I had to change my one-way drop off location in Charlotte as the original location closed at 4pm and indicated that they did not have after hours drop off. I contacted Outbox Self Storage who were incredibly accommodating and able to change my reservation so I could drop off there. Very efficient and responsive.

Allan F.When I turned the vehicle in, I had replaced the fuel I used but when the agent checked the vehicle in, he recorded a lower fuel level than was actually there (I took a picture) and my final bill showed a charge for 2 gallons of gas. I called the store when I saw this but they refused to acknowledge the discrepancy and I didn't have time to drive back to the store. Left a bad taste in my mouth for UHaul.

Moving is very stressful, my first experience at this location was horrible, the guy was non-responsive to my concerns and stayed on his phone and the manager / owner I spoke with was even more none responsive. Danielle C.instead of walking me out to where my rental was, told me the number and basically go look for a needle in a haystack when I've got shit to do. Rental was parked so close to the other one I couldn't get in it. They had plenty of time to try to talk me into paying for more coverage but not enough time to just explain how the drop off situation goes down at johns auto world. There was no instruction anywhere on what to do for drop off.

Glenn C.I really appreciated the U-Haul employee meeting me in the parking lot and telling me to drop it anywhere. He even helped me when the hitch which was a bit stuck/tight. Having said that, he said the place was closed for the day (it was 11 a.m.) and he just came in to clean up and do some work. How odd is that a U-Haul business would be closed in middle of a business week? A company can lose customers that way. I've also had to return when a U-Haul drop off is closed And it was not an easy process. I was just thankful at least one person was on the premises.

It's extremely frustrating paying all that money to not have a clean truck and to for it to have no gas and have to fill up multiple times. Completely unacceptable.
