Very helpful, offered to upgrade my reservation. When the scheduled drop off was not available, we called and John, I think that was his name, took the info of the alternate location, looked it up to verify availability. Very good customer service.

Have truck clean. We had our pickup location changed last minute to a site 45 miles further away. We were VERY disappointed and upset, it put us in a bind with time to load the truck before our trip.

The trailers stabilizer arm, the one used to raise and lower the trailer into and off the hitch was not working all the time. It worked to raise into my hitch when I picked it up. I was told it has issues lowering without weight on it , which in itself is no big deal cause I only needed to unhook it from my truck while it was loaded. However , when I arrived to my destination, the raise and lower are didn't not work at all. I was unable to actually unhook it and drop it where I needed to because of this. Not the end of the world. But it should be put out of commission until repaired and another same size or bigger accommodation should be made. Or at the very least , a discount offered to move forward with the rental. My guess is that Uhaul knows that people are really in need of these trucks and trailers and are willing to take what they can get even if it's not functioning properly and this will not extend any kind of discount offers or other accommodations. But that's just my personal opinion. That being said. This is the second time I've dealt with this particular location in the last year and I've been very pleased with the service I've received from the man who runs that locations. Props to him. Thank you sir for answering all my many questions and making the whole process painless. I also want to add that this man did inquire about using a smaller trailer however, that just didn't work for me this time. Well done sir. Your a professional

The truck was absolutely nasty and dirty, very poor communication. The inside was absolutely disgusting, looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Super sticky looked like coffee or soda or something ALL over the place. I couldn't contact the business I got it from, because they wouldn't answer or return my calls. I called customer service to complain. I had to clean the truck myself, because I had to drive from SC to MI, it was something no one would want to be in. And the back of the truck smelt like fish/seafood.

The check tire light stayed on the whole time and the floor boards were sandy, just need to be swept out some. All in all though, a good rental.

Store closed before I arrived, Saturday afternoon, although I dropped off before my expiration time. I called three times to ask for a confirmation of my drop off and never received a call back. I had to ask a stranger for help in removing the trailer from my vehicle as I could not lift it over the ball by myself.there were no locations closer to Hilton Head, my destination point.

Couldn't have been easier. I called to confirm availability of a auto hauler. Gave my name and phone number and that was it. Reservation was done and confirmation sent to my phone. Called a few days later to modify pickup time, easy. Arrived for pickup. The hauler was attached and a new ball hitch attached for cheap. Friendly service and a super clean price of new equipment which made the 400 mile haul super easy.

There was no signage for after hours drops. While the online shows procedures, signs for customers would be nice to ensure the equipment is left is the right place both for safety and security.

Trailer was brand new, easy check-in and check-out. Un-related to this facility, finding a trailer was difficult and I was given bad information from the 800 #, which was rectified by speaking to someone at one of the U-haul facilities I called. If needed, will use U-Haul again

Had numerous problems with the U-Haul truck. Driving from SC towards Phoenix AZ, the check engine light turned on by the time we hit Jacksonville FL. Called uhaul support and because the truck was still running, was advised to get it fixed in Mobile AL. Truck was running rich, mpg went from 7.5mpg to 5 due to the mass airflow sensor not working. Then, on our stint from Houston to ElPaso TX, the check engine light, ABS and stability lights all lit up and we lost AC in the middle of West Texas deserts. Drove for 3 hours since we had no cell service to get the truck repaired. Stopped in El Paso and went to the service center - they told us that the check engine light wasn't an issue and that the ABS and Stability were only for emergencies and advised us to just “not brake”. A: if the check engine light wasn't an issue, how will we know if another fault code is thrown that is an issue? B: if the ABS and Stability are meant for emergencies, what do we do if we have one? Having the reservation moved to a further away location at the last minute was very inconvenient, especially considering we had to pay for the extra mileage and gas. Also, starting off with a full tank of gas rather than an almost empty tank would make it easier to pay for the actual amount of gas used vs trying to guess how much to put in. Or, the customer should get a credit for extra gas left in the tank. All these little things really add up!

Person in charge was very busy with numerous customers but worked quickly and told us he would take care of the refund of a cargo trailer that we returned for a 20 foot truck. I have to check my credit card to make sure it was done. We just moved and I haven't had time.

the attendant was all about taking care of me. Good clean trailer. When we turned in the trailer, we discovered the left tire was shot. Thread was coming off and the tire needed replaced. It was a good thing that we made it to Wichita. The tire would not have lasted another 50 miles according to the man we turned it into. The only negative was the SC attendant did not provide me with a copy of the contract. He said his printer was out of ink. I only had it on my smart phone.

Location had signs saying that one way drop offs were not allowed. Emergency numbers were usesless as the voice mail boxes were full and no one was answering.
