When returning the uhaul the website to do the return would not load ðŸ˜' super frustrating I tried pulling it up on two different phones and still nothing. Now I have to pay the $20 convenience fee because we couldn't finish the return process.JENIFER B.

We turned in the trailer on a Sunday (after driving an hour to get there and it's over a mountain pass) since Omak, WA is the closest return for Winthrop WA. We knew the location was closed and had planned on using the mobile app to complete the check-in process. Using the mobile app was a horrible experience and I'm fairly experience phone developer. The Android app requires access that the installer should have set (or asked about). Location was not enabled, photos not enabled, ... I had nothing but problems and I'm using the latest version on Android. I was unable to attach pictures and finally gave up. I also tried your web site for turn in and had similar problems. Basically you require either of these for after hours check in or you charge a fee. After an hour I gave up and called the 800 # to complain. I was surprised (and relieved) to hear that I could do this over the phone. Overall this was a very poor experience, Not happy about it. During the process someone in a truck drove up to let us know the place was closed. I said yes I knew that and was struggling with the check in process. He said his daughter owned the place. Then he drove (disappeared) into the parking lot. We left about 20 minutes later (after phoning the 800 number). 10 minutes after we left we drove by again and discover that the trailer had been moved. Wow - it would have been nice if he would have helped...Randy S.

We reserved a 26 ft cargo mover 2 weeks in advance. 2 days before we were to pick it up we were told we would have to drive 116 miles from the original pickup spot to get it. I don't see the reason for reserving when you may have to drive halfway across a state to pick up your vehicle.Harold A.

This local rental was great. The National/Regional stinks. Reserved a trailer a month ahead specific size for a one way 900mile move. The day before got a call that my â€œreservedâ€ trailer is 3.5 hours one way from my local store. They failed the concept of reservation. My local store had a smaller trailer that I made work but had to leave a few things. Don't trust the reservation system.MICHAEL LEE T.

I don't have any feedback for this location, however similar to my last experience with U-Haul, I'm very upset with the reservation system. I called 24 hours before pick up to reverify that everything was confirmed. After waiting 12 minutes on hold, I finally got confirmation. I got a phone call a couple hours later, but no voicemail was left. I was off the grid, so I was unable to call again to reconfirm a second time. I did however on the way to pick up the equipment double check my online account to verify the pick up location. When I arrived at the location, I was told my equipment Was at a different location 2 miles away. I have no idea why every time I work with U-Haul they change the locations at the last minute. It also bothers me that they don't leave detailed voicemails, or simply set an alert on your account that there's been a change, please contact us immediately. Or simply would like to request that you pick up at an alternative location. It was pretty stupid to not provide any details, especially after I just spoke with them less than an hour or two earlier. I seriously doubt I will use U-Haul in the future.Steven P.
I made a reservation a couple days before the actual rental, and when I picked up the equipment, the price I was quoted was higher than what I thought it would be when I made the reservation because of the optional insurance. The insurance was optional, but there was a moment when i was confused by the difference in price from the reservation pricing to the amount I eventually agreed to pay.RALPH SIDNEY M.

I reserved a trailer a whole month in advance to make sure I would have it to move. The day came to pick it up and they didn't have one and wanted me to drive 60 miles to pick it up. Or they would get it and charge me an additional $60.00. I was livid. I am 82 yrs young and had to hire people to load and drive. All my planning meant nothing. I was near tears. The trailer was rented out to us with no left turn or brake lights working!! Only the right side. They first tried to tell us that it was our truck connection, but our wiring was tested out fine!!!! Make the barcode work. It took me at least an hour and a half to pick up that truck after hours. Also, don't rent out a pickup that is so brand new that the poor schmuck who rented it before me apparently was dinged for a 3-quarter inch scratch in the truck bed liner that is there to protect the truck bed. By the time I was inspecting it and saw that that was the situation it was too late to return it . All I could put in it was a wall picture wrapped in a blanket and tires wrapped In plastic because I was so terrified that I might scratch the truck bed like the other schmuck did and get charged for it! So the two days I paid for were essentially useless to me for hauling things I rented it for, to donate or to dump or to bring back a load of my belongings. I have never had an experience in the numerous times I have rented a vehicle from U-Haul or from some other company. I'm really disappointedCAROLBELLE B.

Be more clear about what part of thr truck is to be cleaned. I rented a bick up truck, every thing about cleaning was directed to the cab of the truck. There were a few leavea in the bed and i was charged.danielle H.

The uhaul site in Shelton,Wa tried to charge my daughter $350 a day for the same auto hauler and so I had to put extra miles on the trailer to get the job done, an extra 300 or so miles on the trailer and my truck. Felt like price gouging, you should look into that!TRACY O.

The female employee was very polite and professional. however the man that was there working was very rude and told me that I would have to leave the business if I didn't have a mask on my face I tried to explain that I am asthmatic and it is advised I not wear a mask he said he did not care and that they would refuse to work with me if I didn't put one on. I needed to run the equipment so I had to put a mask on but I feel very degraded as a customer and a person that he would put my health and life at risk.ABRAHAM B.

Only negative overall was the telephone contacts. Representative I spoke with was argumentative and not really customer friendly. Also, the long wait to reach a representative was certainly another negative. After the conversation, I remarked to a friend that I'd likely never use Uhaul again. This was mitigated by the fast, friendly service I received in person at the Omak location,John L.

Your records are wrong. The actual pick up location was 826 clack street in Abilene to. I was treated like garbage by uhaul customer service, clack location and the omak location. There is not enough room here to really go into it. All three have to be ashamed of themselves!!!!ella K.

Contract was supposed to be a 3 day rental picked up 5/23. Called Uhaul on 5/24 to ask about store hours for our drop off, and were told the trailer was due 5/24 by 2pm. Advised clerk we had a 3 day rental and was advised yes, we in fact did, and trailer was due back 5/25 by 2pm, which we thought was odd. Inquired about an extension and were told no - unit already rented to someone else and nothing the clerk could do or we would be fined overuse charge and encroachment on another customer rental so we rushed to get loaded/moved/unloaded only to find out at return we were over 24 hours early - trailer not due until 5/26 @ 2pm. We were deprived an entire 24+ hours of loading & moving time which will now require multiple additional trips @ 8 hours ONE way.James W.

Same as pickup. I requested to drop off the trailer in Tonasket, where I live and had to take it 25 miles down the road to Omak to drop it off. We have a uhaul business in Tonasket and I requested it when I made the reservation and it was confirmed. Then the drop off was changed to Omak and had to change plans.Brian E.

The omak location is awesome! Michael is friendly and helpful! Your mobile return app needs work. It kept giving me an error when I tried to use it after the location had closed. I went back down the next morning before the return time and Michael took excellent care of me.Kathryn P.
