Rented a trailer to haul a vehicle. Gave the vehicle information and was assured the vehicle would fit. I never used the trailer as the vehicle would NOT fit in the rented trailer. The trailer was returned and another fee was incurred. Uhaul refunded the additional charges but did NOT refund the original charges. I have disputed these charges with UHauls representative Ashley. I can’t understand how they can charge me when the item was unable to be used. I’ve not had any problems with U Haul in the past. Will be skeptical in renting from UHaul again.

karl jWhen I showed up at True Value the yard where I parked the trailer was messy stuff everywhere and a shed with supplies had a door that was swinging back and forth. I went in to return the trailer and there were three employees. Two setting a planogram and one helping a very needy customer. I say needy bc he was with her for 10minutes. I waited about 3 minutes at the register. One young lady finally realizes me standing at the register and asked if she could help me. I told her I wanted to return a trailer. She said “you’re gonna have to wait on my helper, as soon as he is done helping that customer he can go out there with you.” In my head as a customer I’m thinking there is three of you but ok. So like I said the guy was helping the needy customer for 10 minutes. So I stood there for ten minutes waiting and watching the young lady drink her Powerade and text on her phone. Then here comes in another customer to rent a dolly trailer. She does all the paper work. Tells him the same guy that I am waiting on will come out to help as soon as he is done with that customer and me. So he goes and get the dolly trailer hooks it up and pulls to the front of the building waiting to be walked off. Mind you, I’ve been waiting. So the third employee comes to the register asks if she needed help and the cashier tells her yes and that we are both waiting. Cashier then tells me that the third employee name unknown will be helping me. We walk out together and as she walks out the guy that was renting his dolly trailer was at the door waiting to be walked off. So again guess who is waiting AGAIN?? This guy! Needless to say I will not be back and this has caused me to give a bad rating to U-Haul whom I have used over the years and never experienced this before.

Chris TI have used U-Haul on multiple occasions in the last few months and have been satisfied, but I was disappointed in the switch from my contracted drop off location to this location that cost me additional days due to their late opening times and inability to drop off extra hours.

Anne RI wish I had gotten the names of the young men that helped us because they were absolutely wonderful. They loaded the trailer for us and made sure that the lights were functioning properly before we left.
Anna GTruck was dirty. Sand in cab and truck. Had not been swept from previous use. Young blonde girl at counter was surly and unpleasant when picking up and returning truck. Normally this location is pleasant and helpful. She was not.

Jacob TThis location does not allow for 24/7 truck share, you cannot get there early and to pick up the rental (even though the website will tell you you can). Staff was friendly but unprepared even when they finally opened.
Erica CI told this company when i picked up my U-Haul, that i would need to return it to the location i was traveling to two hours away and they told me that was fine. The day I go to return it the app tells me it has to be returned to the same location it was picked up at. I contacted customer support and they were not helpful at all. The lady i spoke to was very rude. I was charged a wrong return designation fee of $96. I will NOT be using U-Haul again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Charlotte KThe truck had crumbs and cardboard boxes left inside, there was no ramp for loading/unloading, I received a $20 charge multiple days after paying for using the vehicle and I reached out to the support team regarding a $7 dolly that I paid for, was charged for, and never received. I still have yet to hear from support.

Beth BThe staff member at McKeithens was super helpful when we arrived to pick up the trailer. When we brought it back we didn't receive the same level of customer service. No one came out to help us unhitch the trailer or provide any support.
Nicole WI have not received a receipt for the rental and that is something one needs upon returning the item. Yet I am sitting hear waiting to recieve the receipt. Also, the truck came with a lock and key that apparently should not be on the truck. The manager on duty was very kind and patient helping to understand it should not be in the truck.
