Overcharged and truck wasn't available at original place. Never received equipment and was charged for it. No help when calling then charged a gas fee about a month later. Got ripped off and nobody would help.Brandon P.

we picked up a truck with two engine lights on. The truck was poorly maintained and we worried that we would not get home. The staff at pick up site insisted everything was okay. I wish I was able to do verification before i picked up my uhaul. I feel like I would have had a much better experience if i could have submitted my ID,selfies, and all my information prior to picking up the Uhaul. Getting to the location and just needing to verify I was at the location and picking my key would have been a much better experience.Sean E.

I returned the trailer 6 hours after pick up. I tried using the after-hours system on my phone and it didn't work. The drop off location was non-responsive and not open when I went to complete the return process after 8 days, I was finally able to speak to someone at the drop off location and close the order. This cost me an additional $20 because the web-based after hours return system didn't work and the location was non-responsive.GARRETT R.
Uhaul rep needs training. Told me I can just drop off trailer after they are closed. When I asked whether I needed to do anything while dropping it off they said no, just leave it where you found it and that's it. Then they hit me with a $20 "convenience" fee for doing exactly what they said. Not a great representation of your organization IMO.Benjamin T.

I picked up the rental at 3:30pm and delivered back at 9:45am next day. I was charged a 20 dollar after hours fee. I will never rent from uhaul again. This kind of rip off tatic is total nonsense, I will be posting my experience on social media so that others can be warned.MICHAEL A.

Stress in the emailed instructions that for the equipment return you do not need presence of the clerk and the return could be performed outside of office hours. That info had ben in email I received, but it did not stress it, therefore I waited for the office hours to return. That was unnecessary because the office was closed anywayALEXANDER Z.

Opening hours are 9 am , I went to drop off vehicle at 10:30, no one was there, put keys and contract in box because I had no idea when someone would be thereâ€¦ they charged me for after hour drop offâ€¦ absolutely ridiculous, I'm charged for their lack of showing up to workâ€¦ dishonest cheats!!!JONATHAN M.
Provide more information on how the process works when you pick up the truck. If it wasn't for individual at pick up site I would of be lost. Maybe a short video on your site.David C.
I reserved an in person pickup at 1000 because I had a couple of questions for the representative and the representative wasn't at the office at 1000. I eventually had to go online make a new reservation for a mobile pickup which was frustrating because I was in a time crunch. I ending up leaving the U-Haul location at 1110 because I was essentially starting the new reservation process all over again. If I would have known the representative wasn't going to be there I would have chosen a different location. I'm in the military and used U-Haul through my travels to different duty stations, but after this experience I don't think I'll be using your services anymore.Eddie C.

I can't think of anything you would need to do more than you are already doing. Although I wouldn't recommend my friend try to use it as a drop off point. He was already full and mentioned that he was going to have to alert UHaul not to send any more dropoffs his way. So, I would make sure my friend doesn't drop off there.Jeffrey D.

So to start off with the man who helped us was very nice as helpful. However the guy that we dropped it off with told us we had to take a picture of every single part of the dolly which he did not tell us originally. He also did not make sure the tired were inflated before he gave it to us, so we got a flat because we assumed they would be properly filled when we picked it up. He also didn't tell us to secure the chain for the underside of the towed car so that was an issue for part of the trip. overall a lot of help though.LISA F.

I reserved a trailer for 3 pm and it wasn't returned until 5 pm which was too late for me. I picked it up the next day and used it from 9 am till 11:45 and UHaul's agent told me I would get an email receipt. I tried to call and could only get a fax machine. I initally selected a different uhaul location that was much closer to my home. I would like it if the trucks that i pick were actually available at the location i selected. This is the second move i have participated in within the last 6 months, and it has happened both times. The first time, they gave me a smaller truck that made the move more difficult.Kelsey B.

This location worked out well but it was the THIRD location assigned. My first choice was changed by Corporate U Haul to a random location 15 or more miles away. Not sure how this could be possible! Called Corporate and got drop off location back to the same town I was in. This location had shorter hours which I had to work around. My first choice was open to 8:00 pm vs 5:00.cynthia G.
