Sajan SI was told that my preferred location was not available, and was sent to Elmira, a 30 minute drive away. When I arrived, the truck there did not start, and so I was sent to a second location, 2 minutes from my house and right down the street from my preferred location. Why was I not sent here in the first place?

pankaj mI call the day before and was advised that they would be open to accept our return. There was only one person available to help and she did not know what to do for a returned unit. She could not leave the variety store to assist with the return documentation.

Jay POver charged ….I only drove 9km …estimated charge was 43$ for 20km ….but final charge was around 52$. Not recommended uhaul anymore. Very disappointed for the charge .

WILLIAM RThis is a variety store, there is only 1 staff, so I had to wait or customers had to wait while they dealt with the store or the trailer. Not enough room to move the rental vehicles around. When I returned the trailer there was a lady running the store who knew nothing about unhooking the trailer so I had to figure it out! Actually had to call my son to come and help me! This is not acceptable, they are supposed to hook everything up and disconnect upon return! This location either needs to have someone on staff at all times who knows how to deal with uhaul equipment or don’t offer the rentals. Ridiculous

viktoriya BThe location was pretty remote and difficult to get to by GRT. My total distance driven was 21km but at the end of the trip, when I was refuelling the van, it kept on taking the gas even after the fuel indicator was set to full. This way, I ended up paying for 10.3L of gas (in place of 3-4L that I actually consumed). When I asked for a partial refund, the store manager refused to do so.

Glenn MGive the trailer a little bit more cleaner, without the soil, as I had to move some furniture that got the feet dirt because of it. But the overall is pretty good, great customer support.

Rene AI was expected to park the rental in the right orientation and right location, which was little odd to me. As a consumer, I would expect UHaul to take care of that or at least don’t make it mandatory. I have no issues with that but with the fact that this location has very limited space to move around, it made little difficult for me to complete the job and eventually wasted a lot of time.

Aditya VThe truck was great, however the customer service upon drop off was horrendous. The man working at the time was not the very pleasant and helpful man that checked us in. After inspection of the truck and gas gauge was done, we were refused any paperwork saying everything was fine, and couldn't even get a total from him. His attitude was rude, condescending and out right ignorant. I definitely would never use this location again.

Qui PThe truck was nice and clean on the insides, however the exterior/windshield were not clean. I tried telling the location that the Air conditioning was not working on the truck. He didn't really seam to care. I also tried submitting this response in the uhaul return process but I don't think it was accepted. The gentlemen that checked me back in wasn't really into answering any of my questions so I left. Overall truck was acceptable, and I got what I needed to do done so that was great. I just wanted to inform Uhaul about the AC not working. Would not be great on a long drive or stuck in traffic on a hot day like I was. Thank you!

Ferhad MThough we had MANY problems with our truck/experience, none of it was because of the person working at Ottawa Mart. He was quick, exceptionally courteous, and great. But we ordered two dollies, which weren't at the location, the truck itself didn't have working AC, speakers were broken. I called Charles St location to have them provide free dollies and they were NOT friendly for customer service sake. Though that's where my original rental was, knowing they would have dollies.
