larry pProprietor TOMMY of Pequot auto repair is very personable and easy to communicate with he simplifies the process and makes it a pleasure rather than a burden he takes the time to take me to the vehicle or trailer explain its operation and see me off I’ve been using him for many many years now my rental is always staged and ready to be picked up I’ve been with UHAUL for decades upon decades and have had some issues at their other locations that has never been the case here I look forward to using this location in the future and I would always recommend them to anyone who is inquiring as to U-Haul’s best location to have a worry free experience can’t say enough about pequa auto repair

Andrew FThe truck was old with damage. The shift indicator did not work. The 12v outlet did not work. The radio did not work. The cargo area was damp. The drivers arm rest was missing. This truck should be taken out of service!

BRIGITTE KIf the attendant in not around he should leave a sign in the door when he will be back. He was not available when we arrived at or scheduled time and as we were leaving he caught us. He should have a bell to ring if he is in the back office and can't hear a knock. On our return of the vehicle there was another person there looking for him. It doesn't take much, its a courtesy.

Timothy RThere was no one at the desk when we came in to drop off the truck, we walked into the shop and gave one of the workers the key. The parking lot was also very full, we were able to squeeze in but if I had gone with the 26’ truck I originally rented and not the 10’ truck I switched to last minute; there would’ve been no where for me to park it on site.

ANTHONY MTruck was dirty. Rent was 39.99 but with all extra charges it doubled. We used the truck for 3 hours and under 10 miles. 2 gallons of gas was charged to the account. The truck gets @10 miles to the gallon but we somehow managed to use 2 gallons for under 10 miles and apparently it costs over $6 a gallon. Do you need directions to a better priced gas station? I have many. Person who rented truck to us was very nice, helpful and pleasant. I can’t rent from u haul again due to overall pricing.

mike sCargo van had a flat when I got it. I rent from uhaul at least once per month so it was very disappointing. Also took 45 min to ch3ck in via mobile in the pouring rain. Going to look somewhere else next time.
MICHAEL VVery easy self help transaction. Both pick up and return. There was a web site glitch when returning but it let me proceed past it and complete return transaction. A call to the main # and a very pleasant rep assured me it would be fine. Following day I got the email with final bill and receipt. No problem at all really.

JOHN HTom Lipera of Pequa Automotive has been so helpful over the years renting us Uhaul. The location is convenient , the Uhaul s are always clean and well maintained. Moving ourselves & family more than a dozen times a much easier has been less stressful with the help of Tom’s Uhauls

barbara KI’ve been renting from U-Haul for decades at many different locations when I learned of Pequot automotive repair/U-Haul truck and trailer rental location in Massapequa I was happy about just the convenience of the location but after using This location I found it is far and away the best location U-Haul has there isn’t even a close second they are quick, ready ,explain things simply, professional and friendly that checks all the boxes for me I would recommend this to anyone likewise with their auto repairs I have started using them as a result of the way that they handle my rental request I have found them to be the same with my trucks and personal cars very knowledgeable simplify explanations of anything I need to know and handle the transaction in a quick professional polite way they’ve taken a hassle and uncomfortability out of The rental experience I would highly recommend them to anyone, other U-Haul locations need to pay attention Pequa Automotive repair really checks all the boxes for having a worry free rental experience
KYLE SI’m being held responsible for defects on a trailer when I’ve told Uhaul several times about straps falling off of vehicles in transport. I was unable to make it in time for drop off n charged for an extra day

Richard TThe online check in failed the day before I rented the van and upon return the online checking again failed it could not determine my location (I was at the return spot) and then timed out and would not allow me to try again. So I could never lib my miles anywhere? I stopped back in the following day and the man working there assured me it was all taken care care and my online receipt confirmed that. The online system is not user friendly!!!

Beverly JPEQUA AUTO CARE which is also a U-HAUL RENTAL location should be used as an example for all of your locations as to how to be friendly professional and expedite anyone requiring a rental I have been using this location now for many years in fact as long as it’s been available and have never been disappointing and I always find it a quick and friendly process in fact I now use PEQUA AUTO CARE to take care of my vehicles personal and business anyone trying this location for the first time would certainly become a repeat customer for both auto care in any U-Haul rental needs they may require

Gas fee was promised to cover by owner. But denied last mins. Delayed for job and almost got fired. It turned into disaster day. But no one cared and offered something.
