We went to pick up the truck and we were just give the keys and we had to go find the truck, so there was no inspection from staff on delivery. The staff member just gave us the key but no printed proof of the truck with important information like the gas levels or the odometer reading so we had to ask for it as if it was something they don't usually give, which I found strange. When we turned on the truck we noticed that the odometer reading was off by almost 400 miles, which would have implied a huge extra cost for us. We went back in to mention the mistake and we were given a new truck. The staff member took the printed receipt from the previous truck and didn't want to give it back to me for my records. He printed a new receipt for the new truck and sent us our way, again, with no inspection of the new truck. We checked that the odometer reading was correct and the gas meter was were it was supposed to, it was a little under the mark on the receipt. Also, the truck was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation in the cabin and the truck was extremely filthy and with garbage which we assumed was from the previous costumers, but we were on a rush so we just decided to let it go. We went on to load the truck, gave back the keys to the landlord and left the city, on the highway, an engine light turns on. We were in a point where we couldn't go back and we had movers booked to help us unpack the truck on our arrival so we had to drive for 6 hrs with an engine light on, and not knowing if we were in a dangerous situation. The truck was not acceptable, it was an extremely dangerous situation and it seemed that the staff couldn't care less about the safety of their clients.

What’s the gentleman on Sunday and the gentleman on Monday were very respectful, pleasant and polite. they went out of their way to make sure that Ali equipment was safely applied and they actually help me with every step of the way. Hugh WIt is not the cleanest location, or the largest, but the guys take good care of their clients and help with whatever is needed. They also have a fair amounts of trucks and trailers that are easy to access. I have zero complaints and the guys there were kind and efficient. Thank you

Robert LI called ahead to confirm, and the rep at this location told me my reservation was not mobile 24/7 and I needed to change it to get the key left out for me. My reso WAS already mobile. I called home office and they confirmed the same, and called the gentleman while I was on hold. The rep Manuela then came back and told me that he planned to iust stay until 9:15 pm so no need for a lockbox. When I arrived to pick up the truck no one was there. Doors locked. No info about lockbox or codes. Night time and cold outside. Had to call home office again and went through hoops before I finally spoke to someone who fixed the reso in the system and gave me the lockbox number and code to access the vehicle. Overall terrible customer experience that nearly had me stranded and unable to move my belongings. Additionally once I turned the heat on in the truck there was a faint cigarette smell which was unpleasant.

Cathy ULittle, if any, improvement is possible. The gentleman who processed my reservation was extremely friendly, polite and professional. He was very accommodating when I requested to delay my pickup time by a couple of hours due to the heavy snowfall and provided me with the newest of his vehicles so that I had the best opportunity to successfully deal with the difficult conditions. His assistant was also very helpful and friendly. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Brian TAgent was friendly but abrupt and could not explain that the process for photographing my license does not hold the image on file, in memory or in the cloud. There should be some clear explanation of this procedure. On return he asked me to drop the keys and leave. I told him I wanted a receipt but he was reluctant to do so. After I insisted he experienced an error on the app and suggested I call customer service because he did not know what to do. I said I shouldn’t have so hr called. Turns out he was inputting some details wrong but finally sorted it out. This u-haul outlet is very unkempt and not appealing. It is not a good representation of the u-haul brand. Makes it look, at best, second rate.

I wish the trucks came with a full tank of gas so it would be easier to know how much to fill the tank when returning the truck. Truck was not equipped with a snow brush and the windshield was completely frosted over so I had to spend my time ensuring the truck was ready to drive, would have been nice if it was fully ready to go when i got there. the strap to pull down the back door of the truck to shut it was frozen at a strange angle so it go stuck between the roof and the door which made it difficult to close the door.

TED BExcellent value for money and convenient location for pick up and drop off. Rental blankets weren’t super clean, but served our purpose. A bit of a hiccup with the equipment, but it was quickly fixed. I would rent here again.
