I had to change my one-way drop off location in Charlotte as the original location closed at 4pm and indicated that they did not have after hours drop off. I contacted Outbox Self Storage who were incredibly accommodating and able to change my reservation so I could drop off there. Very efficient and responsive.

When I turned the vehicle in, I had replaced the fuel I used but when the agent checked the vehicle in, he recorded a lower fuel level than was actually there (I took a picture) and my final bill showed a charge for 2 gallons of gas. I called the store when I saw this but they refused to acknowledge the discrepancy and I didn't have time to drive back to the store. Left a bad taste in my mouth for UHaul.

Brittany was very professional and customer focused. She got me in and out quickly and, answered my questions and concerns. I've came to this uhaul dealer bc it has easy access to the train. Moving is very stressful, my first experience at this location was horrible, the guy was non-responsive to my concerns and stayed on his phone and the manager / owner I spoke with was even more none responsive. Thanks Brittany, I highly recommend you.

The truck I was give had a completely empty tank and was basically told to figure it out myself.

instead of walking me out to where my rental was, told me the number and basically go look for a needle in a haystack when I've got shit to do. Rental was parked so close to the other one I couldn't get in it. They had plenty of time to try to talk me into paying for more coverage but not enough time to just explain how the drop off situation goes down at johns auto world. There was no instruction anywhere on what to do for drop off.

There were homeless people sleeping on the door step where I had to drop off my keys.

I really appreciated the U-Haul employee meeting me in the parking lot and telling me to drop it anywhere. He even helped me when the hitch which was a bit stuck/tight. Having said that, he said the place was closed for the day (it was 11 a.m.) and he just came in to clean up and do some work. How odd is that a U-Haul business would be closed in middle of a business week? A company can lose customers that way. I've also had to return when a U-Haul drop off is closed And it was not an easy process. I was just thankful at least one person was on the premises.

Easy to checkout and friendly and easy was what I needed after a long day moving

The cab was sticky and dirty, the truck had no gas, and the dolly and moving blankets were shoved into the cab and not in the back. It's extremely frustrating paying all that money to not have a clean truck and to for it to have no gas and have to fill up multiple times. Completely unacceptable.

Our drop-off time was 8am; however, this facility was not open. This information should have been noted on the original ticket/reservation. After waiting for half an hour, we contacted U Haul by phone and received assistance with the return of the truck.

Only complaint is that there was either dog hair or horse hair in the back of the cargo van when we rented. Would have been nice if that had been vacuumed or swept out before our rental started. Other than that, all was terrific.
