Your App is terrible. Thank goodness the location was still open when I picked up the truck. The App said I was not at the right place, even when I was inside the store. We then refreshed and it told me, at 12:00pm that I couldn't get service because the location didn't open till 11:00am. Even the agent behind the counter was confused. There were also 5 other people behind me having issues. The poor woman that was working couldn't even close because more and more people were having issues. When we tried to check the truck back in, it would not accept the picture (x5 tries!). We attempted to call for support and there was a 65 minute wait. I called when I got home to make sure that everything was ok. The call que by this time said 23 minutes, it was answered at 45 minutes. Thank goodness for the customer service reps I dealt with. Staff was rude. I called half hour before pickup to verify my truck was there and I was told it was but when I got there it was not. Truck needs shocks or something as it was incredibly rough and I have rented one before that was in great shape. It appears the website and what I was charged are VERY different. The 26 foot truck was given to me with bald front tires. Needless to say I had rain shortly leaving Saint John and it was pretty white knuckle. I cried the whole way ro Halifax. The next I took truck to IHAUL in Bayers Lake in Halifax. The man I spoke with was Ralph in the mechanic Bay. He looked at the tires and saw they were bald and I cried that it is too big for me to drive. He immediately got me a 20 foot and made me feel so good. Ralph even helped us load the new truck with the few items that were on old truck. A big thank you to a Ralph at U Haul at Horeshoe Lake Drive. You made the remainder of my trip lass stressful! The Uhaul was canceled 3 times . The 4th time I drove to collect the uhaul it was not there ! So , I had taken 3 days off for nothing to move things I didn't have a uhaul for . Considering the missed work Uhaul cost me ALOT of moneySAMUEL ELIJAH L.

We booked our Uhaul online and when we went to pick it up using mobile 24/7 pick-up, the location had just rented it to someone else, so we had to go through the whole process again, which delayed our trip. I'm not sure if this is a flaw in the U-Haul system, but it needs to be fixed. The exhaust light on the truck was on the whole time.Kenneth P.
Had rented a 15' truck for move from Saint John to Westville- day before the move we were told there were not 15 foot trucks available and was offered a 26' truck. This is unacceptable given how much gas a truck that size requires/ the difficulty of piloting it! When we picked it up (Sunday aug 23rd) I started to pull the truck out of a church parking lot as a congregation of churchgoers was flooding into the parking lot - this location was very hard to navigate and I'm not sure is an appropriate pick up location for a 26' truck especially on Sunday mornings!FRANCOIS A V L.

The lady I dealt with at Millidgeville Sevice Center went way out of her way with measuring and pics to assure I get the trailer I needed. I have never received such a high level of customer service anywhere as I received at this U-Haul. Smooth experience overall. Wanted to rent the appliance dolly for another couple days but it was not available. Employees were knowledgeable but rushed as to be expected for this time of the month. I was not sure how to disengage the parking break and an employee was happy to help. My one complaint is that their phone lines did not work so I had to drive there to ask a question when it would have been easier to call.JENNA MARIE A.
The owner of this place was fantastic to deal with and If it was him alone I would highly recommend this location. However, the woman who I dealt with behind the desk was a different story. I have never dealt with someone so ignorant. The way she spoke to me was embarrassing in all honesty. The cab of the truck was very dirty, in there defence I know there is a quick turnaround so I'm sure it's difficult to maintain it. But, the truck reeked of cigarettes and when I went to use the sun visor a whole pack of them tucked up there fell out. I had booked furniture pads but when I got to the location they didn't have any. The woman said she doesn't â€œf******â€ understand why people keep trying too they don't have any. Maybe because it's an option when you book the truck online? She also took a personal phone call in the middle of the transaction and when I made a comment jokingly about it she belittled me about it. I left that building literally shaking because of the shock of what happened, just a brutal person. I feel bad writing this review because of how nice the owner of the garage was, and he was fantastic to deal with in every regard. But this woman ruined it all and for that reason alone I wouldn't go near this location again.Evan Matthew R.

Although the trailer we first got a rental contract on didn't have functioning wiring, the spectacular service more than made up for it. From the first call I made to the point where I returned the rental, the woman managing the rental center made all the clients know they mattered, and it was easily apparent that she takes providing great service very seriously. I believe her first name is Gen (sound like Jenn), and although I didn't catch her last name, I think it's SuperWoman. She was able to rent us a different trailer and get me on the road in time to meet up with the movers, all while serving other clients and providing them with the same level of care and attention. Best client service example anywhere in Saint John. The world needs more people like her. I'll be renting from this location again next time, and will recommend it to my friends.Jolaine L.

I have to wait an hour to just talk to her about appointment and then again one hour to get the dolly. i have to tie the car my self on that dolly and the guy there was just giving me direction do this and that. Millidgeville Service Center (and Jen, who helped us) was absolutely amazing. In person and on the phone, it wasn't just about what I as asking for, but how they could make the process as painless as possible. I had a crying baby and small toddler yelling at me while I was on the phone, and Jen helped smooth things over instead of getting impatient or frustrated. Literally some of the best, kindest service I've gotten in ages. I'll also note that I rented the truck almost 3 weeks ago and haven't had much kid-free time to type up a review. I probably would have let it slide off my to-do list, but Jen and this service centre were so wonderful that it's absolutely worth taking some precious free time to post this. 100% would recommend - even it adds a bit to your driving milage to get there.BRIAN R F.

owner argumentative trying to say they were right about their hours even when the online self service said the location was 24 hour and that keys could be picked up at 7AM specifically in the order. the bizarre thing is she was actually initially helpful and took the booking before 8 but when we returned started arguing for no reason that we were wrong and she was right as we didn't complain or even mention it and then she still continued to try and prove her point even when it didn't matter. - very strange behaviour for the owner of a business. it made everyone uncomfortable and upset for no reason at all.GLEN WILLIAM HOW H.

The agent dealt with was courteous and thorough overall, although when asked about after-hours drop-off requirements for the truck at the next location, she did not inform about an online notice or a $20 fee for not doing so. Two comments: first - I would like to be able to do all the paperwork online and not have to redo paperwork at the physical location. I did the online booking the day before check-in and still had to do paperwork on arrival + answer questions I didn't expect. Second - the people at the pick-up location were frazzled. I heard all about their problems of getting trucks and Uhaul doing this and that to them. As a customer, I don't need to hear that stuff. I want them to be efficient and make me feel good about my 'purchase' and simply get me on my way.Christina B.

I ordered a 20' truck well in advance, but they changed it to a 26' truck without calling me. Only noticed it when I started the online check-in, and ended up having to take the larger truck. Also, I ordered a utility dolly with the truck, and they did not have one available when I picked up the truck. The woman working Sunday, May 2nd was extremely rude and unprofessional. She came out screaming across the parking lot to me which I clearly could not hear since I was over 50 feet away in my car (I guess you guys were closed). She attempted to close the gate on me when I came up the door and I said â€œI'm here to rent a truck I have a reservationâ€ and she said â€œwell we're closed but come in I guessâ€. She then told me I need a major credit card for your tiny studio/1 bedroom truck which was a LIE. This caused me to lose money on my damage deposit because I had to stay an extra day and move out a day late making it stressful on myself and my boyfriend. She sucks.KAITLYN ANNE Y.

Staff originally couldn't locate my reservation, but did eventually do so. Staff did not wear masks properly or did not wear masks at all during my pickup or return, and continually made comments that another customer had just dropped off a vehicle while intoxicated. This occurred not only during my pickup but again hours later at my drop off. Staff then used hand sanitizer which they rubbed on their hands, and then rubbed their hands over the pen in order to â€œsanitizeâ€ it for me before I used it to sign off on my purchase. There was also no room to park your vehicle. Multiple vehicles were blocked in. The uhaul I rented was extremely wet in the back. I had to buy tarps to place down before I could move any of my belongings. The vehicle also stunk of cigarette smoke. The online process of setting up the reservation was extremely easy and user friendly. However the location/staff/experience was ultimately unprofessional.Sarah Ann D.
