This location just needs to make sure that they enter information into the system when they're called on the phone. I called to extend my rental and extra day but then received a call from the location where we were returning the truck wondering where the truck was. We had to explain that we had called the renting location but apparently they had failed to enter the information in the system.
SCOTT PAttendant at location was excellent. Went to location on SR 60 first. Not very helpful. Didn't know that the entire process must be done online. This is NOT convenient for all people to navigate but the attendant at the renting location was great and walked me through the entire process. The people at the first location weren't helpful, they just told me I had to have a reservation. They did tell me where the nearest location with a truck that would meet my needs was, once I prompted them to.
WILLARD C1. Truck was dirty when we got it 2. Tank was below a 1/4 full 3. Had a ton of issues with the reserves drop off location and it getting changed on me 4. When we returned the truck, we were charged $5 on top of what we already paid despite all the problems we had already encountered… we return the truck with WAY MORE gas then we got it, we went 5 miles over the allotted mileage I guess and were charged for it even though the drop off location was way out of our way. So needless to say, our renting experience was absolutely atrocious and we will be using enterprise or some other business next time. Do better.
Melissa BIt was a very easy process. The only issue was that I was charged for a Dolly, which i did not receive. I asked for one but was told that they don't have any. In addition I was charged for 2 packs of blankets but only had one. Besides that it was a very simple transactions, but I would like to have my $10.00 back.

Felix ROverall experience with this move was terrible. My pickup location was changed pretty much last minute, then I had to call to get something a little closer. The truck's transmission wasn't good and had absolutely no pickup, even when the truck was empty. It wasn't changing gears like it should have been. I put the same amount of gas in it that was in it when I picked it up and was still charged a fee for fuel.
deanna tWe reserved a truck in Tampa to move to Brandon at 0630. We were notified the day before no truck was available in Tampa. We were given the Lithia location instead at 0630. I went to download the app that evening and my reservation had been changed to 0800. To pick up in Brandon. We had 6 people waiting to move us in Tampa at 0730. I called customer service and was transferred endless times. Nobody could or would help. In the end I was left on hold for 54 minutes. The Lithia location was very nice. He apologized because he had received the reservation late and did not see it. I originally reserved the truck weeks ago. The customer service I received was horrible.
Jill II was sent to this location as a back up. I showed up a couple minutes for my reservation time and the "boss" was not there to assist me at 8:30. He had to be called by an associate to come by to give me my rental. Then didn't have all the furniture dollys I needed because the inventory was not matching whay he actually had. I was being charged for extra things than what was quoted to me by uhaul. A supervisor had to be called to adjust it. The whole process took 25-30 minutes on top of not being there on time. My recommendation would be to have everything together and make sure your inventory is completely correct before renting out to people. Some people are on a tight schedule and don't have time to waste for someone not to have what they need or show up on time.
Brittany WI pick this location due to proximity from my home. My son drove the truck home, because I needed to stay in Georgia a few days. Upon arriving he did as I instructed, park truck, inspect and loaded the Dolly in back of the truck, then go in and turn the truck in to the employee. He showed the employee where the truck was located and the the dolly was in the back. The man took the keys and said thank you, to which my son replied aren't you going to inspect the truck and verify the dolly? He then replied no, then my son ask for some type of receipt to show he returned the truck (a day early) to which he was informed that they don't give receipts. Upon asking a few more times was he sure he didn't want to inspect/verify the truck, he said no. So my son left without any proof of vehicle being turned in. At that point and time, I was left liable for anything that happened to the truck/dolly until the next day when checked in at 8:30 AM, because I had no proof that we had turned in the truck. It is a very poor run business that leaves their customers in this position. Will I use u-haul again, I, not sure, but I do know if I do, it won't be from this location.. I would like like to give a shout out to Crystal at the 1-800 Florida Customer Service Center who was polite, understanding and helpful in my predicament. Although the truck didn't checked in as soon as she said, I'm sure it wasn't because her end of things. James Nelson 813-476-4907
JAMES NBe ready to honor reservations instead of being quick to dismiss customers reservations and needs under "not my problem". Also don't ask customers what they want the truck for, tell them to bring back the truck before the contracted time knowing there's a drop box or inflate milage especially when customers have been courteous, responsible, and timely.
Yatznira RI was charged for an extra two days AFTER the rental was returned. I have proof of the return. The location didn't check the truck back in as returned and I haven't gotten a response as to why from the location. Nor have I received a resolution from U-Haul regarding the situation. Have to call U-Haul customer service for a THIRD time to try and figure out what is going on. Extremely frustrated and angry I am being charged double what it was supposed to be due to others negligence and lack of doing their job appropriately.

Anne PWhen I got there I had to wait the clerk didn’t know I had a reservation the truck had no wraps to hold anything down the dolly was all over the place banging while driving the return was difficult the miles I was charged wasn’t right so it made the charge more I was also charged a 15 fee that I never added to my reservation
Christina OThe truck was so bad, smelled a cigarette too much. The customer service was so rude. The gas was jus mediums and they charged me for 30 Milles and Just used to 13 Miles (I have the picture before and after)

COLLIN MThey were rude, unprofessional, they talked a lot of “ trash” about how much they hated working with Uhaul, the dolly that I rented was In terrible conditions, nothing else but a terrible experience, they don’t deserve to have you as a business partner, that place is very unprofessional.
Hernan PThis location is rude. I had to stand in a convent store and give my personal information over a phone to a processing person . Anyone standing near me me got my card number and all details restated to it. This should be done in house at the register not over a phone call in a public place. It is not convenient for a convenient store . I should be able to charge and slide my card not announce it .
Sandra PEnsure that you have employees who care about the safety of your customers. I was driving cross country and was given a truck with a bad battery and headlights that did not work. Unfortunately, I didn't know this until I was 365 miles into my trip with a vehicle that wouldn't start. I've received nothing but the run around when trying to reach the area field manager, John Palmisano. He closed my customer action file because I had not returned the truck. However, my contract allowed me to be in possession of the truck for another day. Besides if you have a customer who is in possession of a piece of equipment that has/had issues, wouldn't you call them back before they have to return it????

ZHI JThere is no one in the store that understands the rental process, and that person was not physically available. The store clerk had to call him via phone to guide him through the rental process.

Ali Wdrive from hell...truck had zero suspension...felt like a disney ride for 7 hours..bad brakes...sloppy stering...druck needs an overhaul..
Robert PThe person at Lithia Food Mart indicated that he had nothing to do with the truck return, just leave the key in the drop off box. I asked if someone was going to inspect the truck to verify that I filled the gas tank and safe return of the vehicle. He again stated he had nothing to do with this process. Unbelievable. I tried to contact John Palmisano but the call got transferred to the main customer service line. Your fees are fair, employees need to be retrained or instructed to work in a different job where customer contact does not exist.

Sandra SI waited 2 hours after my requested time for pickup, because service representative was not at pick up location. According the gas station attendant, he left to attend a dental appointment. I waited 2 hours for rep to call me at that location to issue me the vehicle. I returned the vehicle in one day, and was charged for 2 days. I will use or recommend that location again. The worst customer service and professionalism I've ever experienced with uhaul.

William MI didn't get the truck until an hour and a half after my appointment pick up time. The previous renter didn't bring it back on time, while not the stores fault, they could have called and told me that before I showed up not to have a truck available.
KIP KMy receipt says incorrect return time. I returned it at about 1030am, not 12pm. This was because my drop off location was changed without an email to let me know. So I was late dropping it off.

Nguyen SThe 26ft truck rent had three service lights on, check engine, low radiator fluid, and oil change due and had several damaged areas as well as a leaking roof. It drive and operate as needed to complete the move.
