Customer service took care of me and made sure I had what I needed. They were kind and willing to work with me and treated me well.
SAUL JI only chose "average" because of limited experience with U-Haul, especially considering this location is also a self-storage business. The staff was perfectly pleasant, the store was neat and organized. The location wasn't super convenient, but that's more to do with how 8 Mile has grown up around what is clearly a very old building. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
DAVID LThe uhaul smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. As someone who is very sensitive to smells, it made the long drive in the truck a very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. The customer service was great, and the truck ran well. But the internal cleanliness made for a subpar experience. Additionally, while returning the truck there were police cars and officers responding to some event at the office, which did bring into question the safety of the location.

sabrina WMake sure that the inside of the trucks smell fresh and clean .the one I had was stinky It smelt like someone needed to wash their butt . I had to stop, at the store to buy some disinfected spray. so that I could freshen it up a little bit . But other than that, everything was fine. Katrina has very good customer service. She made my experience there good.

Bianca FShe did not explain rental truck info clearly. I also was charged for equipment that I canceled. I was over charged for rental for a day more, when truck was returned the day before. I would not recommend this location.

Cynthia ADon’t over charge customers so their bank account won’t be overdrawn due to negligence and NOT CHECKING ALL PRICES AND FEES, MILEAGE AND DAYS RENTED BEFORE CHARGING THE CUSTOMERS CARD TOO MUCH AND NOT RECTIFYING THE SITUATION WITH SOME TYPE OF DISCOUNT!

deborah rPay attention when the customer is speaking and telling you exactly what they want. I was overcharged for a rental truck and head to contact the office twice to resolve my issue.
Sabrina CPrices for rental was okay. The only issue I have. Is vehicle not having gas already. A customer shouldn't have to rent the truck equipment and put gas in those vehicles. At least the company should make sure the tank is on full or half before given to a customer. Customer already have alot on there plate.
Barbara BI returned the uhual same day within 7 hours and with more gas and uhual tries to charge me for a 8 day late fee. Not to mention the truck did not arrive on time or with the amount of gas it was suppose to have upon pick up poor customer service and a major inconvenience!

DARYL LI used the app to check in and return the truck. That was a nightmare. The many photos needed, the rejected photos, oh my goodness. I won't be doing that again. I wasted half an hour trying to get the truck. And, no one could help me once I started the express check-in process. I was on my own.
Gregory SI hate to say it but we are actually becoming big fans of the self check out and self check in in this case but yes picking up the vehicle and returning it Went much smoother
Felicia STodd, the gentleman that checked us in, was very friendly and helpful! Very pleasant start to a stressful day of moving. The truck was clean and worked great.
CYNTHIA AUhaul didn't have my truck (that I requested a month before) in stock at my location, so I had to drive about 10 miles away to get it, which ultimately put me over the allotted mileage and I had to pay $1/mile over. Don't use their contactless pickup, it is the worst. It took my half an hour to get my truck with all the steps they make you do, all the while standing in front of a storage place on 8 mile in Detroit! Not the safest place to be.
