Attendant was rude not polite or friendly like I was inconvenienceing him.
JAMES EJust handed the key over and filled nothing out. Was not asked miles used. Nothing. Upon the receipt it says I checked out at 5pm when it was 3pm.
LAUREN EStaff was rude and abrupt. Staff could not guarantee that my reservation could be filled and that they might not have the truck I reserved. Staff failed to call back to confirm that my truck was available on the day of rental. Staff failed to provide the combination to the door padlock. I had to return to the booth to request the combination.

Guruvardhana RMy original reservation was not prepared when I arrived. No call. In fact, I had called that morning to inquire about drop off location not being listed. No mention that my reservation was not set for pick up. On the day of, after arriving to find my truck wasn't prepared...The customer service rep was awesome and directed me to walnut street. This is the second time that I was surprised when I arrived for my equipment and it wasn't ready!! There needs to be better follow through and someone should be penalized for my inconvenience.moving is stressful enough to get this kind of surprise on moving day. Thankful that the truck at walnut was available and that shop was so helpful!!

Jean RIt took over 30 minutes for me to get the truck: first the person ahead of me had his truck he was supposed to be renting stolen, then I had to wait for someone trying to scam the attendant out of money to finish yelling at him. After I finally got the truck, it was parked in deep mud, inside the cab was dirty, and the back of the truck was absolutely filthy. There was dirt, jewelry, dust, batteries, receipts, hair accessories, and a bunch of other junk still in it, clearly not swept out. I got the truck with only THIRTEEN miles until empty. I've never had a UHaul truck with that little gas in it when I got it. Luckily the truck ran fine and the lights, brakes, and turn signals all worked. I've rented a UHaul almost every year for 10 years and this was the worst UHaul experience I've had.

Hector DThis location was average, even though there was difficulty with loading my picture id and me having to step aside every time a regular gas station customer came in. They also did not have the 2 Dolly's, I reserved. Either way, finally got a truck. I reserved and paid for a truck a week in advance. I chose the location closest to me. A because it had decent reviews B because I felt my car would be save there when using the truck and C I didn't want to have to pay the extra mileage. The website stated guaranteed reservation. I called the day before my move confirming everything was a go. Their response was yes everything is good my truck was there at that location. Literally 10 minutes before my pick up, as I'm in the car to go, I got a call from uhaul representative stating my truck was no longer there and transferred my reservation to a new location. Not in the best area and further away. I had no choice but to go. But if course I get there and 1st there's a language barrier. He send me outside to put a code into the lock on truck.. must not know his trucks but I came back in. There was no combo but a key lock. This gentleman could not complete my check in process, again getting pushed aside every time a customer came in. I again called uhaul customer service. Everything was green on their side but again I couldn't get a truck at this location. Regardless everything was green, the store clerk had the keys, and I had put my reservation and credit card info a week prior. I was embarrassed at this gas station. I was literally in tears. The whole moving process is overwhelming as is, but a single mom already struggling and on a time restraint. It was ridiculous. No apologies, except for the woman on the phone. But I was offered no discount or anything due to my trouble or having to go to 2 further locations. Sorry uhaul, but I think you have lost a customer.

louis fIt was hard to hear through the thick plexiglass when trying to communicate about picking up the truck. I had to go and figure out for myself which truck was the right one. It only had 1/4 tank of gas, forcing me to have to add gas to the truck right away which was a pain and I'm sure was calculated so that I would have to get gas right there, enriching the owners of the station further. I was positive that the truck would break down... it felt rickety and shaky as I was driving it. I also was angry when I got to my storage unit and opened up the back of the truck to find that a large piece of junky furniture was left in the truck from the previous person who rented it... it wasn't checked or cleaned between renters. When I returned the truck and told the person about it, he just smiled and said OK... no apology whatsoever. Also, I had checked off online that I wanted to rent a hand truck when I picked up the truck. Then when I got there, NO HAND TRUCK ... they wanted me to go with the truck to another location to pick up the Hand truck... I said to forget it... what a pain. I will never go back here.

MAHOGANY JI came there at my guaranteed reserved time and was told that they were closed. I then needed to speak through someone who barely spoke English and then on the phone to someone. They did not have my furniture pads and dolly and could not have cared less. I had to run around to different locations to secure them and they were no help. The truck was filthy on the outside and had the gas light on when I picked it up. The location is a gas station for crying out loud!

joe nIt's an actual gas station in the city. Wanted to return truck same day but they close at 11p.m So no drop off service was available. Very nice young lady I spoke with. Easy return and quick

kenny wIt took me hours to get my uhaul. It came with a lock on the back that no one knew was there so no one could help me. Had to drive it back and then finally someone could help, I missed my move in for my apartment. Quite frankly could not have been a worse experience

jean p#1- I reserved a 26' vehicle but the attendant redid the process before I could drive off with the vehicle. Such an unnecessary waste of time #2- Make sure the vehicles is clean #3- I got no return receipt upon vehicle return. Not sure what's with that.

MARK FOne of the biggest improvements this location should make is having employees show up to work in a timely manner. I reserved a truck pick up time for 9:00am and the employee didn't show up to work until 10 something. They should be mindful that the customers time is valuable and they may have to pay movers by the hour etc. The online service states you can use a visa debit card and even lets you put the card information on file but upon check out there are restrictions to which bank the visa debit card is from.
TYNAIZAH WMy reserved location was moved 3x away from 4 miles to 12 miles. This was not only confusing since my reservation was originally for a local place right down the road, but also beyond inconvenient since the Uber ride 3x farther was much more expensive, plus the extra half an hour drive cut into my rental time. That's not even the worst part. When I got the keys to the rental, the truck had not even an 1/8 of tank of gas. Not only that, but despite being at a gas station, there were no clear instructions on what type of fuel to use. I was forced to anxiously drive home for half an hour on the interstate (which I was uncomfortable doing altogether) to look up the fuel required. While trying to return the truck, the website wouldn't let me log in to do such. The page "timed out" right after hitting 'Log In'. I had to make a call and had to trust that the person I spoke to closed the reservation for me. Even after all of this, despite leaving the vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas (twice what I received), I see now a new charge on my card today for $14 for gas. Overall I spent $136 on this rental which was absolutely not worth it. If this were my first experience ever with U-Haul, I would be totally putoff from ever renting with you again. And so would my friends who helped me move. Frankly, I'd like a refund for all of the extra expenses this unnecessarily long, tedious, and frustrating process cost me in both time and money.
Matthew BTruck was missing anti freeze cap which made truck overheat had to pull over on the side of the highway with a house full in the cargo then I drive to auto zone to get anti freeze and was never reimbursed also the number they have on file goes to voicemail every time

anita tThe store indicated that it would be open at 7am I scheduled my uhual pick up for 7:30am. No one was at the store and didn't arrive until 8:55am. The truck bed was dirty and the inside of the cabin had trash as well. When trying to contact uhual I was constantly being transferred and put on 15+ minute holds before being sent to an answering machine. Overall this was a terrible experience and cost me more money during my move.
