The interior of trailer was unacceptable. The wall bumpers were hanging off, which is not only tacky for someone having spent $500 to use it, but now furniture will be damaged. I was NOT happy with the condition. Even the Uhaul representative stated that it was in poor condition when seeing the interior.rebecca B.

The windows were quite dirty. Check in was weird; a man held out his hand without a word. He then said could I have the keys. I said of course. He then checked back of truck (inside) and milage. He said go inside for receipt, there is a secretary inside. Went inside and no one was there. The man eventually came in and had trouble with printer, finally got my receipt. The man said now you have 2 receipts. One emailed and this one. Should her more communication with his customer. Check in was fast, efficient and had all information I needed.rickey W.
Truck had a dead battery. It was jump started prior to turning over to me. After I filled the fuel tank 5 minutes later, I was initially unable to start. I called the pick-up location and was told They were not responsible, and I needed to call the 1-800 help number. I had to use jumper cables to get moving again. Finally called the 1-800 help line and a new battery was installed 3.5 hours later. The rest of our move was fine.David W.

The truck I rented was clean on the inside and outside. However, The staff never did a walk around with me to confirm any previous damages. This is concerning cause I could have been held liable for whatever they possibly claimed I broke. The engine sounded as if it was going to break as soon as I started it up. It had this high pitch squeezing sound coming from it. The brakes seems a bit worn. The wipers were torn and falling off, in the middle of snowy Colorado. The checkout and return was a bit frustrating. When I booked the truck, I did so online. With contactless pickup. However, when I arrived the app would not let me select â€œpick upon my truckâ€. So I headed back inside. Once there and speaking to the lady, my price changed. Online it said I would owe 192 dollars. However, I think she booked me a new reservation, and I ended up contracting the truck for almost 250 dollars. I'm not sure how that happens. But I needed the truck so I rented it anyways. Fortunately, I was able to bring it back early and save some money, but it reduced my moving time available in half to be able to save some money. I don't know if price changes are common practice with uHaul, but I was not very satisfied with this transaction at all.Alex S.

Prices are a bit ridiculous. Reduce the price per mile down to 40 cents or so it would be a lot more affective. If I didn't have to move so much stuff I would of rented a trailer from Home Depot.JONATHAN G.
Had an issue with the check in. I just changed my last name and UHAUL would not accept my digital ID even though it is the same DL number, and issued by the state. If the TSA will accept it as a valid ID, there's no reason UHAUL can't as well. Had to transfer it to my wife and delayed us by almost an hour. Also I'm very certain I reserved a 17' truck but got a 15' truck instead. Had to make an extra trip which I wasn't thrilled about. Overall, not super happy about the whole thing.Jonathan L.

My 26' truck was not available, I was offered a 20' which was too small. I had to drive many miles out of my way to get a 26' truck. The empty truck bounced me violently down the highway until I got back home and was able to load it.Mark A.

The wrong key was put into the box I was given a code to. I had to sit on a waiting list to talk to a person to help. The person on the phone was helpful and quickly got me unto the right box with the key to what u rented, but the overall experience cost me an hour of rental time.Niccolo G.

Upon pickup my location was changed to Olivia Auto Sales in order to have assistance removing the trailer. When I arrived I went in and asked for assistance and the lady told me that she would have someone come out to help. The man that came out didn't even greet us, he actually came out with another set of customers that were after me and serviced them first. He asked us what was going on and I expressed to him that we were waiting for assistance to remove the tow and car. He asked who my cousin was and why he didn't do it himself? I explained to him that I was told to come here for assistance. He stated that he doesn't like to get dirty and won't do it for free. That was never my expectations for him to do it for free I had no issues paying for the help. He stated that he will tell us how to to take it off, which he did and assisted a little bit. He really could of just started of the encounter with us a completely different way with a different attitude. I understand that this lot is a used car sales lot but if you are going to be a retailer for Uhaul I would think you expect from time to time people needing help with their tows or vans. If assisting with the removals is something that he doesn't want to do he should just remove it from the services provided so customers know ahead of time. Just overall bad vibe and energy. Location was fine, but the ride share app wouldn't work. Thank God an employee showed up for other reasons and was kind enough to take care of me. I was offered help to connect the heavy 6x12 cargo trailer, but upon returning the trailer, I had zero offer of help to disconnect the heavy trailer from my truck. Trying to pick that trailer up off that ball was much heavier than anything I had moved. These trailers need jacks on the front of them if customers are supposed to connect/disconnect them.MICHAEL M.
