Glen HDO NOT USE UHAUL….they will charge for many extra days on your rental and ignore every attempt to contact them. Then charge you for transferring the equipment to another state. This company is an absolute fraud

THOMASKEVIN HNot call the customer an hour before the store closes and tell you that they changed the location of the pick up.. Then proceed to change your rate because it's their fault you have to now drive 45 extra mins away to the new location to pick up the trailer. I was extremely upset with last minute phone call and the location change.. Worst of all they charged me double because I had to go to a different location and drop off in a different location.. I find that very unfair to me because it wasn't my fault of the last minute change..

CHRISTOPHER NI had no problems with Mud & Snow, my biggest problem is with U-Haul. I was called two days before my trip to pick up my trailer in a different location which doubled my trip time. When I was talking to the representative she told me she couldn't get a hold of the U-Haul branch I was trying to pick up my trailer, and that is why I was being switched. When I called they picked up on the third ring...I then had to go on a wild goose chase to try to find out if they had a U-Haul in that area, after 30 minutes of talking I found out they had nothing. Awful experience with the regional branch of U-Haul. Mud & Snow listened to me though and THEY were awesome, not U-Haul as a whole.

Lynn HOnly problem is I wasn’t told name and address of this location. I had to call 800 number to get the drop off number to finally know who/where they were. Almost dropped off trailer at wrong location. Why?

maxemillian cThe clerk was sympathetic about the situation, but said he could not help with a refund or anything unless I had a tire replaced, or had to add oil, etc, Still, after reserving it 2 months in advance to ensure I would have a truck big enough, I was downsized to a 10' for the same cost. Please make this right. Thank you.
CAROLYN SReturn process was streamlined and very simple. Once I had parked the truck, returned the key and was ready to leave, I realized I needed the truck one more time to move a local item to my home. I spoke to the uHaul personnel and they were more than happy to accommodate me. They returned the key, for the same truck I was driving, and I was able to move my last minute item. Before I left I was told, that when I return the truck all I need to do is lock the doors and drop the key in the after hours box. I just received my equipment return contract, and there are absolutely no unexpected monetary charges. Excellent experience!

tim bHave the equipment at the location where reservation was made, this is the 2nd time I had this happen to me with U-Haul. round trip added 1.5 hours to my very long day by having to go 36 miles out of way when reservation was made a location 5 mins from location of the move.

JASON kWe had reserved a truck and requested a hand truck and padding from the Oneonta Uhaul location at the end of May for June 25th. The day before we were to pick up the truck, the manager from the Oneonta location called to say they did not have a truck for us--we would have to drive to Deposit (we were moving from Oneonta) if we wanted our truck. This was distressing and inconvenient to drive an extra 40 miles each way to get the truck, and put us behind schedule in the moving process. Also, the requested a hand truck and packing pads were not available at either location. While the Deposit Uhaul and personnel were great to deal with, we will think twice before using Uhaul services in the future.
