They canceled my reservation after I had already completed my trip no one helped me hook my trailer up I had to repair the light wiring harness myself to get the lights to work I had to call and remake the same reservation before I could return the unit then the recieving uhal dealer couldn't even check the unit in because the rental time start was after the return would have beenDOLEN R.

Have the rental truck readily available. The truck that was assigned to me was behind 3 other trucks. The customer service rep, another customer and myself moved 3 trucks to get to the truck that was assigned to me. The uhaul service rep was great!JUAN V.

Require both key drop off and key pick up boxes at every location. If uhaul changes the reservation uhaul should not charge the client for the extra mileage for pick up from the original place reserved for pickup. The wait time to speak to a representative is ridiculously long.Christine C.

office opened an hour late. No way to directly contact someone to get an ETA. The corporate call center suggested I come back at a later, unspecified time. Not exactly great customer service. After the office opened, I was told to drive to the back of the lot and unhitch the trailer myself. No assistance whatsoever. That trailer is heavy. I was fortunate that another customer was there who helped me lift it to get it off the hitch. This is my second experience with a Midgard facility, and both were less than stellar moments, especially when compared to working with a U-Haul facility.JUSTIN R.
The uhaul was left with just 1/2 a tank of gas upon first receiving it (even though the location is beside a gas station), and hitched to a trailer that I did not need or request. I had to remove it myself. The gate is also locked after hours, and they did not provide a code upon receiving the uhaul to return the uhaul after office hours. Even though they say you can return it then. I ended up having to bother another storage customer to let me in the gate with their code the next day. Also, no one answered the â€œcall anytimeâ€ phone number listed on the side of the building or their other main number to resolve this issue. So the sign should say â€œcall when we are open.â€ On the topic of being open, they are open an hour later than other places, and their uhauls are in a protected area. But it is no good after hours, if there isn't a code given. After all these issues and also the location being further out, I would use another uhaul dealer.Rachel Y.

The uhaul customers service reps DO NOT know anything about the individual locations. We had to change our pick up time to after hours for the location and the person said since we could use the 24/7 mobile pick up things were fine. That was NOT the case. We were unable to pick up the uhaul and had to make a new reservation for the following morning during operating hours. Uhaul needs to get it together.YURI R.
The price quoted when I reserved the truck on your website was $119. I took this quote to our booster program and got approved to spend that much. When I arrived at the location to pick up the truck, the price was twice as much. This causes issues when I am using board approved funds and they are suddenly twice as much. (this is how teachers get fired) I then tried to call your hotline and after 25 minutes on hold I finally spoke with a rep and minutes later was cut off mid sentence and put back on hold. I hung up after 10 more minutes of waiting. Your customer service is atrocious. You need to make sure that your price online is the same price given to the vendor and that your vendor is willing to honor the online price. In a normal (non-covid) year, we will rent 10-15 trucks a year for our High School and Middle School Band Programs and this experience has made the board discuss switching rental companies.Ivar Matthew O.
