Employees at this gas station Dunkin donuts last U-Haul then you need to be given an intensive course in customer service skills they were extremely rude not helpful condescending and dismissive

Attendant could not complete the contract to turn in the truck. She had to call the manager in . When the manager arrived, she sat in her SUV texting. I finally went out to her SUV and asked her to come in the store, because we needed her help. I do not think, by her reaction, that she was happy with bothering her. We were delayed 45 minutes picking the truck up. Give the attendant additional training! Better customer service from the manage.

The clerk was inattentive truck was buried in a snow bank covered with snow and ice had many dings they had no knowledge that I was coming for an rental, just lucky they had a truck. Being at a convenience shop gas ad all many people could hear the transaction. Not secure.

You should not send anyone to that location .. it's a gas station/convenient store for heavens sake and no U-haul signs at all. The person who checked me out told me he did not have the 2 dollies I ordered and paid for but he would not or could not refund me my money ... what the he'll? He did not explain that I did not need to use the tow/haul feature because it causes a difficult ride with slow gear changes. Trust me after driving 35 minutes from my home to this place because u-haul screwed up and didn't have the truck at the location i registered at or the second location that uhaul said would have it I was not happy and then thus crap... I want my money refunded!!!!

truck was over an hour late and the sign-in process, even after the "express check-in" i did online, was unnecessarily time consuming. this was not the location's fault but the lame, user-UNfriendly U-haul app.

I am super upset about this rental. We were not allowed to rent it for 1 day and forced to rent for 2 days. We returned the next day and then found out when returning this truck that there was a mileage limit that was not disclosed upon reservation or pick up which doesn't even cover the distance from where we needed to move to where we needed to go. There were highway detours though NY and NH AND we needed to go to Hoosic Falls to get this truck from Greenwich because the APP/Web showed it was the only 10' truck available (none avail in Greenwhich). The APP said $199 to rent, the website said $144 (which we booked through) and then when we went to pick it up they couldn't figure out the rental and tried to charge us $288. After 35 min of waiting and phone calls to Uhaul it was settled at the $144 which is STILL wrong because we didn't want or need it for 2 days only 1 day. We go to drop it off at the address on the agreement and they told us they were not taking it, and we were at the wrong location, another 20 min and they took it and charged us for mileage. THis is the WORST experience ever and I will never rent from U-haul again. WE were duped, and over charged and forced to rent for a longer period without knowing there would be additional mileage charged. The 125 miles would cover ONLY U-haul to U-haul and no where in between. This would mean we need our moving needs to be at each uhaul location which is absolutely ridiculous. I want a refund!!!!! I went to 2 different Uhaul locations that had trucks in the lot but the store associates weren't able to rent them to me because they didn't know how to check them back in. I needed to wait 2 extra days before I could rent my truck and when I went to pick it up the store associate didn't know how to check it out so we spent 45 minutes on the phone with your customer service. After 2 days and 45 minutes of going back and forth with Uhaul I finally got my truck that had no gas in it and smelled like cigarettes. Uhaul needs to do a better job of making sure their store associates (i.e. at gas stations, storage companies, etc.) are educated on how to use your system and service your customers. I will likely never use Uhaul again unfortunately.

This location was fine. The UHaul system was extremely problematic. The server was not functioning and the poor employee trying to dispatch my truck from the location had to call into the UHaul number, where a UHaul employee made the process extremely difficult, refused to dispatch the truck, and insisted that we had to wait until 9am to pick up the truck reserved for a 7am pickup. They refused to complete the checkin process over the phone. It took nearly the full two hours to finally complete the process, when I called into the UHaul number myself, was put on hold for an extended period of time, and finally reached someone who was able to change my reservation to a 24/7 pickup (this was not suggested by the former UHaul employee) which allowed me to finally get my truck. Mikey Mart was VERY patient and persistent, but I am NOT pleased with UHaul's system.

Have someone at the counter familiar with Uhaul. We scheduled a 9:30 pick up on Saturday morning and it was the man at the counters first day. He contacted his supervisor and she said she be down in 15 minutes and it took 2x as long. I would think that since we scheduled a pick up someone should have been there to meet us.

The mileage on paper work did not match truck. Had I not noticed, I would of been charged for 80 extra miles.

There were 2 drop off locations in town that I had to choose from and I was forced to drop off 10+ miles away. Again, more added expenses for both me and my pickup car. I was informed of this change when I picked it up at a non-preferred location...too late to make alternate arrangements. Potential customers should be aware of this switching policy that UHaul does to maximize profits..

The person who helps you is the cashier at the gas station. I was not told about additional fees when I rented or returned the truck. The cab of the truck was not clean...bags of nuts&bolts and garbage

After first calling the location to make a reservation, we were told we had to do so online. We made the reservation and drove to the location 15 mins later to pick up the truck. The cashier told us she was not trained in the Uhaul system. When our reservation did not appear in the store’s computer, she was unwilling to do anything to help (despite the fact that I had already received a confirmation email). The cashier’s attitude overall was rude and unhelpful. We waited for 10 mins until she finally refreshed the computer and the reservation appeared. She did not know how to accept payment and had to call another employee on the phone to help. We left the location with the truck 25 mins after our reservation began. All register employees at this location need to be trained on the UHaul system and should be willing to help paying customers use this service.

The u haul computer system crashed the day that I rented. Only due to the human interaction was this rental even possible. I had a reservation at 10 am in Brunswick New York. They had a truck but not the auto transporter/trailer. They said to try Cohoes New York. They couldn't help me because the computer system was down. I called the 1/800 number & was on hold for 30 minutes. Frustrated I drove back to the where I had bought the car to explain that UHaul had dropped the ball. I'd have to pick up the car at a later time. Frustrated I went to get some food & as I drove by the Brunswick location to express my displeasure at the days events. The lady said that her brother ran the Mikey Mart location in Hoosick New York and they had both the truck & transporter! After another 20 minute drive in the other direction I had some success. Till the computer crashed again. My credit card was charged for the transporter but not the truck. The young man behind the counter moved mountains to help me that day. He called the owner & we agreed that since I was in the system & had all of the information they needed except complete payment. They accepted every penny I had in my pocket that day as a cash transaction. $197.50. I will complain about the whole experience but 2 people helped me that day. The lady at Brunswick & the young man at Hoosick.

This location could be confusing to anyone not familiar with the service station. It is not obvious where to park vehicles or who to talk to to get the equipment handled.

This is not your typical U-Haul as it's at a gas station and convenience store. The kid behind the counter was fine with the paperwork but really had no clue about any of the equipment. The ball clasp on the trailer is actually stuck and I was able to find a trucker who came in for diesel that had a can of WD-40. No one ever came out to look at the equipment I was just sent out to go hook it up myself.

drop off was convenient but it is a busy gas station. The one cashier also had to check in our vehicle. The location is also a busy Duncan donuts. Alternately we would have had to drive an hour for a drop off, so depends.

when yo order a truck a month before for an important event and the day of the service are told by 3 different employees from u haul 3 different stories is ot the way you do business. I was told i had a truck fro the 5 day period then it went to 1 day then i was told i had to bring it back in 4-5 hours then i was told i did not have a truck then the price doubled and then was told to bring truck back in 1 day. very upsetting and confusing experience. i do not recommend dealing with your business unless you communicate with each other. No one helped us and did not seem to care. The only person who was a supervisor who helped and understood our circumstance and worked with us was Sherry. I did not get her last name.

The lady at Mikey's was wonderful. The rest of my experience with UHaul was horrible. They had me running around (on the phone) telling me the pick up place had changed to somewhere 2 hours away, then they doubled the order with a second place and threatened to bill me a cancellation charge for the second place that I had NOT asked for. Come to find out the original place did have two trailers and I didn't need to travel the extra distance but I only found that out after playing tag on the phone all evening and the following morning. I would not recommend UHaul in Cohoes, NY. They messed everything up making my experience a nightmare.

The truck was very good people were polite and quick however the trouble came checking out on return mileage out was 50161 return was 50213 which totals 53 miles all plainly printed on the ticket but we were charged for 101 miles also plainly printed and neither Mickey Mart or uhaul is willing to correct this over charge . just check your Bill carefully before leaving this place. I didn't

This location is a very small very busy gas station with one person running the counter and rentals. Friendly staff but easily overwhelmed. Horrible horrible experience with booking this vehicle. Would not use U-haul again due booking issues. It is unacceptable to contact a customer 1-2 days before their planned moving date and tell them the equipment or nearby pick up location is unavailable. DO NOT recommend online booking. It was a nightmare.

For some reason the associates at the 1-800 number called me several times with the wrong information about my rental. I was getting nervous that the truck I had thought I signed up for, would not be ready. It took a few phone calls to clear it up but eventually everything worked out. The truck ran great and I was very pleased with the service at the Hoosick Falls location.

Because of this we were over in mileage and at the dropoff they wanted $$$. We needed another truck tomorrow and we rented from Penske and it was 1/2 your price.

Maybe have the right mileage on the paperwork and trucks. My beginning mileage on the truck rental agreement was 8900 miles and the actual mileage on the truck was 8300 miles which posed as a problem when they checked the mileage when I returned it. I also asked for 10 hours and they gave me 8 then proceeded to charge me for two separate rentals, plus two separate insurance policies. So my quote was barely over 100 dollars and was actually charged 168 dollars. Meanwhile they posted the mileage from the 8900 miles and then tacked the mileage I went onto that. So, you have a truck there that is in the computer with 8900 plus miles and actually only has 8300 plus miles on it. So, how many people are going to get screwed over by this problem, especially being the honest one who took a picture of the original mileage when I got into the truck. Very pissed customer and very poor service...

I was run around from the beginning. I was up graded, which was fine. The location changed which made me travel 10-15 more miles. The woman was nasty to my wife the day I was to pick up the truck. Right from the beginning I wanted to pick up the truck at around 3:00 PM. You changed the pick up to 9:00 AM. I called the pick up location the day I found out I was to pick up the truck, and told them I was going to pick it up at 3, and I also called you folks and told the same to you. Then the day I was going to pick up the truck the lady called and gave my wife crap because we had not picked up the truck and we were going to loose our reservation. I was also told that there was t a dolly, I never got one and never wanted one the first agent was told I only wanted the insurance.

The people at this location are great. I've come to realize after 2 rentals in 2 weeks from 2 different locations that it's U Haul that has issues. Both times I've rented there have been issues. It's never been an easy transaction.

Was charged for 68 miles when I only went 25 and recieved truck with 5/8 full tank but paperwork said 3/4. The truck read 3266 miles when I picked up but paperwork said 3223! Dropped off at 3291 so I paid $96 when should have been maybe $50!! Not happy!

Service was slow and continually interrupted by customers for the primary business in the facility. A 10 minute check out took 1/2 hour and my paper work was previously filled out on line.

I reserved a 26' truck early in the week for Saturday pick up. I confirmed days in advance it would be available at 8 am Saturday in Hoosick Falls, multiple times. As the week went on I received a series of calls from uhaul . They downsized the truck size, moved the return location, moved the pick up location. Then on my way out the door to Hoosick Saturday to pick up my smaller truck( I called the station directly Friday to confirm 8 am and the person said the truck is here, i am looking at it). I got another call from Sherry that my truck was gone and now I have to drive to New Lebanon to get a truck and the station is open at 8. Meanwhile I have a crew hired to load at my Hoosick store at 8 standing around. I arrived in New Lebanon to find the place opens at 9 and had to wait another 1/2 hour for mechanic to finish with a car customer. One of worst runaround experiences...and trailer rental previous day was a mess until I cancelled and went directly to uhaul at port of Albany. Was being sent to Pittsfield Ma for they on at 12:45 in afternoon.. Who starts a move at that time of day???

The trucks left rear tire was low on air. I put air in but the information center still said it needed air. It would of been nice to load the truck not worrying about the tire going flat.

I reserved a truck got there and the store owner had the key at another location so I had to get a smaller truck the truck I got only had 7000 miles on it but had it's change oil light on and ran like shit cost same as truck I was going to get and the back door was frozen

We had wanted to pick up the truck in cohoes. We had to drive 45 minutes to pick it up. When we arrived the young girl was overwhelmed. the station was busy, she was not familiar with the process and we had to wait a very long time to get the truck. it was not a good experience at all. I hadn't ordered the insurance but it was on the computer printout so I ended up taking it since I didn't want to wait anymore time to get the truck. You need to work on your delivery system.
