I'm not even sure that the place has a municipal license to operate. Trucks are parked on a hill just by I-10's frontage road. When you select them, you get a call from a guy name Robert that tells you where to find the truck keys (this time they didn't use the key locker by the shed, there's no office nor someone to talk to for that matter). I was planning on using the app to get the truck as I regularly do, however the truck and equipment where already â€œin useâ€ under my name well before I even got to the place. The truck was dirty, the check engine light on the dashboard was on, and the muffler rattled. Tires were almost new; water and oil levels were ok son I decided to use it. Also there was a couple trying to access the keys to their rental, frustrated because there was no one on site to help, as their phone calls where being ignored. One last thing: Ofter time and money was spent loading the truck I was trying to wash off the excessive amount of bugs on the windshield prior to starting my trip only to stop abruptly as I saw a water fall in the middle of the cabin. I ran to move my wallet and keys from the cup holders in the middle console to prevent them from getting wet... I dried the thing and noticed that someone had already tried to fix the problem with a little silicone which of course was done carelessly. This was my second time (and last) using this place. I will and definitely recommend to drive a little more and find a reliable place to get your equipment from.LUIS R L.

Was a self service location. The truck was parked in a little close to the truck next to it and had a trailer parked behind it so backing the truck out of the spot was a little hard but otherwise it was good.Joseph C.
I've rented U-Hauls from several locations in TX and some other states. For some reason in SAT some locations are not even paved, the trucks are parked in unmarked spots, sometimes over irregular terrain as it is the case here. Being parked on dirt the trucks are naturally not as clean. I requested to use the mobile app option to pickup and return and I still got a call and text from the staff asking me for info that I had already uploaded to the app. Courteous call but unnecessary. Overall you can still get things done, however I've seen better locations with spotless trucks that you can use with peace of mind.LUIS R L.

Mobile City made the process very easy and convenient. They had the truck ready, cleaned and ready to go on schedule. Customer service was great and very helpful. They made the new pick up, process due to covid 19, very convenient and effortless. Definitely recommend this location for you moving needs!ALEXIS R.
This is not a safe area for after hours drop off. It is located beside a gas station. When I arrived it was difficult to find the drop off box and was located by an abandoned building. While dropping off the keys a drunk man approached me asking for money and threatened me when I refused to give him cash. This is a completely unacceptable location for anyone to drop off a rental vehicle.Steven B.

I did not receive my utility dolly. I called customer service the day of to report it and they said they would notate it on my account. After returning the U-Haul I was still charged for the dolly. I called customer service to request a refund and never received one. I do not recommend it because of the lack of customer service.Lauren P.

Roger Cervantes was very rude. When you arrived no one was there and no one visible phone number. After I found a phone number I lost 30 minutes trying to open the box where the key was in. Roger gave confused information like he was drunk.Hector S.

I ordered 5 dozen pads to go with my truck. He told where they would be when I picked up my truck. When it came time to use them, 2 bags of pads were wet and unusable. I dried them out before turning them in. When it came time to turn them in, there was only 4 1/2 dozen. I should have counted and inspected them..... lesson learned.David C.

Provide a clean reliable vehicle in a properly maintained facility with good lighting for night drop offs. Provide the equipment as ordered and do not add additional fees that the customer is not responsible for in order to rip people off. Do not lie to people you will do one thing then do the opposite. The online reservation and checkin was very time consuming and needs to work out the bugs.david S.

Provide the truck I requested and was promised; don't change my request with our discussing with me first. Don't say you don't have my alternative request then somehow provide it after escalating to district manager. Don't allow trucks to be returned other than with full gas tanks. I was told the truck had 7/8, but had just over 1/2.Scott M.

We came during business hours and parked where we were asked to. The sign said to wait for someone to come out but no one ever did! The place was completely deserted and no signs on the front door or any indication that it was an actual business. There was a phone number on the contract to call when we arrived but nobody answered and the voicemail was full, tried twice. We ended up doing self turn in but we specifically chose this place to return to because we thought they were open on Saturday.BARBARA F.

Dropped the U-Haul off and no where to park it and they told us to drop off that evening and put keys in drop box and no charges for next day which I see them on our final invoice and then we folded all blankets which we rented and cleaned out the back of the uhaul and they charged a cleaning fee. Paying this much money for these trucks and all extra charges is ridiculous. Also, I set up appt to pick up and when I got to destination to pick up they didn't have the truck and so had to find another one in Monroe which took a while. ??Kristan B.

I picked up the truck at 7am using the 24/7 mobile pick up option. It was a great tool, but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take the lock from the key box or leave it there. There weren't any instructions about it. Little details like that should be added to reduce confusion, if possible.Damon F.

Make sure truck is clean, and all dents, scratches, and damage is repaired before leasing out to another customer. Somehow I got scheduled to check in via my cell phone, and it took two very stressful hours to get things fixed so I could exit the dealership. I will NEVER use the smartphone check in again. The dealership was useless - kept having me call Uhaul customer service instead of helping me register with a different truck that was undamaged and clean. Terrible experience.Mark J.

Truck was great, but could have used cruise control. Facility was grungy. IT was poor. Failed to keep reservation. Photographing ID had to be repeated. Credit card scanning had to be repeated.charles S.
