When I returned the truck the owner said I had an accident and he showed me the spot where the truck was dented. It was total BS. I think he tried to scam me. I told him he was full of crap. He said he didn't check it before he sent it out, just to cover his butt. I don't trust him.

Uhaul.com allowed me to do a 24/7 pickup schedule at the Boulder Gas location on a Monday when they are closed for Uhaul. This presented an issue at pickup and a one hour delay of being on-hold calling Uhaul and waiting for the attendant to resolve this SNAFU in the Uhaul system. Ultimately Boulder Gas was excellent. Not so for corporate Uhaul. I'll never get that hour back.

The owner is excellent. Very thorough cleaning (including both rental. his gas pumps and the minimart) friendly and helpful as he stepped in to take care of the rental (UHaul's poorly designed app didn't work - again).

The truck was dirty when I received it. When I went to check out you accessed a $25 cleaning fee. You were supposed to call me to dispute the charges but you never did. This is the last time I'll use U-Haul.

Online reservation was hassel-free. The attendants were easy and there are gas pumps right there to re-fill the tanks. I would rent from this place again. There are little niggly upcharges, but every rental place does this. ie. $1 environmental fee, $2 Colorado Road Safety Program Fee...?

Clean the trucks prior to use. The floor was incredibly sticky and I was worried about putting furniture on it.

Again, the overall process was awful. This is the issue with a large company. No accountability and no way to get anything proactively done. Because no one will take ownership. Uhaul has gotten too big to be able to handle volume in a way that is customer service oriented. I will never ever utilize uhaul again or recommended it to anyone. In fact I will go out of my way to let anyone know who is moving to never use your services.

On my bill I was charged for a late fee of $20 but I was not late I turn the truck in when the store was still open after only having the truck for two hours

I have rented from this location twice. The first time, no problems. The second time, I made a reservation the day before over the phone and told them I'd need it for 24 hours, yet I showed up the following day and they said I had to have the truck returned in 9 hours because they had it rented out the following day. They also had no record, which I doubt, that I had made a reservation the day before. I asked if the rate would be reduced since I'd only have it a few hours, but no. I was then over charged more than $20. Not happy.

This was not the pick up location that I requested nor the one on the confirmation email. When I got there it took us 25 minutes to get the back of the truck open because the door had been painted shut.

Such poor service. I would never recommend this location. Rude and forgot my moving blankets. Also did not tell me it had to be returned by 9 am. He told me I could return any time on the return date. I was charged $40 at he drop off location. I would like this to be refunded since I was unaware.

U-haul promote the rental for $19.90 a 24hour. The real cost is ~$60, even I almost not used the car. I.e. 3 times higher !!! than what u-haul management and sale promoted for. I have never been in a country , Africa, Mexico or far east where the final cost is 3x more than as promoted at sales. Robbery and misleading sales. --> Poor U-haul management and sales, but above average represetants at location.

This location has terrible customer service and seemingly no comprehension of respecting u-haul customers' time. There was only one person present who left the counter with my wife and I standing there repeatedly during the process of acquiring the keys. At one point, he disappeared for 8 minutes to help someone find a specific kind of snack from his convenience store, before cashing them out, only to find out that this person didn't want to buy that snack after all. The check-in process took over 30 minutes despite having filled out all the information the night before regarding my driver's license. The confirmation screen for customers to agree to the terms and conditions and for payments was completely broken and everything had to be manually overridden after repeatedly poking the button with no effect. Repeated this three times, despite our knowing that the screen was broken. There was nothing good about check-in. When I returned the unit, the overall return of the unit was fine. Everything in the truck worked, although I'm mildly concerned that I found shot glasses that smelled like whiskey in the cab: which likely implies someone was drinking and driving in the unit previously. In short, after that customer service experience was over, one needed to follow the advice of the shot glasses: hoist up a drink for Harambe ...

Reservation at 830. I pre checked. Got there was told they don't open till 9. I left at 910. I had 2 movers waiting for 40minutes I paid them to do nothing. I asked business WHY they didn't call the day before when they ssw 830 Reservation- no explanation and no apologies

I will never and I mean never recommend this location. Why because the Uhaul app does not function fully at this site, its apparently in a dead zone for cell service and there is no local Wifi to use either. I ran into 2 other sets of costumers experiencing the same issue with the app not fully loading or stalling. This was an extremely frustrating and dissatisfying experience. Do better Uhaul, dont approve a site that cannot support your app.

Location is a gas station and 7-11 like convenient store. Clerk tried hard but had to handle constant stream of customers while trying to help me. He clearly had no idea anything about the U-haul side of things and process. Took 45 mins to pick up truck (that i used for 45 mins) as he was on the phone i assume with his manager asking how to do everything even though I printed and handed him my confirmation details when I walked in. he had me redo the entire reservation process in the store with him again. When I declined the insurance option, he demanded i show him my proof of insurance before he'd do next step. I rent many trucks for work and personal and do it often and have never been asked for that before. He took picture a of my insurance card with his phone. Not sure why? I had to ask several times for my credit card, drivers licence and proof of insurance back as he had them under paperwork he had pulled out trying to figure this all out. I am sure he is a nice guy but the ownership should not have untrained staff trying to learn and handle this while tending to gas pumps and the register. I will either use another truck rental company from now or or at best, rent from a different U-Haul location that only rent trucks.

The U-Haul contract said to "call" this number when I arrived in town, so I did - and the way the guy answered the phone made me think I had accidentally dialed a personal number. I then asked when I could drop off the truck and return two unused mattress bags I had purchased, and he at first said "before 5pm today," then said "until 11pm," and then said "any time." I kept trying to get clarity, and every time he replied with something like "I am just telling you all your options" and "you know what I mean?" After 5-10 minutes of frustration, I said "no, I'm sorry but I do not know what you mean - please just tell me when I can come by and do both things," at which point the guy hung up on me. I tried calling back over 10 times over the next two hours, but he never picked up (which I assume means he was screening his calls to avoid me). Also, his voicemail listed a different number (confusing) and when I tried to leave a message the system would not let me. I think U-Haul should discontinue whatever contract they have with this location - the listed contact's behavior was rude, insulting, and extremely unprofessional.

No appliance dolly as requested. Truck only had 1/4 tank gas when picked up so I filled it. When turned in, person said that's too bad for me I spent $70 filling gas tank, I wasn't supposed to do that. Rip off! I won't be using U-haul again.

My only complaint is the UHaul app. It ended up being fine for the pick up, but for the drop off, the app did not recognize my location. For pick up, there was an option to scan the barcode on the UHaul box, but drop off did not allow this option. I was therefore unable to complete the drop off when I wanted to and had to return in the morning to complete the drop with the attendant at the gas station. I would have incurred extra charges if I did not complete the online app or gone back in the morning. Please fix this on your app or I will go elsewhere for future rentals. Thank you.

We reserved and paid for an appliance dolly for a big move. When arriving to pick up the vehicle and the appliance dolly, we were informed that they didn't have an appliance dolly and could only supply us with a utility dolly. We were then charged for the appliance dolly. I would have expected to be told before the day of moving that they did not have the dolly we reserved. Once we finished moving and went to return the truck (10 PM on a Sunday night), the key drop-off was taped up and we had to leave the key with the attendee at the gas station which was unsettling. I would just go to a different location, or ensure to call ahead to double check they have the equipment they offer to have.

This place is a gas-station/convenience store, so basically you just drop off the vehicle and go inside to turn in the keys (that's what I did). As a first-time Uhaul renter, I was expecting someone to come out and inspect the truck, but the person manning the cash register couldn't come outside. So I left, not really sure if everything was OK (and not incurring more fees). This was just my perspective as a newbie, maybe it's common. All in all, super easy. A week or so later, I received an email stating I was charged exactly what I expected.

The return process was confusing and it was difficult to get a hold of someone to make sure the truck was returned properly. The drop off process is different that the Uhal text system so it got confusing. Once I got a hold of someone it all worked out, but I had to make an extra trip to the location. The text system told me it would charge me extra when the link they sent did not work. They did not charge me extra, and everything worked out well.

They deleted my reservation for a van without any call, telling me upon arrival that they thought my name was fake. I'd specifically gone to this location and made my reservation weeks early to get a van, as this location is four times further away than my nearest Uhaul location

There seems to be a homeless camp behind the store near where the trucks are parked. It didn't seem very safe or clean. I saw 4-5 homeless people hanging out around the gas station.

The mobile share experience was horrendous. Wasted 45 minutes of my 4 hours "awaiting approval" and then didn't give it back. So we got 3.25 hours instead of 4 for the same price. Wildly inefficient applicationand they could have done everything beforehand and made it seamless. Just terrible.

24/7 online pickup failed. Could not accept quality of my drivers license photo. Cost me 30 minutes extra time. Agent inside resolved it and did a good job. Your photo matching technology needs improvement!

The truck was given with water bottles and some other trash in it. All our furniture was wrapped and we used carpet as the base to avoid scratch. We got charge $10 for cleaning which is ridiculous. The truck wasn't delivered clean and now we are charging for that??

The truck reserved was not avqailable, I was required to pick up a smaller truck and a different location (1 hour further away), and the trailer was at a different location and not available until the 5:00 the day after my reservation. The truck and trailer were not able to complete my move, so I am required to return and rent another trailer to move my furniture. All in all it is costing me close to $900 for the delays ($320 labor for down time to get trailer, unload trailer, drive to rental location $400 gas to drive to and from Denver from Dallas, $180 trailer rental). This does not include the hours of my time on the phone to find the new truck, find the trailer, and the hours to pick up the trailer and return the trailer - it was required, because of the furniture size, to load truck then get trailer and to unload trailer then return it. Hours of time delays.... Yet Denver Uhaul has acted if they are doing me a favor and offered NO compensation for their mistake... WORST ever!!!!! will not recommend unless there is some compensation.

Even though I had an appointment, the pickup time was significantly later due to poor management at the pickup location. Once I was helped. I was satisfied so while I might recommend this location, it will only be with caution that it may not be on time so leave a large window.
