This place at night drop off looked pretty isolated and my wife was scared to death.... When leaving after dropping off the truck, the second gate wouldn't open, but the agent was accesible by phone and very helpful at 9pm, so I did appreciate that.

I was so frustrated with the cost of fuel. When I received the car, it was 3/4 of the tank full, and I was told that I had to return it at the same level. I did that, but I was charged 15 used fuel charges. I wrote telling this situation, but I was charged 9 used fuel charge no matter what.

The user experience on the U-Haul app is very subpar - took about four or five different pictures of my driver's license before the app told me where to pick up the keys to the truck. I have had issues with uploading the pictures and everything, so this time I made sure to send the pictures in before leaving. Got to the place, and it needed another picture... then another... then another...

When you give rental truck with a quarter tank of gas and customer brings it back exactly on quarter tank and doesn't drive over the mileage but 1 mile under the documented miles stated at time of contract and when you only have truck for 24 hrs total even including extended time added and u charge for two days and on the day after it's been returned state it was just returned that morning instead of day before that's false and irronious invalid charging of fees beyond what was agreed to and stated and confirmed through customer service making charges unauthorized beyond confirmed amount on card without permission or validation.160.00 for 39 miles truck brought back on time with fuel back original marker and truck clean Drove to a storage building and back .One town over 160 dollars scam.Also sent a text at time of drop off to confirm because app checkout was buffering.To the number I was told to contact with any problems..Bad communication never returned or verified my text was received .

I reserved the trailer at a location near my house and had to drive 35 minutes away to get to this location because that is where you scheduled me.. I arrived early because we had a long trip and the fellow was there early and I asked him if I could go ahead and hook up and go and he said no they did not open till 9 o’clock.

This was the first time we have not used an actual U-Haul location. The van was disgustingly nasty and we had to clean it in order to be able to drive it in peace. It looked like it had not been ever cleaned (dirt, gum, food) in the front seating area. Will never rent from this place again.

The location relies on the app to operate. The app is unreliable and will leave customers without the ability to complete transactions or return their trucks. There is no staff available on Saturdays after 12:30 pm. All business must be completed through the app.

The location was great. The website works well, which is more than I can say for other sites (dominos for example lol) however having to click No I don't want this and No I don't want that 5 or 6 times without an option to skip all that stuff is a little annoying, especially when the reservation timed out cause I let it sit while I thought about things for a few minutes to make sure dates were all good for my plans, so then I had to redo it all.

This turned out to be an electrical company that uses their extra space to store UHaul equipment. Nobody was present on a Saturday around 2:30 PM! The front gate is real wide and opens towards your vehicle while the UHaul trailer portion is still on the road because the entrance is very short and you have to drive up to it to read a little sign that warns you that the gate opens towards you and may be hit by it. You have to back up and turn around and park on the side of the road so you can enter the code to open it. The small key board to enter the code is far from the gate itself and very hard to see with no signs indicating where it is. Once inside the premises you have two choices of other gates to get in with codes. You have the top of the hill or the bottom of the hill. The top one was closed but the bottom one, lucky for me was opened already. I then entered the location where they tell you where to park your UHaul trucks but no signs for where to park your trailers. I backed up my trailer to a spot near the trucks because I was looking for the "UHaul offices only to find out that there is only the electrical company's offices on top of the hill and of course they were close. As I unhitched my trailer I found out that it started to roll forward due to the hill where I had to temporarily stop it with the ball hitch portion of my truck. I then had to find wood blocks from the electrical company's working area to place on the trailer's wheels to keep it from rolling down hill. There are no instructions anywhere indicating how to manually activate the brakes to the unhitched trailer. Installing the UHaul app and then proceeding to do the 24/7 return and sign out process was a nightmare. My iPhone needed permissions to allow picture taking from the Safari browser and the app was quirky having to repeat the procedure several times. They wanted pics of the back of the trailer standing back at a distance but that was hard to do because the trailer had been backed up and parked against a tall wood fence wall. Wish I had known that in advance. At any rate and in summary: I learned to take back your rental UHaul equipment to ONLY A UHAUL COMPANY OWN LOCATION that is open with live people no matter how far it is from your final destination!!!

The tightening screw on the trailer hitch coupler was apparently previously very bent out of shape. Made it difficult to tighten or loosen during use. Not unusable, but more difficult than it should be.
