The truck and the dolly that I reserved was not available so I had to get a smaller truck which caused me to make a extra trip. I traveled a total of 4 miles and was changed $10 for 2 gallons of fuel. I still haven't heard from them with a refund or a explanation!Fred R.

The truck cabin was utterly disgusting. Sticky stuff from being spilled. Dash dusty and grimy like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Has to go get climax wipes to wipe down myself. Returned early because I just couldn't get over how nasty the driving cabin was. Mr & Mrs. O did not speak or acknowledge me when I came to return. Showed no concern about my complaint. Said he would look out for the next person to use it. Will never use them or recommend anyone to this location.Charlene M.

1) The U-Haul self-service check-in system is a nice thought, but completely unworkable in practice. It is unbelievably slow, greater than 1 hour of completely wasted time, with an excess of ID documentation requirements. The web site crashed before one could upload any image of the truck and its mileage or gas level. The local staff was more useful and helpful, and 10 times faster than this pretense of a self-service system. 2) It is nice to be able to order a truck at a defined location, but a very bad customer experience that the actual delivery location at the last moment is changed for another location an additional 10 miles away. The fact that the check-in procedure is also changed to the unworkable self-service described above instead of what was ordered does not add any positive aspect to this. 3) I ordered furniture pads and a utility dolly with the truck. Neither were delivered. 4) The two 12 volt outlets on the dashboard of the truck were not functioning, the one in the glove compartment was.Soren Bo Krohn H.

The customer service rep seemed aggitated and was not customer friendly or helpful. When itvwas time to go outside to the truck he gave me the key and pointed that it was outside. I was unclear and had to ask him which truck and he pointed again, I then asked how I was supposed to identify the truck, he said the number is on it in an agitated manner. The customer service of the past is definitely gone in this country. It used to be standard practice to treat customers kindly; greet them; and generally show that you appreciate their business. The proprietor at this location has awful interpersonal skills and hospitality.Karen J.

I did Mobile check in and the check oil light was on in the truck. I put in an emergency roadside assistance request. Then a male staff member showed up at the location who was not respondingto my emergencyrequest. He saw I was in the truck and asked me what was wrong and I informed him about the check oil light. He told me the truck was fine to drive and that he already has service scheduled the Monday after I return the truck. Emergency roadside assistance called me an hour later while I was on the road, and they confirmed that it shouldn't be an issue. It was unnerving to drive the truck with the check oil light but luckily it was fine. However, there wasn't anything in the Mobile check in to account for anything like this.Maura F.

Make sure the equipment is in good working order. The drivers mirror was broken, and the check engine light was on. The owner was rude and said I didn't bring the gas back to the correct point. I did I even took a picture. He charged me an additional $14.00. You can tell he was use to over charging. I will NEVER go there again. I will never go there again.Delores B.

The location was a post office. I understand not being super excited to work, but I was asking questions and the employees there looked at me like I had 6 heads. I asked, what I thought, was a reasonable question and the woman paused, looked at me for a few seconds and said, he will help you, whilst lazily looking at the gentleman working with her. I work in retail as well and if a customer of mine received that kind of service, they would be furious and asking for a manager instantly. Do. Better.Robert H.
