The advertised rate was 19.95$ per hour + fuel. I had booked the van for 3 hours, which I returned in time. I took the van a full fuel and returned it with full fuel (I have the pic of the fuel indicator on full which returning). When asked about the final charges the store staff (lady) informed it'll be sent after sometime as it is calculated at backend by system. However, to my utter shock I was charged 118$ i.e. double the rate which was advertised, and charged of some insurance and fuel mileage. When asked the store staff they were unable to provide any explanation, and informed me that since the charges were prepaid (credit card amount was blocked) they couldn't do anything and gave me a U-Haul number to contact. I feel being robbed and cheated. Customer needs to be explained how much he would be charged, and not statements like "you'll be charged whatever it takes according to time and distance" ! I would never recommend anyone this store and those who want to book it should confirm the tentative charges in writing before taking the keys.
Aditya MThere was sum confusion as to how to navigate the online check-out application. The Uhaul representative at the pick-up location was unfamiliar or confused.
Kyle LOnly issue I had was not with the dealer but U-Haul system was down and waited for about 45 minutes to an hour for the system to come back on-line and ended up leaving as they could not give me the trailer I booked until the system came back on-line. Returned at the end of the day to pick up the trailer.
Mark TStaff could have been better trained completing the reservation and then release of the trailer the following morning when i needed it.. UHAUL systems were not working well would be an understatement. Location is great, equipment was clean.

zheng lI rented the Trailer in Fredericton NB on December 24th and Returned it on December 25th and to date I have yet to receive my Deposit this in my opinion is unacceptable also the fact of when I returned the unit the staff at Maroon Convenience didn't receive the trailer back into they're stock for I think 2 weeks all I can say is wow
Gordon FIt shouldn't take me almost a half an hour to process the rental contract for the van I rented the gentleman didn't know what he was doing with the machine tablet whatever you wanna call it. There was only one person in attendance at the location and I was being bounced back-and-forth for 15 minutes with people buying gas higher more people.

Cathy LThe App is pointless , I had to attend a convenience/ gas station … where I was made to wait 30+ minutes or our service was paused while the cashier attended to gas station clients …. He also plugged in the wrong postal code which cost me and additional $100 on charges . When o booked online I was told my rate would be $68 and at the end of the day it cost me close to $300 . Not cool
d-anne sNot guarantee a HRM pick up and then tell me there were no trucks available the day before. I was told I would need to drive 1.5 hours to Kentville to pick up a truck. Absolutely unacceptable. Moving is stressful enough but then to add that was just too much. I took it upon myself to fix the situation with the pick up location and resolved the issue.
DEVAN GPick up drop off locations were helpful and knowledgeable about the rental units.

Joe CNobody there to help connect a 6x12 trailer parked on an incline. Completely useless staff. Could have hurt myself doing this if someone hadn't stopped to help me.
Paul MWe rented a vehicle with a furniture dolly and were not told until pick up time there was no dolly. We either had to source one at another location, which we didn't have time for, or get a refund. It was a hassle to get a refund and took a couple of phone calls. Had they told me the day prior there was no dolly, I would have picked one up at another location where I picked up protective pads. Also, upon return, we received a bogus invoice charging us for damage or lost goods and extra fuel charges. It took a call to customer service to get this removed. Thankfully we provided pics of before and after for mileage and fuel levels, but otherwise, we would have been out of pocket for something not warranted. That is poor service and totally unnecessary. I didn't love that we got a 26' instead of 15' - while it gave us extra space, we did not need the added space and it cost us more in fuel.
Joanne mEverything overall for the pick up was okay. Before my pick up day, I was quoted roughly $230 for my rental, but upon pick up, the price changed to $480. I had to call someone to figure out why, and the representative on the phone was great about changing it back to the original price. It was just concerning that my price doubled overnight and there was no explanation for it…
Megan PAlmost 20 minutes teying to get your internet up which took off our time to have uhaul. Only drove ot 25km yet it took $20.00 to refill which leads me to suspect it wasn't completely topped off. Not sure what the double charge of 19.99 or 19.95 was about. Certainly didn't see that on the website.
Krista BYour system was down. The person behind the counter was fantastic god bless her soul. She spent an hour on the phone with tech assistance. The tech assistant had issues with the website. I was an hour past my pick up time. Had it not been for the person behind the counter I would have walked. Still not sure I will recommend U-Haul.
John GI put more gas in than I used and still got charged extra for gas
Michael FHow about don't add extra charges that weren't part of the agreement. Also, the Uhaul still had the previous renter's trash in it.
Madison ATires needed air. App used for returning vehicle continued to crash. This was the most current version of the app. Every time we tried to take photos it would kick us out. Otherwise staff in site in convenience store was lovely, self process through the app to start was great. It was just the finish.
Angela HHave gas tank full (not “about 5/8”) at rental start so customer doesn’t have to guess at an amount to bring fuel level back to beginning amount. 3 pm is not the handiest closing time.
Allan MMaybe let them know when booking a reservation that you have to pay by credit card. Some people don't own credit cards, causing an extreme amount of confusion and frustration when picking up the U-Haul. Not pleased
rebecca sTruck was not cleaned before given to me. Requested for dolly which was missing. I had to call and get the dolly charges refunded. But it was not updated in the contract that dolly was not given to me. And it was showing due when dropping off

robert pThe service representative Nicole was rude, charged me an extra fuel charge that was later refunded due to photographs taken by myself after I had to call customer service. The customer service representative Amber was amazing and restored my faith in Uhaul because after my experience with the representative at Maroon Hill I seriously considered never dealing with Uhaul again.
Joel W1. I checked in on-line, the website did not accept the picture of the back of my license, the guy there didn't know how to correct, took at least 30 minutes to get it sorted out. 2. I want the dolly for 1 day (actually 2.5 hours) and YOUR website wanted to charge me for 2 days. 3. The lights on the trailer were not working correctly.

John HSeemed like the customer service person who was at the counter was not interested in renting the equipment. I asked for renting any equipment and the lady said there is nothing available and then I went to the UHAUL app and found a truck available to reserve and then I did the reservation through the app. Then I went to the lady and told that I got a truck reserved and then she checked her ipad and gave me the key. It seems like she don't what to rent her UHAUL. Not sure whether she had a bad day that day. ;) Just my experience.
Jacob KExtremely expensive for a one hour rental. UHaul could re-rent for an additional full price rental. Should not have to pay full fare if only a small portion of the allotted time
Dave WLos empleados fueron muy amables y serviciales. Quick pick up and drop off experience. The cable on the roller door was broken prior to my pick up but the staff pointed it out
Tim MWe waited more than an hour for the paperwork to be completed. There seemed to be problems with the system accepting the information that was inputted. The staff were friendly and very apologetic for the delay. The charge for mileage was significantly different from what was posted on the website.
