Store was not open as stated online. Had to drop off trailer then make several calls to ensure that U-Haul was aware that I had returned the trailer. In addition there were no stores open Saturday afternoon or Sunday to return trailer.

Convenience store and gas station. Had to push trailer into spot through snow-covered parking lot.

William HHaving to use the phone app to turn in truck was not expected. Older customers do not have smartphone to do this. I was very aggravate with 20 minute turn in process after a long day of moving.
Brent TI had several issues with my uhaul rental starting with the original location not having a Uhaul for me after booking a reservation. Then I was told I would have to drive 30 miles away to pick one up, and I was told to be there by 9, when I got to the pick up location, I found out that they did not open until 11. Uhaul did remedy the issues by discounting it, but it still put me massively behind schedule.

Bob QThere is not a Uhaul facility in Wilkesboro or North Wilkesboro. There are several so called drop off locations that no one is at. We finally found this location and the store manager helped us turn in the truck.

Debra TThis is basically a convenience store and the person in charge had to lock up the store while he inspected the truck then asked me to unload the dolly and blankets and bring them into the store so he could count the blankets. Really odd u-haul experience. I rent with u-haul from time to time and I've never had to do that before when returning a rental.
DANIEL PHad previously reserved a unit online for a different location. When I got into town to pick it up the location was closed even though online said it was open that day. I called and spoke to the location operator and he said they were closed and the online Info was wrong. This was very inconvenient.

Kate PUHaul, The rental vehicle steering was broken so it pulled hard to the right. The headlights did not point straight. The vehicle was dirty, even the ashtray was full of cigarette butts. When I returned the truck I was charged for cleaning and repair. I disputed the charge and spoke to 788002_AFM@uhaul.com. I explained to the extremely rude english accented man on the phone, that I was not responsible for the alleged dirty condition of the vehicle or any damages. I explained to him that I never smoked cigarettes in my life and there is no way I could have brought "red mud" into the vehicle and that I return the vehicle 3 days before the rental period was over. He told me I should have checked the vehicle before I took it. It was an unexpectedly, uneassarly mean, conversation. I took it as by this UHaul's employees rational, I'm supposed to check the mechanics and even the ashtray before I rent a Uhaul vehicle. If your company can't provide a safe and clean vehicles is one thing, but blatantly charging your customers for it is another. I called my credit card company and they agreed with the injustice of the situation and reversed the charges straight away. However, in my mail today, is a threatening demand for this charge. Look at my story Uhaul, is this the type of company you are? Putting your customers thought this, just to rent a truck. Your a horrible company, and I will avoid you at all costs. Gregg FWhen you give a location of where to pick up the equipment, make sure the equipment is at that location. Having to drive 2 hours out of the way to get the equipment that you ordered is bullcrap.

Hannah BWhen I pickup they told me one thing but when dropping off I was told different. Everyone should be on one accord. I feel y'all should have gas tank on full so there will be NO CONFUSION. And when I call to speak with someone twice I still haven't gotten a call back on this matter. I feel I need to be reimbursed because things weren't told to me right. I'm still waiting for a call. Diane WTruck was filthy, we had issues from picking up the rented equipment and it was even worse when it came time to pay. They were trying to charge me over $800 and it took over an hour to get right and then we still ended up paying more than we should have.
Barton BUhaul Corporate had screwed up my p/u location. The guy at this location smoothed the transaction quickly and was a quality customer service pro, unlike most of the people at u haul
Christopher JNo one was there until 11 am. Also there was NO DROP OFF BOX For the keys to do auto check-in return. On top of that, the online application wouldn't let me check out, so that even though I got there before the deadline, it wound up charging me extra (I assume for late return) even though I was there. I had to come back multiple times to have someone there to leave the keys which caused me to run late for other events I had scheduled related to the move. When I asked where the key drop box was, it was said I could have left them under the seat (REALLY??), not going to do that and be responsible for theft of a truck....

jason cStore clerk had me move the returning vehicle several times, argued with me and said I was late- was not due till Saturday I returned Friday 4:00pm. Argued as I had brought back a hair below 1/2 tank as that was where it was when I rented. Clerk was a total pain. Since this was a gas station he wanted me to fill up to 1/2 tank
Lewis MDrop-off was listed as 24hr and closed at 9PM. BUT, when I got there at 8:10PM, the store was closed and there was NO 24hr key drop box. Called the gas station manager that night, but no answer and called him back the next day to explain what I did done and why. He was not friendly, nor was he professional, nor was he helpful. He was mad because I locked the keys in the (very expensive) truck and is charging me for a lock smith. Note that there were NO instructions for drop off located anywhere at the store, no after hours phone to call, no note to say what to do with keys. Will never use this location again! Please update your Uhaul listing to correct time and drop off.

Yvonne HIt was not the locations fault but we had a wrong address for this trip and when we called the uhaul customer service we were not allowed to change drop off point even though it was only a little after we left. So have to pay for 80 extra miles. We do this weekly but may try someone more willing to work with us
