Make sure they understand EVERY little detail of using a U-Box. Who is delivering it? Who is loading it? Who is unloading it? Where will it be stored? How far away from the unloading location is the U-Box located? U-Box is not always the answer in remote areas.

RANDALL SI am very unhappy with my experience as a first time Uhaul renter. It was not made clear to me that I needed to refill the gas that I used before renting. When reviewing the bill and seeing I was going to be charged $63 for driving 13 miles, I was astounded and tried calling customer service. I was put on hold and no one ever helped me. The gas station was closed and there was no employee to ask. Had I known I was going to be charged the exorbitant amount for fuel, I absolutely would have filled the tank to my pre-drive level. But by the time I checked it out, it was too late. I left a comment stating I didn’t understand the charge, was given no response, and got the full bill emailed to me with no explanation. Also, the directions I received from UHaul upon arrival were wrong, stating that the key would be in the back of the truck when they were actually inside the gas station in a lock box. Good thing the attendant was there then to help me find them then. After this experience, I will not be renting from Uhaul again.

I had tried to do a truckshare location first, but because reception was awful, they wasted an hour of my time before they told me I had to drive to Patriot Station to pick one up. Like I said, Patriot Station's service was perfect, but U-haul sucked.

TIMOTHY AJeff is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The other locations where I was supposed to pick up my equipment in Evansville really screwed up so I had to drive an hour away to get the truck planned for my move (that I had planned a month in advance). Jeff and this location were incredible.

KEVIN BFirst, the lady working there was awesome despite the fact she needed. More help. We had no issue with pick up. Second, our pick up was changed (again) to a different location which was not convenient for us to get too. This happened last time I we rented as well, so I’m assuming this is normal practice.

Michael PI recieved my Ubox on time and with plenty of furniture pads, more than enough. I did have issues with tracking my Ubox and it getting delivered on time. One day I was told that my Ubox was in San Diego, in route, and in Indiana via phone calls and emails. It was frustrating not knowing where my Ubox was and when to expect it's arrival to make arrangements with the moving company. There was also issues with recharging my card after the box had arrived. I recomend not refunding someone until the box is returned and to refund the difference not the whole thing. I do not know why the system did not want to charge me the adjusted ammount after having had been refunded the original ammount. If someones box is 10 days late, wait till it arrives and just reffund the 50 dollars a day it is late, total 500. I think that would be more effecient the refunding and then recharging. I will say that my experience with the staff of Uhaul was great! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I thouroughly apreciated the customer service. I even had one lady talk to the trasportation crew instead of patching me through. I thought that this was extremely nice becuase I did not have to give all my information again and go through the whole process over. She did all of the work and it was probably easier and faster this way. I wish I could have written her a review.

Robert BThis was not the location we were supposed to drop our truck. It was pre arranged to take our truck to the town we live in to a Uhaul rental place which was 1/2 mile from our house when we were done. When we got there we were told we couldn't leave the truck as this place at capacity. They were closed for the day and customer service couldn't do anything to help us other than direct us to take the truck over 20 miles over a 1/2 hour drive away for us one-way to drop it off. Very inconvenient and we were not happy customers. We were helped after the fact by an area representative who was very apologetic for all of your troubles. Uhaul really needs to get some continuity among its drop off / pickup places and stand behind what they say as far as that you can drop the truck or trailers at ANY location. We will probably never rent from them again.
Todd HI was not personally at this facility but worked with the staff by phone. Probably the most professional polite helpful friendly staff I have ever encountered! Can’t say enough about them!!
