I really suggest people to not use U-Haul. They are thinking that customers are fool. They show me fuel tank half at the time when I take. But I just ride 0.5 mile and it's straightforward go down to 1/4. Seriously, and most funny thik is that when I complaint it to staff they said complaint to customer service. When I call customer service they asked me to talk with staff. Whao great. They are asking me to break rules and take photo of fuel tank when it's go down. They are going to pay my ticket ????? WTF. This is my second and last time that I used U-HaulBHOOPENDRA R.

The location and service was good. But the truck itself was really bad quality. It felt like we had to put lot of pressure to run the truck or to bring it to any speed. The steering wheel was so bad. We literally could move the steering wheel while driving and nothing would happen to the truck. It would still drive straight. Extremely dangerous for us to drive. Very bad experience. It was very difficult to drive and be safe with this qualityAmrin S.

So bad experience, i booked the truck at 6.00pm, I waited 1 hour for truck(wasted my time). I got truck very late that made my moving so late. The owner of the house was yelling at me. It was policy that we get off if we get truck late. I didn't get any off, i called customer support 3 times for first 2 two times i was put on hold, the guys never come back. Read this from the writer's perspective. I pretty much exclusively rent the motorcycle trailer 3 or 4 times a year, usually only hour notice, odd hours. Break-downs and various roadside motorcycle stranding. SO quick/convenient access at odd hours holds the highest value to me and those I assist with their motorcycles. A $16 bike trailer, virtually anytime I need one, whenever I need one without any of the hassles, storage and maintenance of owning my own is beyond exceptional! A true no-brainer. Thanks guys and gals a the Petro-Can! I wish it was out of 10, I would leave a 9. Understand I don't know how much U-Haul actually does maintenance and upkeep on their trailers (bearings) but certain ques catch my eye. I took one star only because of this. Everything else 'U-Haul': is 5 star for me. Not just this rental but overall decade of occasional rentals. Location: the 24/7 Petrol Can also deserves all 5 stars! Again, understand it's a busy gas station / propane service / restaurant / convenient store / U-Haul rental ++. So you have to respect the fact there may be a wait. This is far out-weighed by their much longer hours than what U-Haul advertises, nearly 24/7. My biggest gripe is U-Haul website. Talk about PITA, having so many mouse-clicks saying NO to 6 or 7 separate ancillary sales pages. NO, I don't want to hire movers; NO, I don't need boxes; NO, I don't need tape; NO i don't need a storage unit; NO, I don't want to super-size my fries... OR need any of the other pages of stuff you force us all to click out of trying to sell. I'm in a hurry. It REALLY BOTHERS ME. It not only makes me suspicious of business practices but reduces my trust in the Contract we are agreeing too. It's shady and I deeply suggest you stop.Robert A.

First of all there should be someone to show the customer vehicle to confirm any prior damage or mess. Nobody show me vehicle, there was a pop cane before i rented. I bought two prime drinks from that place i drink, i threw them. I left the truck with the pop cabe that was before me and they charge me for cleaning fee. U haul or there authorized dealers should confirm the vehicle that is it clean or not. They just give me the vehicle with pop cane and then charge me the money to remove it which I didn't left. Just want to confirm that before handling the vehicle did someone checked the vehicle.Rajinder S.

The whole rental deal was a bit too much as I would not have known that when you pickup vehicle that I am suppose to link into some link sent via sms or email as I was under the impression that attendant would have taken care of that before leaving as I am not too tech savvy. I think people with less of an appetitude with the technology would have difficult time renting at the U haul just my experience, the attendant was helpful as to what I asked but I would not have known the whole checkout process and uploading pictures or others if there was a discrepancy with the pickup. I think there has to be a better process to checkout at UHaul or the process needs to be developed. DaveDave S.

My experience with the UHaul operator at Parkland Food Market was more than excellent. He was proficient and kind, and he gave me a full day of time to get my move done. The location was very convenient and had it's own Petro Canada gas station which made re-fueling very convenient. I received my 26 ft truck in very good order and precisely as advertised. I would absolutely go back to this UHaul location again.Lloyd M.

I ordered 6 blankets and a king-size mattress bag well inadvance of my moving day and got nothing but a bunch of meaningless 'sorrys'. My brand new bed is scratched and ruined forever because uhaul can't get their act together.Ally R.

Got the truck 3 hours after our requested time in a different city. Didn't have the blankets we requested, which caused damage due to not enough. The seal at the bottom of the door didn't work, water got in during the drive and caused damage. Overall the worst experience we could have gotten. Poor service doesn't begin to describe how bad it was.Brandon C.

They didn't have the truck I ordered, it smelt like barnyard animals and was filthy inside, I ordered 2 dollies, they didn't have them and no one contacted me to let me know that, when I picked it up I was told to go out back by myself (sketchy and dark), no one took me to the truck, I only knew it was the right one by trying the key in the lock.
