Rebecca K | ReservationThe truck had pet hair in the vehicle. Lots. I am very allergic and had an allergic reaction and couldn't figure out why until we saw tons of pet hair in-between the seats. There was also trash in the vehicle. I called immediately about 15- 20 minutes after we picked up the truck. I was told nothing could be done until we turn in the truck. My husband vacuumed, cleaned, and wiped down the entire vehicle. We should have received a clean and safe vehicle. We did not. I let them know we expect the company to address this asap. We paid over 1200 for this vehicle. When we rent a vehicle, the vehicle should be clean and safe before passing to another customer. The account will reflect two notations from customer service reps documenting the complaint and concern on 11/18/2023 right after pick up. My rental was also moved to Flushing and we were promised $100 off but did not receive that last I checked.
Najla SLeft my items in a non climate controlled unit for a month without issue/damage. Very happy with the ease of the process. Friendly/helpful staff. Absolutely would do business again here if the chance arises.

Chris TReturning the truck was a pain. The gate was lock, we were not given a code to enter the gate. After 35 minutes of waiting trying to figure it out and talking to a rep, the person who runs the location came home. I understand he can't be there 24/7. But we should have been told where to leave the truck if we couldn't get into the gate. The Uhaul rep told us to leave it to the left of the building. That was for another company and they had it fenced off. I was not happy with UHaul at all

STEVEN LThe manager is fantastic--friendly, helpful, and efficient. Just a good person. And his furry children enhance the overall positive experience. My only negative comment is about location. The facility is very remote and for that reason feels unsafe, especially in the evening. I felt fine when the manager was in...much less so when he was not on site.
