear left reverse light was out, brakes squeaked extremely loud, and the power steering was terrible. Driving the uhaul took a lot more effort and strength than it really should have. I've NEVER had this issue with a uhaul. The power steering made it EXTREMELY difficult to park the vehicle and extemely difficult to turn. It is not completely out however, the level of difficulty experienced in driving it really reduced our mobility efficiency. I had to pay entirely too much money to utilize the truck, needed an additional 5 hours of use and got charged for another entire day. I really don't see how that's a fair price when it comes to a truck already being rented out.CARISSA R.

Horrible experience renting Uhaul. It took me over an hour to get my truck. The customer service person had to call multiple people to get my rental done, and kept having to stop to check out convenience store customers. I had requested a dolly, but none was available. It is just a drop off location, not a real U-Haul. Not the nicest part of San Antonio. Employee at the place said he couldn't work the computer, fortunately I was able to self-checkout with the app instead. There is a full U-Haul up the street I found out.Bradley C.
This U-Haul provider charged me for the optional insurance which they never asked me if I wanted. They also charged me for 6 furniture pads which were not provided. The truck also did not come with a ramp which made it impossible for me to utilize the dolly and to transport large objects. They then ended up charging me more than what was quoted. When I tried to talk to the manager, there was no one available. This location is at a convenience store and the U-Haul manager is non existent, you can only speak to a convenience store clerk. The clerks do not know anything about the U-Haul rentals and it took a long time for us to rent since the clerk had never done it before. The manager or owner of this U-Haul has not once tried to contact me in regards to the extra charges.AMBER O.

Quite literally the WORST service I have ever dealt with. NOBODY wants to answer their phones or emails AND they double charged me, in which now that notified they won't answer anything. So i'm making sure to tell people to never use this location again and to find literally any other company to move. Nevermind the fact that it's a constant wait time for over AN HOUR that people don't have during a work day????? This is completely ridiculous. I experienced Port service of just you all location. After the transaction was made I asked for a receipt and wasn't given one. Later on the receipt was emailed to me I saw that I was charged for something I didn't ask for. I returned to get a refund and they told me it would be processed and a few business days. I see the charges on my account went from pending to post it and I was not issued my refund. I spoke with the lady before any of this happened to try and make sure this would not happen. She assured me everything was going to be okay and it totally wasn't. Never using U-Haul again.MYRON L.

Over charged me. I was late four and a half hours. I called the center and they told me they would charge me $50 late fee. I ended up being charged $20 late fee, $50 cleaning fee and extra day fee of $19.95. I only used the van to move a mattress and four boxes. When my husband asked questions and complained the employee told him to get out of his store and threatened to call the cops. I ended up calling the 1-800 number and was told a field manager approves the refund of the $50 cleaning fee and the extra day fee of $19.95 plus tax so they made it right but in the meantime I wasn't prepared to pay the ridiculous sum of $189 for a $19.95 van that we used for 60 milesJose H.
