The online pickup and drop off process was absolutely horrible. Took 45 min to figure out everything using mobile device, license would not scan, having to upload so much crap b4 and after was ridiculous! Will never do 24/7 again. Also, the 15' size truck I was confirmed to rent was changed to a 26' size which was way too big and difficult to manage the space I needed to maneuver within. I had no choice, had to take it if I wanted to accomplish my project. You can take a reservation,, you just can't hold a reservation! Will only rent a uhaul in the future if I can access a live person face-to-face!!!!!Cheryl K.
Equipment per rental was NOT available, no notice about it until time of rental. LIED about situation and got caught in lie. Called Uhaul who was supposed to alter mileage rate to compensate and did not .Dave G.

Trying to return drunk here at 9pm at night was horrible, Passes the place twice because there is no lights and a tiny sign in the yard. Way to hard to find. Then very dark trying to find key drop.DANIELLE S.

I reserved 12 packing blankets and wasn't informed until the day before or day of that none were available. While our rental contract was adjusted with the removal of the charge, this could've been a much different situation if items we were moving were damaged because we didn't have them. As it was, I had to use my own regular bed blankets to alleviate the possibility of damage.ANDREW P.

The online check in process did not work and was very cumbersome. The representative at the pick up station finally came out and helped me get through the check in process, "in person". She was very helpful. Because of this I did not get to look in the vehicle until after the process was complete. Upon entering the truck, the floorboards were very muddy and the steering column, dash and driver's side area was covered in cigarette ashes and the cab smelled of cigarette smoke. I found this funny since the rep specifically asked me if I smoked and there was a No Smoking sticker on the driver's side window.Travis W.

I would suggest letting customers know they must have WiFi enabled in order for the 24/7 truck pick up to work. Maybe this information was clearly illustrated, but I missed it and it was frustrating until I figured that part out!Barry K.

1. We were given the wrong truck and key, which caused the process to take 40+ more minutes than expected. 2. The truck had less than 3/8 of gas in the tank. Essentially, we had to fill it up as soon as we got it. 3. It took over 25 minutes to reach a customer service representative. During that period, we were stuck waiting outside in 95F heat. 4. The pickup area owner knew we were there the entire time, but did not go outside to ask about the situation until everything was finally settled.Alexander U.

Used the 24/7 drop off. Someone had parked another drop off in the middle of the driveway, so I had to just leave my rental behind it. Also was unclear where to drop the key off. There are 2 key boxes...one with just a slot and another with a combination lock. Was not sure which to use. Couldn't figure out how to get a combination so just put the key in the other one.Mark L.

We only talked on the phone. Very pleasant. Actual drop off was after hours. I didn't realize that I had to take pictures for the drop off process until after I dropped the keys in the drop box. I wish I had been made aware of all that before I dropped it off. Otherwise, everything went smooth and everyone was nice.Daniel F.
The experience was awful. Although we reserved our U-HAUL vehicle online, we arrived about 5-10 minutes prior to closing (it was a Sunday; open hours were from 9-12 noon, it was roughly 11:50). The U-Haul location was someone's house it an office attached to the door. There were poor instructions/directions to the key box. No one was present to tell us where to look. When calling UHAUL, we were placed on hold for over twenty minutes waiting to be verified. Meanwhile, we used an additional cell phone to call customer service to figure on what was going on and why no one left was able to answer our call. Eventually (about 12:30) someone came out of the house for U-Haul(after posted hours) to help. Turns out the key that was suppose to be in the lock box was actually if their possession anyways. We finally left after 12:30 and we were still charged beginning at 12 noon. The service was TERRIBLE. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.Jordan T.

The online check-in with a cell phone is a joke. Took 30 minutes to get my vehicle. Asking for a passport when my alternate contact didn't answer her phone? Who carries a passport with them??? The agent who was trying to help me was no help at all. Finally able to give them a new alternate contact and they called her while I was standing next to her at the Uhaul dealer. Then they claimed she didn't answer the phone DESPITE her talking to someone from Uhaul only seconds earlier. Complete joke of a system. I'd never use that again.Robert N.
The mobile check in and check out experience was awful. Way more work than just talking to the rep. Also, i took photos of odometer and gas and everything else and then locked up the truck and deposited the key. then i discovered your sure won't let me upload the photos I took, only take new ones.
