The self-service system at the location where I picked up the car was terrible. It took 1.5 hours and three video call specialists to help me resolve the issue. The same situation occurred when returning the car. I lost a lot of time. Additionally, the car was in terrible condition. The wiring was constantly malfunctioning, and the cabin light would stay on during rain. During the day, all the interior lighting would turn off.

I know there is nothing that you all can do to affect the performance of their suppliers, but this was just horrible

SANDRA JPick up location was very well managed, considering tight parking issues with equipment. My van was clean, however tech needs to check EVAP system (OBDII port) and ID the code to resolve the "check gas cap" message on dash. Van ran well, brakes were good, steering in alignment although steering wheel off center about 10 degrees to left, all lights and signals worked great. Most likely a simple rubber hose in EVAP system is cracked and or leaking causing code on dash. Otherwise a great rental and look forward to doing more business with Uhaul. Appreciate everyone's hard work.

I've had terrible experiences with other Uhaul locations in the past and seriously considered other rental companies for this move based on that, but Midgard has restored my faith in Uhaul.
Kirk WI tried the check-in process using the U-Haul app, but found the app to be cumbersome and time consuming. Ultimately I went into the office and got help from the attendant. The app is a good idea, but I didn't find it very user-friendly or convenient.

Rick CI was charged an incorrect amount. Much more than what the online quote was. When I tried to call customer service I was informed that there was nothing they could do until the rental was returned. the agents that I spoke to were not helpful at all. not sympathetic, or even offering to note the account, so that when I did return the rentals the agents knew what was going on. The other issue was when I looked online at my reservation number after I picked up my rental. It belonged to someone else. Had the same pickup location, but different dates, different drop-off points, etc. I would appreciate a call back so this can be rectified and so that I am charged the correct amount that I was quoted.
Donald BIt took 8 minutes for the mobile app to approve my rental. I sent several messages to the agent with zero replies. The process says to find the vehicle first. It’s behind the locked gate. Then you’re supposed to get your key, so you have to leave the locked gate…this is backwards. I was lucky I remembered to code to get back in the locked area. Upon return, it says park the vehicle, but where? Where I found it behind the locked gate? Nope, no code to open the gate. Luckily, the guy who works there was very helpful.

Antonio LInterior of cargo area needed to be swept out. Cab was comfortable, but nothing on the dashboard worked (clock, radio, etc.) Glad I didn't have to drive it long distances.
Lynn LI had already explained that I wanted to rent a medium-sized 2-wheel trailer for moving. Who knew when the trailer was given to me, it was an unenclosed trailer that could pull outdoor farm equipment or trees. I said that it would not work if it was going to rain, but I was given a trailer. The smallest enclosed trailer! A home that could have been moved in one day using a medium-sized trailer ended up taking 3 days because one piece of some large-sized furniture could not be loaded with other furniture! I had to go back and forth between the two homes 7.8 times! I have already stated that the small trailer will not work. And I also saw where two trailers of the exact type I needed were parked in the parking lot! But give me this smallest trailer! I really don't understand why?

Bobbie BWhen I arrived, I was told that they did not have a dolly, even though I reserved it two weeks in advance. He offered no resolution. When I questioned him, his exact words were “I’m not U-Haul“. The van was not cleaned out. The person went out with the leaf blower and blew out the van as I was finishing up the paperwork. Two days into my rental, I extended the term through the app. I did all the necessary steps, including paying the extra fee for the days. On the evening of the 10th, I got a call from the location. He told me I needed to have the van back within the hour. When I explained That I had extended the rental., He told me that’s not how it works and I didn’t talk to him. I said I follow the process through the app. He started yelling at me and threatened to charge me extra money if I didn’t get the van back to him within the hour. He was to say, I didn’t listen to him. He hung up on me, but before he ended the call, he told me that he would never rent to me again. I did nothing wrong. Fact, I followed all the directions perfectly.

Carter SI reserved my U-Haul about a week before and reserved an appliance dolly and furniture pads. The lady who gave me my key even confirmed this. I looked over the truck and opened the back and neither the dolly, nor the pads were there. I went back inside to let them know and I was told they didn’t have any. This move was dependent on having that appliance dolly. It delayed our move a number of hour while we move some difficult things by hand and had to wait until nearly 5pm until we could get a dolly to move our refrigerator. It was an awful experience
