I find the delivery place not very personalized and unfriendly. Fill out the form and then they send you to pick up the car, terrible customer service. The form to receive the vehicle was not done here, because I repeat, they send you to pick up the car on the street. So I went to look for the car and it was full of dirt and dry grass, dirty on the outside and with dirt on the windshield; Then later they demand to deliver it in excellent conditions, otherwise they will charge you; And lastly, in the contract it appears that it must be returned with at least ¼ of it; Well, we received it in less than that and surprisingly it went down very quickly.

I have no issue with the rental location for everything is supposed to be handled via the U-haul app. The problems I had were with the app which has many problems and did not allow me to return the vehicle at the end of my rental. Normally when I add pictures I simply take pictures from within the app, this time I had to leave the app, take pictures, and then upload. When I returned the vehicle the return option was blank and stayed that way all day - I called support both in Canada and the USA and no one could help or do anything and they didn't have any app support - what was very annoying was they expected me to do their work for them including going on hold for a long time waiting for app support which never comes.

When I picked up the vehicle there was less than a quarter tank of gas in it and no real instructions on how much gas there supposed to be in it weatherwise supposed to expect a full tank of gas or type it up or anything I did put a little bit of gas in it but I think you should provide instructions on gas

I think that the process of renting a truck has become way too complicated. First go the uhaul outlet, then get redirected and get to the location of the truck, find the truck, then you have to go through what seems like endless steps, create an online account, upload all your info, take a picture of yourself, someoneelse needs to be callled to verify, this whole process took more than 30 minutes of which I could have been on the road. Returning the truck is just as convoluted and took another 25 minutes until everything worked and we were able to walk away. I remember when you simply went to the UHaul branch, filled out a form, showed your license, left a credit card on file in case of damage and you were on your way, Seriously this process is way too complicated. :(

Hi. They only gave me a paper with instructions. When I had a problem with the return, they didn't know how to orient me and didn't have more information. They need to be trained seriously.

Your phone representatives are fabulous!! I called twice, once to book and once to confirm my charges and it was amazing customer service both times. Very efficient and to-the-point, and professional attitudes. My only negative is that the price of a cargo van rental is high.

My van was ready for me when I got there which was great. The front counter interaction was quick which is usually good, which is also part of the issue. When I went to look for the van on the street they told me it took me a while because I didn't realize that it was an all-white van. I was expecting to find a van with a U-haul logo. Letting someone know that the van is not marked U-Haul and is all white would help in the future. The gas level was also low. I barely used the van, you can see from the mileage and the gas light came on. I refilled to the spot above where it was on the gas gauge when I picked it up. The last issue was there were a ton of Uhaul blankets in the back, which may be for someone moving property it would be good to have, but they took up more time taking them out because we didn't need them and then having to put them back in they also smelled like chemicals. The back also wasn't clean as well there was small debris from the previous person that used the vehicle that I had to clean out. Lastly, the U-Haul van was saying that the airbag needed servicing, which is a bit concerning if I were to get into a wreck. Even though there were some issues, it was not the end of the world type stuff, just a bunch of little things, but they just added up.

I really hate mobile self pick up and mobile self-return of equipment. I agree to the phone agent to change location and extend my rental from friday to monday expecting that there is uhaul rep assist to help me. Because I only need 2 days because this location is closed on sunday, but i was surprised it is still self pick snd self return. But this is really time consuming for always busy person like me and spent extra day rental for nothing.

I Should have to get the key via online check out but Uhaul's site can't locate my locate at check in and time returning my car, I also redo all I can do and confirmed the location sharing is well set but Uhaul's site still unable to do so. This was inconvenience to me, spent me much more time at check in and returning the truck and the risk I have to pay for 'assistance' at check out and returning. I also unable to inform that the vas reader was incorrect.

The online check in does not work. Even with location services enabled on my iPhone (steps recommended on the website) I was unable to check in and the clerk from the post office had to do it for me.

Have a website that works. The service from uhaul was absolutely the worst. The manager in customer service was not willing to apologize for uhaul’s mistakes. Absolutely unacceptable. Trying to speak with customer service is next to impossible.

Check in the vehicle and the return check out was an ordeal on the website. The website didn’t work and the lock box didn’t open.

The self serve option wasn't worth it. It took about 40 mins to be able to access the vehicle because of problems with the process. First, we didn't get the code to unlock the truck and get the key so we had to go into the store and ask for help. Then, when we were taking photos of the pre-existing damage on the truck, the webpage wouldn't load so we couldn't submit it. Overall, the experience wasn't very favorable and next time I won't be using self-serve.

Had a very difficult time accessing keys. My mobile connection was out of data so I could not get combination for lock. I tried calling the help line but they were useless as well.

My vehicle was not available at the correct time or location. I had to go to a different location which took me extra 25mins. I was supposed to move into my new apartment and it cost me extra $100 because I had to extend the elevator reservation. Not happy with the experience at all. This is not professional and I expect to be fully refunded. The only positive here is that the lady who helped me at the location was helpful.

We experienced considerable issues with the GPS location not allowing us to confirm pick up or delivery. It took about 20 -25 min at pick up and at least 30 min at drop off to get it to recognize the location.

The van I rented was fine, except for some sand and gravel in the interiors which would be expected in a moving van. What bothered me was that the process to gain access to the van took over 45 minutes. I have used Uhaul earlier to move residence and it has never taken so long. Please streamline the process to gain access to the vehicle especially if it is done remotely with no assistance from the staff at the location. I had to keep reentering information already provided during booking and the process was unnecessarily prolonged.
