Nothing mechanically was wrong with the truck and the gentleman that worked with me to get my keys was incredibly friendly. The truck just had a bad odor in bed from what looked like a previous customers move with old kitty litter. We cleaned it out before we put our stuff inside and everything was great after that. Pick up and drop off were smooth and easy.

Terrible Uhaul experience. Do not do business at this location: 1. I drove on Dorchester and was pulled over by the police because the break light was out. The employees failed to inspect the vehicle properly. 2. Vehicle was filthy on the inside 3. Filled the tank up with extra gas but no money reimbursement. They will charge extra if it is not filled completely so they don't care about you the customer honestly.

The tire pressure monitor light was on the entire trip, which made the mileage on the odometer impossible to read. The person at Meineke knew about this and was supremely unconcerned. How was I to know if the tires were properly inflated?

Reserved extra items, but they were not available when we arrived. Don't accept the reservation if you can't fulfill the order. The extra items were necessary for the move and I could have bought them myself in advance.

Parking lot was a bit cramped, but its understandable with the other work they do there. Could probably move the Uhaul equipment to a more easily accessible area. Kid working the paperwork was new and learning, but the experienced guy took care of it.

I was initially denied rental because of a previous reservation. I made the reservation but I did not pay for the rental or pick up the rental. Despite me calling in to inquire about my name being involved with the rental and the agent saying that I would not have a problem......I did. I may rent from Uhaul in the future but they will be my second or third choice.

Truck was fine, we gased up ourselves before returning. When we returned they told us eveything was good to go. Didnt find out til i got the email they charged us 10 dollars for gas. They should have brought this up to us at the counter so we could dispute it. The gauge doesnt lie and it was clearly at the mark it was when we got it. Wont use again .

Parking area was extremely small and hard to park the truck. Cab and bed needed sweeping out. Did not have a formal walk around to look for defects. I was told if I find damage "just take a picture" of the damaged area. When I returned the truck they told me just leave keys on the desk and they would check it in later.

My reservation was never put in the system. I was told I was lucky they had a truck. The guy who served me was not pleasant at all. I will never return to this location, the customer service sucked.

The gentlemen that helped me at the counter, was very professional and nice, he answered every question I had! The prices are definitely right and I'd recommend this company to anyone!

The fuel gauge was wrong. They said was 7/8 and was 3/4 so for 31 miles I added 12 gallons of fuel to realize it won't go to full. All my personal belongings were soaking wet that were in the roof my know due to the roof leaking.

The rep at the front desk was rude to say the very least. He attempted to outsmart me on vehicle maintenance not knowing that I have extensive knowledge and experience involving auto mechanics as a woman. When the vehicle was returned he refused to even get up to check the mileage to finish the billing process, saying he only does it at then end of the day. He couldn't even be bothered to sit up and engage us professionally. He was slumped back in a chair with his feet kicked up. We used the vehicle on behalf of our business and wanted the paper copies then for our records. He was asked if he was the manager and responded no that he was the owner. I was extremely disturbed to find out that the owner of an establishment would treat first time clients with such a blatant disregard of class and dated sexism.

They sent me out with the key. No walk through or anything. After I got to my house I discovered there was no breakaway tabs on the blankets or dolly so they charged me for them I found out later. Now no one will respond to my inquiry. I have used them 5 times before but this has turned me off. I will not use them next year when I move.

I didn't even use it and the Auto shop still charged me..I want my money back. My car got water logged and needed to be towed and I couldn't use the dolly and was still charged

The only improvement I would suggest is that they improve the organization of the parking lot its connected with meineke and you have to dodge the car there for service to get you Uhaul truck in and out.

David was very rude on every occasion I encountered him. I think he is the owner of that store or at the very least a manager so it is clear he does not value customer service. I felt disrespected and would never recommend someone use his location or speak with him. I don't know if he was dismissive and rude on purpose or whether it was because I was a woman or what but I suggest U-haul consider not letting him be a part of their brand or that he get a front desk worker because his people skills suck. Truck had ants infested in the vents.

I actually reserved a 15' truck, but got a call from U-Haul saying they only had a 26' truck. It worked out ok, but it would nice not to have overbooking.

I thought a24hour or day to day rental was from the time it's picked up til that time the next day !! Not by midnight of that day!!I've rented uhauls many times before and never had that situation!!

Pick up location was convenient and friendly. Cab and truck were clean, exterior was very dirty. Locking mechanism on back door was in very poor condition, and driver sun visor actually fell off while driving. Suggest customer do a very thorough walk thru with lessor.

When i first rented the truck, I told him what I needed and he suggested what truck and that an appliance dolly was needed since moving appliances also. I agreed then proceeded to the truck. When I got outside i realize that the truck did not have a ramp to use the dolly, so I came back in to tell him that and he said sorry I thought you would have people to pick it up. I told him remember I said earlier it would only be 2 ladies moving things that why u suggested the dolly. He said he forgot, so he changed the truck for the next big size that had a ramp. When I got off I started to move things and fell over the bed rail because I couldnt see it was dark, so I realize it should be a light in here. I went into the truck to figure out how to turn it on but it didnt work. I called the next day to inform the guy that I wasnt able to move things in the dark because of light not working and I work early so would not be able to move things out of truck until I get off and that would be after time I got the truck. He said ok let me check if someone else needed it after you. He said that it was fine. When I return the truck the person I talked to the previous day was not there and and I told him what I talked about with the guy,and he said yea when you return the truck and call this customer service number they can help you adjust the bill we can only take the truck back and tell someone about the light. So I did call the number he wrote down for me. The young man on the phone said I should have called roadside assistance, but I didnt know that. It would be so much better for them and the U-Haul company to walk there customers through the process like walk you around the truck, tell you the features of the truck and if we have any problems these are the things to do. Not just hand you the keys and say thats why its good to get insurance you dont have to worry about anything just bring truck and the keys back with no questions and its uhaul responsibility not yours. Yea thats a great lift off of a customer head to not be responsible for damages but knowing about the truck and what to do would have help me out so much better. And going through all the features on the truck would have alerted to them and me the light wasnt working in the first place. Something we couldve caught before renting to me. Thanks still a customer because of the convience and ease of not having to make a reservation.

The young man who handled both pick up and return was exceptionally pleasant and professional. He was very thorough and courteous through my dealings with him. I felt I got a great value for my money by renting from U-Haul.

We were charged a cleaning fee of $30.00 for a truck that was not cleaned when we received it the agent never check the gas mileage or the interior of the truck. When we opened it up there were chicken bones in the container. My husband was given the wrong key the agent kept giving him keys instead of inspecting the truck and providing the correct keys. I would not recommend anyone coming to this location. I have used other locations that provided great service. We were the only people there at the time so it wasn't because he was too busy!!!
