Unbelievably discourteous, rude and unhelpful. The place looked like the grimy, dingy and nasty back office of a garage, which I am pretty sure is exactly what it is. The entrance to their tiny parking area is on a dangerous curve and they expected us to back in to the narrow slots.

Warren DI told the woman I needed the uhaul for 3 hours max and she charged us for 48. Make that make sense. Extremely sad that this is how people have to make their money is to rip off young couples. Pretty pathetic. Should be ashamed of themselves.

Wilfredo MThe two women who service this location were not very welcoming upon arrival. Gave me the impression this was an inconvenience for them.The office / reception area is very dark and unwelcoming. Also there is no place to leave your vehicle when renting a truck for a couple of hours. You have to park on an adjacent street in front of someone’s house. In my opinion this is not a good image for uhaul.
Jeffrey MI had chosen mobile pick up and it was converted to self pick up or something. So I got there and couldn’t get my truck and had to wait on hold for U-Haul to make it so I could use mobile pick up. I had reserved an application dolly and furniture pads, which weren’t in the truck. The failure to provide the material I reserved made the move impossible and led to a wild goose chase for a dolly, made worse by U-Haul. And in the end resulted in my paying over $200 to buy a dolly.

The greeting offered to customers when they step into your facility, I believe, is an aspect that would benefit from reevaluation. During my recent visit, a warm welcoming expression—like a simple 'hello'— was absent when I walked in. Creating an ambiance that makes the customer feel acknowledged and welcomed is a good starting point for any customer service interaction. Understanding that your team deals with several customers and varying workloads, I suggest the integration of a customer check-in process. Here, staff could inquire about the condition of the rentals upon return, for instance, "How was the truck?" This not only shows the company's concern for customer satisfaction, but it is also an excellent way to receive impromptu feedback about the equipment. Lastly, while I fully comprehend the necessity of creating an organized flow of vehicles to and from your facility, the manner of communicating such requests to customers could be observed. On this occasion, instructions to move my van were delivered quite abruptly, which felt somewhat uncomfortable. If possible, making these requests in a more polite and respectful manner would significantly enhance the in-person interaction experience.
