The truck, itself, while clean and functional, was quite old and missing connectivity options like Bluetooth and USB charging that newer trucks in your fleet have.Philip T.

I returned the truck the same day I rented it. The location was busy and the gentleman said I could leave the key and he would take a picture of the mileage, take care of the furn. Dolly, and appliance dolly and I would get an email. Almost a week went by, nothing. I stopped in th location and asked about it and 2 women were very helpful. The exterior of the truck was in good condition and the storage portion of the truck was clean with folded blankets. The interior of the cab wasn't cleaned/inspected. We were shocked to find a condom in the cup holder! The girls in the rental office gave us major attitude and were far from apologetic, one even said â€˜we know what we're doing'! Up until we got into the truck, we were impressed with that location.Valerie L.
. This comment is my experience with the location, staff, and truck was wonderful. My problem actually is with corporate U-Haul. The ONLINE paperwork for checking truck damage and being liable for damage is horrendous for people that are disabled! THERE NEEDS TO BE A SECOND OPTION!!!!!!! (Paper) I am disabled and with that have some challenges, especially with computers and scrolling, blowing up images,etc. . Having to go onto the computer or phone, try and blow up the image and mark my damage was horrendous. . I had a migraine that day, and I was unable to do that. I asked UHAUL rep if there was another option and was told that this is the way U-Haul's procedure is. You cannot even see the dents or scratches on your phone, when you blow up the image!!!. The images are so far away and UHAL gets the whole truck )in the pictureâ€¦which makes it difficult for the client to REALLY see the actual dents and scratches. THIS, in return makes client more liable for damage and causes unnecessary frustration for the client because you're not sure if the company already has it in computer . You have no previous information to compare your damage or staff to verify and to visibility agree that there is damage and indicate it on a report. The staff is no longer going around the truck with you do to this online report. iNow, I am liable. This is time wasted on the actual client who needs to move , This problem affects others as well as it causes congestion in your local UHAUL parking lot. I understand the concept because it's easier for your company. We can upload pictures to help you so that you could mark the truck and upload new videos to make it easier for the your company. Great concept. However, UHaul does/did not consider the disabled. It was nerve-racking for someone that is disabled, I am glad somebody else was able to help me in the parking lot with the online paperwork as there was no other option. I just wanted to mention this as it truly was on my heart. IlPreviouly, I was the Budget truck manager in Delaware . Perhaps , I am an advocate now with my own challenges and just want to help others with disabilities . I look forward to seeing some changes in your policy so that when I get another truck in approximately 2-3weeks, it will be better!!Christina J.

When returning after hours I parked the van outside of the security fence. Maybe a designated space with a clear sign indicating it. Other than that, office staff was AWESOME especially when I had to ask for additional days then the original date of return. I like the locations cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. Easy peasy, I and out and the app worked well. I'll be renter another van when I get my next payroll. Van was clean, everything worked as it should. It fel safe to drive and secure to keep my haul locked inside for the overnight. Also, the location of this particular U-Haul was VERY CLOSE, VERY ACCESSIBLE, Like I said....easy out and easy return..Thomas B.

The truck was given to me with the rear door all the way open and full of trash and cardboard. It was raining and no inspection was performed. The exhaust on the truck was falling apart and the cab smelled like a dive bar and a night full of disappointment. The whole truck was filthy and mud up the sides of the exterior.David W.

The truck was clean and ran well. However, the process of obtaining the truck online was difficult. My father in law was driving the truck with us and his Driver's license only has 6 numbers. The system would not recognize it as valid. On top of that, you needed two different forms of authorization even after we took a picture of him and his license. Once we got the truck, we found out that the rental does not come with furniture pads. Not the end of the world. We had blankets and towels. However, the rental also doesn't come with ratchet straps! Not including these in a truck seems unsafe and like you are setting your customers up to get hurt! Overall, a frustrating experience but the truck mostly did its job and moved my stuff from one location to the next.Michael H.

We rented a truck for the day. First time at this location. ( the location took us to thru a neighborhood but we found it.)The gentleman that handled the transaction was amazing. Very knowledgeable and was fast to rent the truck. The whole transaction only took. 15 minutes. We will tell our friends to visit when they need storage or renting a uhaul truck. They charged me for an extra day when I was told it would not be charged by the person who I originally picked up the vehicle from at the desk. When I explained they didn't help at all, the woman at the desk literally said â€œit doesn't matter what he saidâ€ and proceeded to bill me $100+. Tried to do chat and for some reason it kept freezing up on me and no one ever got back to me. I've learned my lesson - do not use Uhaul again.DAndrea B.
Second time uhaul has caused me severe moving problems by not providing the vehicle I reserved. I did't find out til I walked through the door. I believe there should be a late return penalty of $250.00 per day for trucks not retired on time. My truck was not returned by the previous renter. Second time this has happened to me. I had to rent a smaller cargo van. Therefore I had to make 2 trips, pay extra mileage, and more gas. I was told by the person at the rental site this happens all the time. What a ripoff. I will never use your service again. I will tell my friends not to use your service. Your company should be ashamed to operate this way. Disgraceful!!!Beatrice J.
Thea after hours drop off process is ridiculous. The website doesn't work well, and you have to use a website and go through several prompts/pages that want different pictures taken at different parts of the truck. Before you place the key in a lockbox. And if you have a problem, customer service by phone had a 40 minute wait and the online chat feature was crashing. It would have been nice to know the series of photos required to turn the truck in. It was a huge unexpected hurdle after moving my grandmother into assisted living. The pickup process was great. I'm so disappointed in the lack of info and help with after hours returns soured the whole experience.Daniel T.

Tire pressure was very low. Agent didn't really seem concerned about it. Pressure readings were in the low 70s and should have been 80 psi. Also, agent somehow changed the return location from the one I selected (and was on my receipt) to another location causing difficulty when returning the vehicle.DANIEL M.
