MARK BI frequently use UHaul and am satisfied. This whole experience was bad. Twice I had online confirmations for vans and trucks for this past weekend. Twice I received calls that there were no vehicles because of the busy weekend. Then I finally had to take a truck at an old gas station 30 miles from where I live. The gas station attendant could not get in to the system. Claimed the whole UHaul website was down. I had to wait 45 minutes for the manager to get it working. Another customer behind me also waited 30 minutes and was very upset. Then I was charged for the extra 60 miles because of the location. I was 16 minutes late and was charged an extra day after I waited 45 minutes at the beginning and had to drive all over. Overall terrible experience.

Brett DApparently the truck needed to be swept and we were provided the smallest broom and dust pan ever created to do so for the 26' truck. The customer service at this location was poor as well with attitude we received from staff. 10/10 do not recommend this place.

Antony TI tried to use app but despite repeatedly sharing location it would not confirm the location and forced me to check-in inside with the clerk. The truck was clean and seats were comfortable but the Air Conditioning and vent fans did not work. It seemed that maybe there was little fan activity only when going down hill.

Ronald DThe location is basically a gas station. There was just one person working there and everytime another client was purchasing anything, he had to interrupt with me. Otherwise he was super friendly. Nobody really showed us the basics and we had to figure everything out. It was raining and it was hard to do a proper inspection of the vehicle.

Donald VWhile returning the truck employee was very rude. He made me refill 4 gallons in the truck even though truck was only used for 8 miles.
Naveen RProcess was good, value for the money was very good. The van was clean. However, the vehicle had shot shocks/struts and the side mirror control was not working, both of which are safety issues. Also, I would not recommend the GMC van because the locking mechanism was terrible - I had problems locking all the doors and found it very easy to accidentally lock yourself out of the van. Accelerator was very touchy. Poor design. I was nervous driving this vehicle.
Douglas PI was very disappointed in that your reservation system made me drop off the truck 15 miles away in another town called Moultonborough when there is a drop off in my town of Meredith a mile from my house. Even more disappointing is that I had to pay extra for miles as a result

STEPHEN SRaj was a jerk and yelled at me for not removing the moving blankets even though I was told by two different uhaul reps I was supposed to leave them folded in the back of the truck, which they were. Unnecessary for this dude to be yelling at me at 7pm on a Sunday for following uhaul directions.

Samarth cUnfortunately, the individual at the mobil (who I think was the owner) is very disorganized, and a liar. I modified my U-Haul reservation and did so by talking to a representative on the phone the day before. She informed me that I needed to pick up from the mobil in Northborough, but return it to the original location (also in Northborough). When I picked up the U-Haul, that is what the gentleman explain to me. In fact, we had a lengthy conversation about how he could not modify it and then I would have to return it to the other location. Imagine my surprise when I returned it to the other location and they told me I needed to go back to the Mobil. I explained that was not the case. Did you know that your customer contracts do not have the drop off location listed? Fun fact. So instead, the U-Haul I was that called the Mobil. This is where the lying gets into the story. He told them he was unaware of a different location to drop it off. He could've solved my problem I just told the truth. Instead, I was forced to waste 30 minutes of my life taking it back to the original location. Once confronted by me, he admitted that he had made a mistake. When I asked why he did not just make my life easier by telling the other U-Haul location to waive the one-way fee, he did not reply. Then he wanted to charge me for the extra miles driven between both locations. Luckily, I had taken a photo when I dropped it off at the first location. I told him that that was the mileage he was going to charge me for because I was not going to be charged for my time wasted, figuring this thing out at another U-Haul dealer, and then driving 20 minutes to his facility. He agreed, and while it's not a lot of mileage, you can see a credit that was given back to me a six dollars. I don't understand why he had to lie, but he did. And that's why the rating is below average. It just shouldn't be so hard for the consumer. I did as I was told by both the representative on the phone and the Mobil employee in the morning. And then I have to pay the price for disorganization.
Amy NExtremely upset at how they charged me for many things I told them I did not want. Gave me furniture pads and dolleys I didn't ask for and he brought them all the truck after saying not to add them to my order. Then he added them without telling me to my contract.

Sarah AOverall it was a pleasant experience my only complaint was on the morning of the reservation I entered all of my information into the uhaul app. Once I got to the location it asked for the same information picture of my license and a selfie I did that but the next thing I knew it said your reservation was under review because it didn't approve the pictures I submitted I went into the location and they were able to help me with the reservation with then using their iPad
Jonathan SI have an open complaint and investigation with being charged for fuel I never used. I picked up the truck, with 3/4 full tank. Returned it with the same, and was charged 6 gallons of gas but only drove a total of 26 miles. The person assisting named Raj was extremely rude and disrespectful. I do think this was intentional, when I called back to the store I was yelled at and hung up on. I expect to be refunded for the fuel, but this place needs to be checked by corporate. The truck was also dirty when I received it, with broken ceramic, fake flowers and marbles. Raj almost slipped on a marble when he was lifted the back and placed the dolly on the truck. Ironically when I dropped it he off he tried to imply these things were mine and told me to clean it. I reminded him of what was on it, he told me so many people use the truck it's hard to keep track. I will NEVER use this location again.

daniel bI booked a furniture dolly (the square platform one) but only appliance dolly was available and I had no option but to take it. I booked a day advance to avoid such situation

Laura Phad to clean the steering wheel and arm rests, air conditioning did not work, little to no air movement from the vents, losy several hours dealing with service to get the items addressed, the issues were not resolved, ended up driving about 10 hours in 90 degree heat with the windows open driving 65 mph, i cant imagine why i would use uhaul ever again

James KMy pick up location was moved 3 times, the last change being made on the day of my moving. I went to the location in Westborough ( 40 Bearfoot road ) and the manager there was really rude. Afterwards, I went to the location at 7 Belmont st… my pick up was scheduled for 11:00 am, I packed up the truck almost 1 pm… the guy helping us was trying to multitask between the gas station customers and us… he ended up giving up my truck to the couple in front of me and had to call Uhal to ask for more trucks… I ended up getting a smaller vehicle ( the $29,90 one ) while paying for a bigger one ( $39,99 ). Terrible customer experience!!!
