Make sure the return time is correct when you are filling out the rental info. I asked for 4 hours and got sent away with a return time only 2.5 hours after I picked the truck up. A phone call did remedy this issue which I am grateful for.SAMUELHERBERT L.

I am not sure if I would recommend this. When I reserved this online the price was 22.95 but when my husband picked up the trailer the contract was double that. I don't know why the price was almost double but it is quite disappointing.MICHAEL JOSEPH G.
I had booked for the location closer to me so that I would use less miles, the same day of my reservation I record a voicemail saying that location was not available so I had to go to a vacation way across town resulting in double the mileage that I planned for meaning I had to pay more money than I originally planned as well.ALYSIA JAMIE J.

If you have an appointment and somebody else does not they should have to wait until your appointment is over. I had an appointment and people waiting for me to help me move and was late due to a couple without an appt came in the same time I did and took at least 20 min to ask questions and never even rented the uhual. My movers ended up leaving and I had to pay more movers to help me and had already paid the first set of movers and lost my money because I was lateJESSICALEE H.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The website wasn't working at all, but they opened up late and processed my turn after hours in person. They also opened up 15 minutes eat as well. Large variety of hauling solutions onsite, all clean and well-maintained. I will definitely use them again should the need arise.ERIC ANDREW D.

This location is a poor representation of Uhaul. When we arrived to pickup our truck, the office was closed and the two phone numbers were not answered. We also could not leave a message as the voice mail was full. There was no way to contact them. Another couple was also waiting to pickup and another dropped off a truck. The other couple waiting had an 8:00 a.m. appointment, and the man finally opened the door at 8:25. We then had to wait another five to ten minutes for the woman to come and get us set in the computer system. It was a mistake to pickup at an "early" time. I was over charger and I request a furniture dolly and it wasn't on the truck. I rented a small truck supposed to have been for $19 and some odd change. Not a van. My total was $77 and some change I was charged $102 and some change change. I was only given 4 hours and usually you get to keep it for at 1 whole day for that price. Office appears to be a residential dwelling. Customer must access by a second story exterior wooden staircase, treacherous in winter conditions. Clerk must be paged by doorbell-- took numerous attempts upon initial arrival and return. Clerk asked me to send a text message from the parking lot to her office, acknowledging vehicle condition at time of rental. Big nuisance and waste of my time. Rental clerk should be more helpful in this regard.Philip S.

Small one woman office with a older lady that is very slow. Her office was very cold as she had on a hat and coat. It is hard to understand as she speaks with an accent. The guy that brought me the truck was very nice and he explained in detail what was expected.Mary P.

I don't want to have my review mistaken for the branch that did help me because they did get me the truck I needed but the original branch at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Kalamazoo,1004 Portage Kalamazoo, MI 49001 completely screwed me and I am 100% dissatisfied with my experience. I showed up at 9am for my reservation and my wife dropped me off. We were moving our entire house that day with freezing rain in the forecast for later that day. The store where my reservation was for did not have my truck and did not apologize. They basically told me I had to pick it up from another location. I explained to the representative that I had called to confirm the reservation two days prior and she had the audacity to say they would have had my truck ready had I showed up on the day I called to confirm. My wife did not have her phone with her and I had to wait until she came got back to our home to have her come back and get me to then take me to another location to get the truck. I had people waiting at my home to help as well and all this running around put us back a couple hours which led to us having to move during freezing rain. We would have been done had the truck been ready when reserved before the bad weather hit. I feel like a phone call from your company is in order and some compensation should be in store, I honesty have not been that upset in a long time. The location was good and the in-person customer service was good. My problem was with the online check-in system - which is absolutely terrible! It took me 30 minutes to try to get the truck before I called the number and thankfully someone was at the location on Sunday. You really need to let customers know in advance everything they will need to provide when checking in. I did not have my passport with me and I did not know the lease agreement number (not on my confirmation page) so I tried to add alternate contacts. I can't believe that you actually call the alternate contacts. Nobody answers their phone anymore! I don't need to tell you that! The online help chat was also worthless and they ended my chat by saying to chat back when I have the paperwork ready to pick up the truck. So they did the equivalent of hanging up on me without providing any help. As you know, moving is stressful enough! You really need to revamp your online check-in experience. Customers should be able to provide everything in advance (photos of drivers license, etc.) so that pick up is a simple process. The only saving grace was that someone was onsite on a Sunday. But I was hoping to be able to do the check-in online to follow Covid safety measures. This experience has made not want to rent from U-haul again. Please change your online check-in system. In the very least, please try to use it yourself and you will understand why I was so frustrated. I also object to the fact that this survey seems to be solely based on the location and not the company! It shows that corporate thinks it is perfect and any problem that a customer has must be with the location. Unbelievable!Alisa C.

The computer used and signature device was sadly rickety. The office was dingy but the service was friendly and competent and quick. The vehicle was in great shape and virtually all of the scratches and dents were correctly noted with X stickers on the vehicle. Gracias.John B.
