I was charged wrong drop off location cause the guy didn’t check in my UHaul, I’m still waiting on a call from the local manager.

george tI guess I didn't look close enough when I was reserving the 6' x 12' trailer and when I discovered that the entrance to it was more like 5' wide I was at a loss for words. Did anyone consider that someone renting a 6' wide trailer might need the have a 6' entrance to the trailer? It would be nice to have the option of renting one with the full 6' width available. Aside from that, the trailer towed very well and was heavy duty. I sold the trailer I owned and opted to just use U-Haul for my trailer needs instead of taking up space in my yard with a trailer.

Brian M!the guy in the morning was outside when we got there. no hello, good morning, nothing. he was efficient and hooked up the trailer. no thank you and walked back to store. the afternoon guy wanted me to to unhook the trailer myself. My grandson was with me and the guy stood there and gave him instructions. He didn't want to bend over. he was unfriendly, appeared to be annoyed at us, and just turned around and walked back to store, no thank you, no have a nice day. The store on WW White was great thin store NO.

TIMOTHY BI rented a 15' truck and auto transport carrier. I returned the auto transport carrier with no problems. The staff at the drop-off location was very helpful. I informed the staff I would return in about 2 hours to return the truck (I still had 2 days left to return the truck). When I went to drop off the truck about 3 hours after dropping off the auto transport, I called the U-Haul 1-800- number to inform U-Haul that I was on site to return the truck. The U-Haul agent informed me that I cannot drop off the truck at this particular location because they were not accepting trucks and by returning it to this location I would incur an additional fee. I asked the agent (Anthony) to please waive the fee, but he stated he couldn't do that since I had requested another drop off location. I told him I had requested this particular location when I rented the truck. Anthony stated I could talk to the U-Haul location where I rented the truck and speak to them. I declined and asked to speak to agent's supervisor. I was promptly told "she" was not available. I then asked to speak to her supervisor but was told there was no one else available to talk to and that he was a "Reservation Agent" and was the only that could assist me. I then asked again if he could waive the additional fee because I was not going to drop the truck off at another location. The agent promptly responded with a "No". If U-Haul is trying to distribute their fleet around my town then good on them but I'm not doing it for them nor was I willing to pay an additional fee for dropping it off at my preferred location. I selected this particular location in my town because it's convenient for me. Anyway, this whole process seemed useless so I ended the conversation and went in the store. The gentlemen that assisted me in the store told me he can accept the truck and wasn't sure why I was told otherwise. U-Haul states all calls are recorded--the call between me and U-Haul needs to be reviewed to fix your process. In fact I find it a bit ironic that I'm trying to explain the drop off location and this survey shows my preferred drop off location. As a retired military member, I have rented U-Haul equipment for over 35 years. The equipment has gotten better over the years but the service has eroded. There are some U-Haul personnel that embody good customer service, however for the most part, other employees treat customer service as a burden. In the future I honestly doubt I will consider U-Haul for my moving needs.

Lynda GWhen we went to return the truck it was the wrong drop off location and we once again call customer service to get it fixed so we were not charged. Your scheduling and customer service department really needs to get its act together.
Zachery HNAPA was amazing and very helpful. After a complete failure by the WW White location in SA. If you are south of San Antonio use the NAPA in floresville over SA locations. The location at WW White in San Antonio (4502 Rigsby Ave) was awful. I made a reservation on 5/22/23 for a rental on 5/30/23, called twice the morning of 5/30 to confirm and inform closing on my house was taking much longer than expected so I would be late. The gentleman I spoke to (Quentin or Landon) confirmed my reservation and said it would Be no problem if I were late. I then called when I was 30 minutes away from arrival and a different gentleman answered. I was then informed that I was given incorrect information and they did not have my truck available. I then spent over an hour on the phone with traffic department to find a truck and had driven ~25 miles toward San Antonio only to be Informed the closest 26’ truck was at NAPA in Floresville. Next time, improvements could be made by calling in advance if there are issues located the reserved equipment, as well as having staff that know the current inventory as to not misinform customers.
JAKE JI got stopped by a policeman. He said the license plate was the same color as the trailer and unreadable from some distance. It looked fine to me, just letting you know.

JOEL KI expected to return the truck to a live person since it was the middle of the day (Sunday) and did no want to wait an extra day nor be charged extra. It took me a very long time to complete the return online. The call back person was very helpful.
PETE oFigure out how my pickup and return location was changed from Floresville to WW White. Had I not checked the night before I went to pick up the trailer I would have been at the wrong location.

DANIEL MWorst experience I have ever had with uhaul. Will not rent from uhaul in the future. Guaranteed truck not returned to location, was not notified until I tried to pick it up. Had to go completely out of the way to receive a smaller truck with a trailer, lost comp miles and had to argue upon return for no charge for “extra” miles. Ridiculous.

Mario CIt seems that the online booking does not get to the vendor. When we arrived at the pickup location, there was not a trailer the size we booked and they did not have any of the blankets for packing. There should be advance communication with pick up vendor by U-Haul

Steve LI’m not sure about your dual axle car hauler. The hitch disconnected from my ball while I was loading the vehicle and popped up and damaged my tailgate and bumper. The location said that your company does not warranty the damage so the manager offered to cover the repair.

Christie HI did a mobile drop off and didn’t agree with the price and expected an email, text or something through the website. To discuss the issue and nothing. So I declined extra payment and someone went and charged the bank account anyway.
