Getting and using the vehicle went just fine. However, I was confused as to where to park the vehicle when returning after-hours, as the gate was locked. I called the after-hours number and it just directed me to some corporate parent company who didn't have any useful information for me. Definitely make sure you ask about where and when you can return the vehicle if picking up from this location.

I was charged for additional miles, after I was told that miles would be added to my account due to having to drive to El Monte to pick up a trailer, then having to return it because it wouldn't accommodate what I needed it to, after being told that it would by your sales representative on the phone. I'll be calling to dispute this charge after the holiday. 😡

The staff helping us to get the trailer were very unprofessional. We rented a 10 foot truck from U haul last month and the tire pressure was not maintained. In order not to have the same experience like last time we asked the staff members whether the tire pressure was checked. They answered yes. But we insisted that we would like to double check and found out the tire pressure was off. Instead of helping us to get the tire pressure up, they said they had to checked with the managers in the office. When we were back to the office, the staff immediately ran away to take care of other customers and the office was locked. No one was there to even help us to resolve the issue.

Mount Olive Storage was great. HOWEVER, the UHAUL rep who called me from corporate UHAUL was not easy to deal with. She called late in the afternoon to confirm and move up my reservation because the location was closing at 5:00 pm. The website has a scrolling time booking opportunity and mobile pick up (which I assumed I had done). She was very curt with me and said it didn't apply to vans. I had planned my day around an easy mobile pick up that turned into a rush through LA traffic because the UHAUL site is unclear in the booking process and the UHAUL rep was dismissive of my statement. She didn't even say, "I'll look into that" or anything like that. The Mount Olive staff was understanding and said they would pass along my statement. But the corporate UHAUL rep was frustrating because I assumed I had done everything right. If UHAUL would like to credit me back any of my fee because of this inconvenience, I'd happily accept the money. Thank you. Sean

You can offer a lower amount per mile. You need to fix your doors very hard to close.. trucks with cruise control. Do not have any equipment in truck if not requested

They stole money. Make sure you calculate the actual distance as they did not check the odometer and charged me what I thought I assumed would be the amount of miles I would use.

You can make the customer aware that if requesting a 15 footer truck you only going to get a 22 footer +. The doors and the gate were hard to close and open. You should be able to credit the customer for any additional fuel in the tank above the line of pick up, it is the right thing to do. I would like for the area manager to call me. Thank you

Reservations system did not work well when trying to change the type of truck on my reservation. Instead of changing the reservation, it created a new reservation, without any of the settings from the original reservation (include appliance dolly, waive trip insurance). I had to delete the original reservation and the rental office did not know about the request for the dolly. Fortunately they had one and it was not a problem to get it once I was at the rental office.

Don't run the motor for too long to conserve fuel, and don't move the truck onto the street while the customer is still there. It appears as if the vehicle's safety doesn't matter to the employees.

Mt Olive Storage is great! We love them! However, the UHaul Website to check-in process for the rental is horrible. I needed to pick up the rental before the Mt Olive Storage location opened. I started the online check in but ended up having to call the 24/7 number for assistance. Thankfully, Justice handled my call and was wonderful. She had to change some things on the fly so I could finish checking out the vehicle. Your site says to come 10 minutes prior to start time- and I did. After all the issues, I didn't drive off with the rental until 40 minutes later. You need to fix your website. Ask for all info in advance during the reservation process. So the check out of the rental can be easy.

I appreciated the convenience of being able to rent a UHaul truck very close to my home. The truck's gas tank was not full, and we realized as we were getting on the freeway that we didn't have enough gas. We turned around and put what we thought was enough gas into the tank for our trip. When we returned the truck, we were told we would get an email receipt. When I opened the receipt, I was not happy to see a gasoline fuel charge AND a service fee. I went back to the lot the following day, and they apologized and said that the associate should have explained the gasoline policy. Nobody explained anything. They handed us the key, and didn't even tell us which truck to use. Fortunately on Monday, the clerks were kind enough to explain that the associate should have explained the policy to us, and to get any other satisfaction I would have to reach out to UHaul directly. I did so, and your company was kind enough to reverse those charges. Just FYI, we rented this truck to move items from our brother's home. He passed away 8 weeks ago. This was not a pleasant moving experience, and that associate and those fees made everything even worse for us.

I returned the uhaul with an extra quarter tank of gas and asked if I can be credited for it, they declined. From someone like me that doesnt know how much gas to put, how do I know or calculate how much a gallons needed to put? First, I put $20 gas, i start the engine and still not enough, when I borrowed the uhaul it was half tank fulll. So, 2nd attempt I put another $20 gas thinking this might be enough to for a half tank full when I borrowed the uhaul. When I started the engine the 2nd time I saw the needle gas gauge went over half tank. So decided to return it and rhinking ubaul/Mt Olive Storage will give me a refund. Instead of getting a refund from Mt Olive Storage, I got an attitude from the Manager named Britney. I was trying to explain to Britney the situation, instead of hearing me out, I got an attitude from her. Everytime I try to explain it to her, she wont let me finish what I am saying and cutting me off. This “Manager” Britney need to learn customer service. Maybe if I was WHITE like Britney the treatment would be different.

I dropped off the equipment after hours, and I was totally surprised to see an after hours charge of $20.00. I would have thought that there wouldn't be any additional fee seeing that the equipment was actually returned early. So why the charge? The only your employees had to do was take the key out of the drop box. So I got charged for that? That should have been disclosed upon the time of the rental. I would have given you an excellent rating, however the fact that I wasn't informed of this charge shows a lack of customer service and attention to detail. Also, the fact that I had to pick up the equipment at another location and was informed of this an hour before my pickup time shows a lack of organization.

I dropped the rental off. Gentleman who identified as Edgar was at the computer. I wanted him or someone else to get rental checked back in and finalize my charges. He declined. He would do it later, when I am not there. And I would need to check my email to see my final bill. He overcharged me on the mileage. I was promised excess mileage would be 40 cents or less per mile at the facility I picked up the rental. He charged me a dollar per mile, that is more than double, about 80 dollars more than quoted. He didn't have a chance to hear out my position because he chose not to conclude transaction when I'm standing in front of him with no other customer at his desk. How to improve: Consider connecting with the customer when he/she is at your desk. They are physically there to engage / interact with you. They are more important than the keyboard you are poking at
