We called Macs and they had a truck come in early which is why we got here. We had reserved one in Dickinson but then got moved to Beulah which was 1 1/2 hours away after driving there they didnt have it staged and so another 1 1/2 hour drive for nothing. Will just call Mac's in the future as the customer service on uhaul is awful was hung up on and put on hold for hoursJEFFREY W.

Have u hauls computers working properly I was there 45 minutes try to pick up trailer. And I had checked in the night before. Two times because someone called and told me to check in again. Then when got a blow out and waited four hours to get it changed. They couldn't find some one to help us this was at 8 pm not real late. The serviceman that changed the tire was excellent and very professional. I do realize this problem was not Macs fault. Even trying to check in.Lance J.

The web-based after-hours process was ridiculous. I had to resubmit multiple selfie photo's, drivers license and passport photos as they would not believe it was me. It took way too long and delayed my trip by way too much time! I will not be recommending online check in to anyone. Plus I was charged for moving blankets that were not provided and the store was closed so I could not get them.Benjamin H.

The pickup went fine. The confirming of the rental was not a good experience at all. Received a text to call and confirm. The location that was called had no idea of what the reservation was for. Then received an email and had to call and then it was a go. Not good customer service from the first location that we called,Joe T.

I was charged 3 gallons of gas @ $5 per gallon when gas has never been that high in my whole fucking life where I live after the fact that I filled it with a gallon for the 10 miles I drove it. The truck felt like it was going to break down from the shot transmission in it. They charged me for extra mileage that was NOT driven & I have proof of this. I want my money refunded for this transaction that I was charged extra for because this is just straight up robbery otherwise & I will drag that place through the fucking mud on social media if not. I have never felt taken advantage of more in my life before this transaction yesterday & I have rented from the few Uhaul suppliers in my hometown many times over the years. This is just wrong on many levels to take advantage of someone like this. You all should be shamed for letting this shit happen.Josh D.

The truck ran very poorly. It took 25 min to rent one in person with a reservation.BETH B.
Windshield washer on driver's side didn't work and both wiper blades were shot. So therefore when we needed clean windows the most, we didn't have them, making for very hazardous driving, especially through DenverRODNEY M.

The truck overheated. It only got about 6 miles to the gallon which even for a box truck is ridiculous and makes the cost of the rental not worth it. The door was frozen and the padlock was unusable. It needs to be serviced. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The truck was clean but the check engine was on the entire time.MELISSA B.

The cab of the truck was full of crumbs and pieces of food from the last person to have it and when I opened the cargo area there were a bunch of empty boxes and garbage bags and a broken dresser still in there from the last personRICHARD M.
The lady that checked me in tried to charge me a second time for the rental even tho it was already paid for. When i asked her what she was chargeing me a second time for she said i didnt pay the first time. I had to pull up my bank statement to prove to her it was already paid for. Worst company ever! Two rental trucks sold out from under us and could not close down our home location and could not secure a start date on a new job out of state or housing due to U-Haul operational processes. In addition, we had moving crews coming in from out of state to help us move and the trucks kept being sold and nothing in the area to replace it. Additional time, expense, stress, risk of job and housing issues all caused with each Uhaul customer. Find another company and join the class action law suites filed on Uhaul!!! Tie your Vin number of the trucks to the customer's phone or reservation number and stop making unethical contracts that you can NOT stand by. Lie's, unethical, crooked ran company is too much credit for you dip shits!!!!craig B.

I had to drive 140 miles out my way to pick this up and back and I had to get a room because my pickup time was early in the morning and that was my packing day to load up. So I wasted time and a lot of extra money and didn't even get a discount. They said oh we will give you an extra day. But for what I had it 3 days and I didn't need 7. For $810 I'm pretty upset. I rented the 10 foot truck for a move across state. Nice new truck. 6400 miles on it. I would highly recommend hearing protection for anyone rent one of these for an out of town move involving hiway speed. Make sure the truck is cleaned. I had to clean the previous renters trash up so I didn't get charged the $25 cleaning fee. After cleaning up after others, I was pretty upset I was charge for mileage.Brett T.

Unfortunately, the 26' uhaul was not available, so we had to drive to Rapid City, South Dakota on Friday instead of Saturday, then had to go to Dickinson on Saturday morning for the auto hauler. We got there in the morning only to find out that the uhaul computer was down, so had to wait some time for the uhaul. The workers at Mac's were wonderful and called us when the site was back up and the hauler could be picked up. Unfortunately, these two extra days and times added a lot of stress to our already stressful moving time.Ryan M.

Dealing with uhaul is a miserable process. I felt with 3 locations. Each one as terrible as the next. Customer service is useless and hold times we're in excess of an hour each of the 3 times I called!Tyler S.
