Well, my reservation was for 9am and the place didn't open until 11am. Called Uhaul, customer service was rude and only other available trailer "close by" was still 45mins away. So after being hooked up and sitting for 2 hours, I finally got out of there very unsatisfied.
Matthew MI had the truck reserved to pick up Saturday 30-Dec @ 9am. Upon arrival the place was locked. I called numerous times without an answer. I called the U-Haul 800 number. The rep could not get in touch with the facility. Eventually they opened over an hour late, thus my move was delayed by almost 2 hours. There is no way to get the keys for the vehicle at this location when it is not opened
Douglas SThe location where I picked up and dropped off the truck was not open on Sunday morning when I scheduled to drop it off. No problem, there was a key box outside. However they advertise that the location is opened on Sunday.

Donald NThe worst experience that I ever had with doing business with Uhaul. I spoke with over 12 associates to get my concerns heard but to no avail. I received piss poor customer services. Associates were knowledgeable about any of the processes. Over charged me for a truck that I made reservations in advance. Truck was empty and filty with empty boxes from the front to the back of the truck. Truck had rocks and gravel in it. The cashier @ Shell was rude and unprofessional behavior during this transaction. I received a call two days before my move from Uhaul stating that my pick up was at another location. 23 additional miles. I asked for a 1 way reservation. The area manager David had me coming back to another location. I was advised by Liz customer representative that my mileage would be adjusted from 144 to 167. On today Bond Logistic charges me additional 80.57 stating I went over the mileage. Unprofessional, Unorganized and not knowledgeable individuals working for a company of this magnitude. Wow!!!!
Meshandra BWhen I arrived, the woman there did not know how to process a u-haul transaction. I had to wait for over an hour for someone to come who could do the paperwork. I was told they didn't have anyone to hook it up and had to contact a friend to do it for me. This is the first bad experience I have had with U-Haul. They are not good representatives for you. This was a convenience store and gas station and dealt mostly with selling lottery tickets. It was not clean at all. I do not get upset easily, but this took time I didn't have and caused frustration I didn't need. I was very disappointed.

This is the reason why I do not like renting from dealers because the unfair treatment of African Americans The credit department is horrible and Customer service through U-Haul is horrible. The customer is never correct or right,! But when it comes to my money, Iam going to be right. U-Haul fix your customer service- please. Professionalism is important, don’t talk to me like Iam unlearned and I don’t understand- learn to understand what Iam saying.

STANLEY RBe sure to inspect the truck before leaving. Upon starting the vehicle, the engine light was on and the entire truck was jumping and sputtering. We immediately turned the truck off and informed the store clerk. He assured us that he was aware of the issue and it was fine to drive. We had the truck for less than 3 hours and the brake lights came on after the truck almost failed to stop. We carefully used back roads to return the truck as we weren't far from this location. The vehicle was in desperate need of repairs and should have never been allowed on the road.
DARIEN STruck smelled like a homeless person. Check engine light kept flashing, was worried I wouldn't make my destination. Had nothing to do with my location, but uhaul un general was terrible. Customer service awful. Moved my pickup spot 2 times. Couldn't pick up 24/7. Didn't have the dolled and moving pads. The woman I dealt with at the location was nice though. But uhaul as a company was terrible.
Jonathan RWe took pictures of the mileage before and after the pickup and drop off. The gentlemen behind the counter refused to give us a receipt and said it came by email only same as pickup. When we left and after a couple of hours we received our receipt and it showed improper starting mileage. We where then charged an additional 90 dollars for mileage we didn’t accrue.
RONALD HU-Haul cancelled the reservation at the place I requested, had to drive 20 minutes away to this gas station only to be told the rental size I wanted was unavailable and that I had to bring the truck all the way back to this location (also not what I requested). The truck smelled like smoke, and the check engine light was on the whole time.

Davieon HReceived a phone call the day before our scheduled pick up at the U-Haul regular store to tell us it had moved to a gas station for pickup. Showed up on time at 8:00 am. After an hour and a half, with us being the ONLY people there-the Clerk finally released the truck. He said they were waiting on a checklist from U-Haul and they had not sent it. Then a half dozen other problems. We missed our pick up of furniture we had purchased on Marketplace and it was sold to the next person. We paid $12 bucks to rent a dollie and we’re told you were “all out” we asked if we could drive to another location to pick one up and we’re told there were not any. No refund either even though we were told it would be removed. The truck was dead on empty and barely made it to gas pump. I was injured moving the fridge because of no dollie. Dark purple bruises all over my arms. I look like a heroin junkie. This experience was an absolute nightmare. I will never use UHaul again. I will never recommend you to anyone. Save yourself time trouble money and frustration and just call a regular moving service. Since when did you start using run down gas stations for pick up and drop offs? So weird.
Jeffrey PReservations are never correct with uhaul. Website says available but the location did not have trailer or blankets. This happened last three rentals. If I reserve blankets then blanketed should be there. An email stating such would be considerate rather than getting there and told no blankets

Philip MIf your going to charge for having less fuel when returned, the company needs to to reimburse the customer for any extra gas.ir only seems like the right thing to do.
Benita SA customer went in and ordered a Uhaul. Apparently had my old number and instead of updating the profile for the new customer, they rented in my name. I received the email info in Texas. The rental was done in Georgia. I called the main Uhaul number and the phone rep was rude. I did speak to a rep at the store in Georgia and it was supposedly resolved. People need to check these contracts to make sure the info is correct at all times.
blake lIt took us over an hour to add insurance to our rental, and it seemed the personnel had no idea what they were doing. They also had us remove the trailer that we had not ordered from the truck.

Benjamine MThe online rental pickup/ checkout process was very convoluted and confusing to begin with, and it was exacerbated by the fact that this location was a lockbox pickup only with no one to help. What would have been a simple process took over an hour.

Doreen KLocation was a a gas station but the staff was friendly and the process of picking the vehicle up and returning the vehicle was simple. Had a minor issue shortly after picking the truck up, the staff resolved it right away.
Ashley KThis gas station is old and falling apart. Outside just looks old and dirty. Looks very dark and spooky at night and doesn’t feel safe.

LINDA PInflated costs, was charged a total of $153 for 5 hours. $42.27 was taken after I returned the van. The cost per mile was higher than what i was told. When i went back the next day to dispute the cost and that money was taken from my card WITHOUT my consent, the oerson on phone was rude, the person in store just shrugged. Appalling experience, will NEVER again use U-haul nor recommend this location. VERY DISSATISFIED.
GURJIT BPickup location was a gas station with sex "enhancement" pills, porn videos, and magazines. He was having trouble with his computer and I has to call U-Haul customer service to get them to help. Thank god I picked up the truck and not my wife! I'm sure I'll not hear from anyone at U-Haul.
