Tell the person who is renting it it is reserved out. Not expect me to bring it back 35 miles out of way. 14 hrs early an pay extra then resolve the problem myself.... Very disappointed in overall treatment.

The truck was dirty with mostly hay and other small items left behind. The truck had Mark's on it that werent put on the paper as well. When we mentioned this all to the guy he just blow it off. I know there was a language barrier but we shouldnt have to clean out our truck before using and we didnt want to be held responsible for marks we didnt cause. We however got no where with him. I will say this isnt our first bad experience, the 2 times prior to this at a location in Bardstown, KY we have received dirty trucks from there as well. If a charge is being applied for a dirty truck then someone needs to be cleaning it out and every truck needs to be cleaned before renting it out. The online form kept going back to less than 24 hour rental, we even spoke to the guy he said 8 am return, but all emails said 8 hours prior at midnight. We do have pictures of the truck before we left the lot.

I did not sign up for safe move coverage so I was charged 28 too wmuch. I also requested a 17 foot truck but only a 15 was available. That increased my mileage cost because we had to make 2 trips.

person there was not interested in helping at all. I had rented and paid for two days, but only kept the truck for one day. I wanted to ask about a refund but the person would not/could not address my concern. I am out over one hundred dollars simply because the person would not discuss a refund. Needless to say, I will not ever use this facility again!

The service from this location was very good however I rented a truck from the Preston highway facility a week plus in advance the truck was not available and no one told me prior to me getting there. The manager of the Preston Highway store was very apologetic and found another vehicle for me.The issue at hand is the truck was smaller I had to drive 30 miles out of my way to rent a vehicle and I didn’t get the job done

I had initially set up a rental over the phone with another location nearby. When I arrived the staff there notified me that “uHaul Corporate” had taken the trailer and I would not be able to rent it. The staff was friendly, and arranged for me to pick up the same trailer at another location nearby. I drove to the other location and if I had not pushed for the local propieter to contact someone by phone then I would not have been able to rent from this location either. He continually told me, with severely limited English, that he had no trailers there (the trailer was parked right outside). I told him that I had confirmed the reservation with the other location and he reluctantly called someone by phone and I was able to rent the trailer over the phone. Both pick up and drop off were unsupervised and no assistance was given hooking up the trailer or going over any safety points. Overall, I was extremely unsatisfied with every aspect of this rental except the trailer itself. The trailer was in perfect working condition, other than many tie down points (this was a car hauler) were rusted and bent. The straps were fine and I was able to utilize the trailer for my purposes.

truck was not where it was supposed to be originally, dolly was not in the truck and i was not told-i found out AS I WAS MOVING-door was not even closed, they were not prepared, I had to wait around 30 minutes for them to get their computer going, did not get any info or paperwork or sign anything at all, was given the key and pushed off, horrible experience

The company was personnel were nice. Unfortunately the tires were not fully inflated to normal 80 psi upon pick up. I could drive the truck but I had difficulty finding a place to check and fully inflate the tires.

The guy working the counter tried to not give me the furniture dolly because he was using it for a machine in his store. Also, he had me put on the level 1 inspection sticker without going out to look at the truck. I wouldn’t pick up there, again.

Keep in-mind that this is a convenience store first; deli second; gas station third; and also a U-Haul provider. The guys are nice, but barely speak a lick of English. My experience was totally disorganized; didn’t have the furniture dolly I requested; had to talk with an English-speaker over their phone to complete the contract; and they neglected to disclose there was a ‘per mile’ charge for in-town use. $100 for a 20-footer for 4-hours — ugh. Worst part is that it was on empty when I got it and filthy. I’d go to another location if possible. Good luck!

Pearls was great but the size I reserved a couple of weeks ago was not there. I reserved a 15 foot and had to get a 10 foot. Uhaul is a joke and I will never rent from you all again. Everything is a hassle when dealing with the company.

Took a little while for the owner to get access to the check in site. Waited almost 15 minutes just to be able to start the process of getting the truck because computer was so slow. Gentleman was incredibly nice and apologetic, equipment was very clean and well maintained, and the process of checking it back in when we were finished was incredibly quick and painless. Would rent from them again!

Did not have the 26' truck I reserved. Had to take extra load due to this, and I get charged an extra miles fee. Had nowhere near the amount of blankets I reserved, did not have the dolley I reserved. Took almost 45 minutes to complete the pickup process. I was charged an extra day because my drop off location closed early that day. Then, I get the bill and am paying some damage/missing fee with no explanation what that issue was. Entire process was pretty terrible.

dirty old trailer - bald tires - door would not open or close with out 3 people pulling or pushing it - did not check the vehicle - lights - ball type - had to hook it up on our own - just handed me the paper and said good luck - very dangerous - should not be a uhaul dealer!! Horrible experience!!

Tow dolly that was rented needed a lot of maintence. Ratchets on the straps were pretty much immobile.

I rented a 15 foot truck for one day, cost $19.95 per day, and purchased insurance for $14.00 on truck. Truck was supposed to be full of gas when I got the truck, gas gauge was saying full, or at least it looked like full when I got the truck. I drove the truck just over 60 miles to pick up some furniture. When I returned the truck the following day, I filled the tank with gas, a total of 14.39 gals. at a cost of $34.30. that means either the truck fuel gauge was incorrect or your trucks get less than 4.5 miles to a gallon. In addition The mileage charged was $0.69 per mile. I am very disappointed in your service, and don't anticipate renting from your company again unless I get a refund on at least a portion of the cost. This is outrageous.

Barely spoke English then tried to blame us for every scratch and the damage. My boyfriend and I are police officers so there is no way we would leave the scene if we wrecked or damaged the truck.

The pick up location was fine. Your customer service is an absolute joke! Worst experience I have EVER had!!!!!!!! First of all, you messed up my original reservation. I specified to the customer service rep that I needed to pick up on Friday after 5pm at the location on Bardstown road. She told me no problem and that that would be fine. I get a call Thursday that the closest truck is in New Albany, Indiana and that it won't be available until Saturday morning. Frustrating, but ok. Next, as I am driving over the bridge to enter Indiana from Kentucky, I get a call saying the that there isn't a truck available anymore in Indiana. She said that I need to drive to Springfield (easily an hour completely out of the way) to get a truck. After dealing with a very rude and dry customer service rep and basically telling her where I know UHaul locations are (because apparently it is difficult to locate a truck in her system), she finds me a truck in Mount Washington!!!!!!!!! FYI Mount Washington is Southeast of Louisville. Needless to say, I won't be using Uhaul ever again and will NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible!!!!!!!!! Get your shit together! Go home, Uhaul. You're drunk.

I will never do it again . It was a nightmare! 1st / the guy at Pearls didn't know anything about it even after the fact I called before going to pickup. And we even took the confirmation I printed off showing everything I order the day before. Then no dolly ! They then told us to go get it from another place in town. Went there and they had none plus told you we were not given a contract so if we were pulled over by the police, it would look as we stole the truck. But they did find a dolli for us but then we had to drive into fern creek to get it. So more than half the miles and gas that was used was all because Pearls don't have a clue what they are doing !!!! And they didn't even give me any discount on the gas or mileage!!!!!!!! So there for I am not happy and our son is even moving next weekend !!! I guess we will be looking company to rent that truck.
