I will never pickup at a location without someone to help. We almost couldn't get the lock off. Too a lot of time taking pics of scratches on the truck. The check gas cap light was on even after us reseeding it 3 X. Check engine light was on. Called service center and they said it should be fine since it was a local trip or I could pick up another one at a different location. Already spent an hour getting this one. Everything was just too time consuming.Sue T.

Get your damn online check-in app running correctly. There was nobody on site to get help from and your customer service number was useless, since I had to hang up after sitting on hold for 30 minutes. When I contacted the owner of the store where your lot was located through Facebook Messenger she started out pleasant, but when I expressed my dissatisfaction she became very nasty. She probably was justified in her nastiness to me because she shouldn't have to deal with the U-haul crap via her personal Business' Facebook page on her personal time. However, if she's going to accept responsibility for having you on her lot then either she needs to have better customer service skills and not threaten to abandon customers, or you guys need to provide a better, more expedient way to contact your own customer service directly when things go wrong! In all fairness to the onsite business owner, it sounds like the latter is the more appropriate fix.Jeff A.

I loved the overall experience, the people, flexibility in that I showed a bit early. I also was given great advice early on and were very impressed with the overall service. Better maintained vehicles and more professional management; vehicle was very poorly maintained and dry rotted/engine was in very poor condition, causing vehicle to struggle greatly even with no cargo in tow. Management was incredibly rude and unprofessional in handling a situation in which I had accidentally grabbed an extra key (they had kept a single key to a separate vehicle in the same small lockbox as the one containing those I needed, causing me to assume it belonged to the vehicle I was renting due to the instructions saying my keys would be in a designated lockbox). Very aggressive with poor communication and poorly maintained vehicles. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for service.Jacob T.

By not giving a truck that had over 95,000 miles on it, poorly maintained to travel almost 1000 miles. I was by myself and didn't even get halfway and it broke down. It took over 10 hour's to get back in another truck. I was so upset, having to be outside in freezing cold, rain all day. They only offered me a 100.00 refund. Pathetic!! In the 3 time's I have tented trucks there were always problems. Would NOT recommend using this company!!CANDY S.

When going over the contract this individual re-did the whole contract. I had selected a location near me that was not the closest because I knew the location. When reviewing the contract the individual at the Milford location re-did the drop off. I dropped off the truck with 5 minutes to spare after discovering the issue.David C.

To be fair ... this was a backup location as my primary backed out of the reservation just before pickup even though I reserved the truck online well in advance. The entrance to rental area was not obvious. The truck had to be swept out before use. The staff was friendly.GLENN H.
Picking up was a fiasco given I was late but not made aware of 1hr pick up window. First, you need to make the short pick up window known. Second, you could at least make one attempt at checking with late pick up if they are just running late & still want rental.Kevin M.

truck had items including trash in the cab. Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. back of truck needed to be swept with shop vac once I get it home prior to packing. Original order was for 439 Main St Milford, Oh. I made the reservation in person the week prior in person. upon arrival on May 29th I was told I needed to pickup at another location. Drive 15 minutes up the street. It's a kids clothes resale shop. It's the girls first day but the manager is there to assist. Their computers are up and down but finally gets me set. Truck is dirty in cab and in back area. I don't care at this point because I am already an hour behind schedule. Did I mention it begins to rain on my way out of the lot? Would'nt recommend Milford or resale shop if you need to get in and out quickly.John W.

Was not our original choice for location, adding miles and time to the day. Size of truck was changed last minute - while we got a bigger truck it was not what we ordered. Truck had lots of damage, rough ride. Told us it had half tank, which it did not. We took pics of all damage and gas gauge. Not sure the point of reserving a truck at a location if the truck and location are then changed. People at pickup were friendly but took awhile to check out due to training a new person, even though we had done the precheckin.Linda M.

The lady that works at newborn teen was very helpful and nice! We were supposed to do mobile check in but the website was down for scheduled maintenance at 4:15pm!! So we called the 1-800 number and they told us to wait for 10-15 minutes and try again. It was a joke! We have tried mobile check in twice and it has never worked. U-haul needs to get this fixed! We will be looking for rent a truck from some other plance next time. We have used uhaul 3 times and each time there have been significant problems causing major delays!James H.
