I got there, key was not in lock box. I waited for several minutes trying to get ahold of u-haul (they had already charged my card), no answer. Finally a worker from the location walked out with the key and said oh my bad I forgot to put it in the lock box. Luckily the store was about to open and he was there. I would like to see a more secure key drop. It seemed like anyone could open the box and drive away with a truck. Maybe it's just me: I had a rental car stolen several years ago when the hotel clerk offered to keep the keys behind the desk until the real agent showed up.john S.

Location was fine, but u hauls service was absolutely horrible. The app failed me and cost me 30 minutes of waiting on hold to be able to return the vehicle. Funny how the app works fine to pick up the vehicle but does not work to return it. Then upon returning it I was hit with many hidden fees. When I rent a truck for 2 hours from HomeDepot or Lowes it actually costs the 20bucks that they advertise. No hidden fees. Why would anyone ever rent from UHaul who lies about the actual cost of rental. Won't be using service again. Customer service was awful. App was awful. Price was awful. Truck was clean and well maintained tho.Ryan C.

The owner of Lou's was great - we got a brand new van with only 750 miles on it to use! He made sure the equipment we rented for the trip was placed in the van and that the van was cleaned out from the prior rentals.angelo C.

I was charged for equipment that wasn't in the truck the gaslight was on. And when I returned the truck they said don't block the exits but there was no were to park my truck because my spot was now taken and the lot was extremely small. Also the box to return my key was broke so it wouldn't lock !Gabrielle M.

The online 24/7 function with the app is completely unusable. I tried to pick up the truck after 6PM and was unable to log in. Then, called 1-800 number and was on hold for 25 minutes before giving up and just renting the truck the next day. But the price and service were a very good value, despite the problems.PAUL I.

When I arrived the Uhaul was full of snow and ice.it took me to ask for an ice scraper and 25 minutes to clear it.. Then top was still dangerous to vehicles behind me.Shannon F.

Leak in roof. Explained in in second comments. Pickup location I don't think would have known about this as it was dry at the time. Otherwise the trailer was clean and well maintained.brendan B.

I would not refer this location to any potential customers of Uhaul. The service was poor(no sense of urgency to assist after watching a customer walk up to the office, the representative also decided to smoke in a close quarters area where customers are supposed to be able to order/pickup/dropoff their reservation), equipment advertised on the website was not available AFTER being given a quote for said location(was told the appliance dolley was used for another move hours before I ever made the reservation). The truck was filthy(inside cab covered with bugs), and overall just a lack of customer service or care for their satisfaction in any shape or form. One positive is the matress covers were in abundance in the truck so that's a plus.MICHAEL B.

When booking I booked a location closer to my home. Apparently Uhaul can just change location which is fine except it tacked on an additional 17 miles I had to pay for that wasn't expected. Which normally isn't an issue but when your paying per mile it starts adding up.AMANDA S.

Lou's and UHaul were both absolutely awesome for my most recent van rental. Very easy, quick and hassle-free no notice check-in At Lou's. Van was nice/clean, new and easy to drive. I had to extend the timeframe twice over a long holiday weekend and this was basically effortless for me. One phone call each time. Kudos to both Lou & U !!Gerald M.
Make the check in process more clear beforehand. The after-hours pick up instructions were not made clear, I was never told that I had a one hour window to pick up my vehicle. I got to the location a little over an hour after my pick up time, and it would not let me pick the vehicle up. I then tried to call Uhaul customer service and it took over an hour on hold to speak with someone, who then changed my pickup time for me, allowing me to finally get the vehicle.george D.

The truck was a horrible. The rubber flooring was bubbled and my boot kept getting caught every time I went to break. The front end shook like an earthquake. By the end of the trip the brakes were grinding and squeaking. I would recommend Lou's but not the truck.CONCILIO C.
I called when I got there for my rental and was told to download an app and fill out the necessities and wait to be approved,while on the phone with the female my app kept timing out pending approval and I would have to do a lot of things over again,so I'd ask her questions and she would always start off rudely saying â€œAs I already stated â€œ,then I don't appreciate being told I have to bring back my uhaul on full when I got it on 3 quarters of a tank. It took forever for my pending approval to go through to get the lock code to the keys. I will never come here or recommend U-Haul to anyone.shanetta M.

The truck was old, dented, scratched and extremely dirty in front and back cabs upon pickup. I also found a knife in the back of the cab stuck within the side of the moms attic.Susan B.

I got switched to a location 10 miles away, opposite direction of where I was moving, then had to return the vehicle. Wasted over $50. Never using U-Haul again. Had nothing to do with Lous auto shop. The truck does need some mechanical TLC. Tranny doesn't shift cleanly at all.Charles W.

We used the online to reserve our rental van. It was really easy. The van was ready for us when we arrived. Lou couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We were set up and ready to go in 15 minutes. The van was virtually new and ran beautifully. Great experience. Would highly recommend using U-Haul and Lou's Garage for pickup.Lorraine E.

The area you could improve is inform the customer that the 24/7 has multiple steps on the internet that needs to be done before getting the uhaul rental. Also, I received a text message and an email of two different pick up locations. Clear communication would help this process tremendously. It took me over an hour to finally get the uhaul and two phone calls to customer service which I will waited on hold majority of the time. Needless to say the process could be better explained.Andrew B.

Nothing at all! My van was immaculate, Angelo was so helpful, showed me all the controls and in and outs of the rental, asked if I had any questions, and told me to call him if I had any problems...A PROFFESIONAL GENTLEMAN!!! Made sure my care was parked in a safe place!! I could not have asked for anything better. He even had time to change my oil in my car, while I was using my rental!! I needed an oil change anyway, he accommodated me. I was recommended to him by a friend, I WILL ONLY USE HIM FOR MY UHAUL NEEDS!!!! I would HIGHLY suggest if you need a UHAUL rental, Lou's Auto Repair Black horse pike, Blackwood NJPETE S.
