I was in the parking lot filling the truck at the return location at 707pm. The return time was 700pm. I was charged for another days insurance, a fuel charge then a partial day. How is that ok? I understand that people take advantage, but this independent owner is a rip off and is severely damaging UHauls reputation. I will NEVER use him again. My fee should have been about 170.00 and I was charged way over!!! As if moving isn't enough stress!!Wendy H.

I'm disappointed in the management and people who make the policy. I reserved and was guaranteed a truck of a specific size. It was not there due to no fault of the staff on site. Autumn went above and beyond to find me a truck. However it was larger than what I needed so I got to enjoy an increased price, gas costs, stress from a larger truck, and the annoyance of waiting two hours for the truck to even arrive. This WAS NOT THE STAFFS FAULT. This is a complete failure on the part of those who make the policy, don't overbook. I know the people making the big money will never read this message and they couldn't care less. The icing on the cake was the self check in asking me to pay an additional cleaning fee...are you kidding me? I literally cleaned the truck it was CLEANER THAN WHEN I GOT IT. I declined to pay that fee. To whoever reads this provided you aren't the person who makes the policy I hope you have a lovely day. If you are the person who makes the policy I hope it burns every time you pee until you change your policy. I copied and pasted from the first message as I don't care to reiterate myself.Lauren W.

I rented a tow dolly. Staff was great, pleasure to deal with them. Tires on tow dolly were bald on the inside and driver's side tire was into the secondary rubber before I took it. Left tail light was not functional as well. Upon return, the tire was showing cords on the inside. Other than that, tow dolly was in great shape, I put white lithium grease on the ratcheting mechanisms to make them easier to use. I would not hesitate to use this location again.Nathan S.

There was only one employee at this location. She and I had to lift the uhaul onto the ball of truck. If there was a Jack she didn't offer it. She was very helpful but shouldn't have been alone to do this.Patricia R.

This was my alternative drop-off location. The original location was closed when I arrived. The U-Haul app was difficult to navigate but at least it listed the 'other' store in Winchester. The gas station only had one employee who had to handle gas and convenience-store customers in addition to my U-Haul drop. That employee was not having a good day when I arrived. Maybe pull the rentals closer to the store when expecting pickup. I had to walk to a back corner to inspect the vehicle. The parking area was covered in broken glass and sketchy people hanging out around itJOHN N.

I told the clerk I was returning the vehicle a day early, & his only response was, "Ok, I just need to have the key.". A gas station attendant is no customer service representative. I brought the vehicle back early, w/ an additional 1/4 tank of gas & no refund????Rebecca E.

They advertise 39.99 a day i had the truck just 24 hours and drove 20 miles and my bill was $200Brenda W.
The rep claimed the gas was half Guillermo. It was not. It was 3/8 full. I returned it back a full quarter over half and I didn't get any credit for the overage. I was told no credit for the gas it just there for the next customer. That's not right.KimK D.
The truck that I rented I didn't realize until after started loading my furniture up it started raining really hard and the truck leaked water all over my furniture from the roof of the truck. That truck should be taken out of the inventory because it leaks all over peoples furniture everything was wet All the boxes were wet from the Florida truck and the furniture from it leaking. And then after returning the truck the clerk could not even walk out to verify mileage until after I left so there's no way to know if you're being billed fairly. Not a good practice if I could help it I would not rent from this location again And I hope my furniture is not destroyedcharles C.

It has nothing to do with this location. The entire uhaul experience was horrible. The first time I went to pick the truck up the employee just left and wasn't available for us to pick the truck up and we had to get down graded to a smaller truck. We had to make double the trips and when I was told I'd get a discount I called the number I was given 888-489-3901 and the woman was un professional and rude and said I didn't deserve any special treatment even though your employee was responsible for the down grade and due to the smaller truck and time frame we were under we were held hostage to any fees you guys chose to give me. I will use every one of my 100k followers to steer people away from uhaul unless they make this right. This was the worst experience ever.Terry M.
