Overall a good experience but I had to ask the gas station attendant for help getting the keys. Key was in the drop off lockbox and not in one of the separate lock boxes. If I was a woman I may feel a little uncomfortable about the location as several homeless/street people hanging around/in convenience store.

I had to go talk to the man in the gas station he was rude asf but I called the number to the man who’s over the U Haul and he was nothing short of Amazing like he was nice he had a great attitude it was just the guy in the gas station his name was Ravi he was Racially profiling me and my brother

The process of checking in is a bit hard. They did not have the extra stuff that we asked for or originally booked for. If we went through the app it's a bit easier with the whole check in through that.

Pickup was a disaster! Site was useless, and UHaul had set the rental for counter pickup, and site only supported online, and ordered pads were not there. Between pickup and getting the pads it took almost three hours! Rediculous!

According to the Uhaul 1-800 number there was an error made in the key code data by the local operator in setting up the job. Clerk at the store was unable to help with rental checkout in any way, deferring to the 800 number or truck share online rental process. I am fine with / experienced with the truck share process, but it directed me to the clerk on site to get the keys instead of providing the lockbox number and code. Checkout took well over an hour, and required 3 calls to U-Haul to complete. This was in addition to having equipment for another guaranteed reservation the day before be unavailable when we tried to pick it up (Reservation Reference number: 79874095)

They sent me an email with an address where it was not, when I got to the other place the truck did not have a dolly, I go to another U-hual and they did not want to rent me a dolly, they send me to another, the process of looking for the truck and renting a dolly more than an hour, I WILL NEVER RENT AGAIN

I talked to the worker and scheduled a pickup for the next day in Lewisville tx which is 9 hours from my home… I was quote $628 on the phone when I arrive to pick it up the following day The guy working the counter knew nothing and gave me his managers number to call which he would not answer… I proceeded to stay on and off the phone trying to get the code for the pickup and the system kept saying I had no reservation online but when I would talk to someone on the phone they could see the reservation… Finally after a hour of sitting there a lady on the phone finally got it working for me and said the bill was $900 and something and when I told her that I wasn’t correct she said we will have to put you on hold again which I didn’t want to do… So long story short it was a horrible experience and they overcharged me $300

It was a easy location to drop off the U-Haul and easy check-in, due to the app. I'm glad that we have rented U-Haul's in the past and we know what we were doing because the guy inside the Shell station was of no help and said he didn't even know. What a U-Haul was

I would recommend the location, but not U-Haul. Arrived the truck back at 4:30. I had a horrible experience trying to check the truck back in on line. I spent an hour, trying to make it work. ONE HOUR! The software would not recognize that I was returning my rental truck to the same location. Tried three times. I called the help line. 16 minute wait before you receive call back. They call, and I get disconnected. I call again. 16 minute wait. I hang up, and I tried to do the on-line chat. Somebody will be with you in less then 1 minute. After 5 minutes, I get "Your chat has ended!" REALLY!!!! I try the chat a second time. Finally contact somebody. I am told that location will not take "Late Check-in", though its now only 5:20. This is a parking lot next to a Shell gas station. There is nobody there to check you out or in. The guy on the chat wants me drive the truck home, and return tomorrow at 1:00. If I had not gone into the Shell station in the lot, and secured the phone number of the local person ( who was GREAT) and had me checked in 30 seconds after I called him, I would STILL be there. Horrible. Another person from U-Haul called me on the way home. I told her I would never use U-Haul again. She was very nice, and tried to explain the issues going on. And then I waited another 10 minutes, because she was going to text me a "VIP" something, because I had such a rough time. The last words she said was, "Okay, I'm texting this to you right now! Thank you!" Nothing was ever received. Failed at almost every contact with the customer. If you use this location, go inside the Shell station in front and ask for the number of the local contact. I can't blame them locally for what U-Haul did online. The local guy was great.

Poor reception led to not being able to check in truck on initial checkin. Mulitple attempts had to be made and wasted a significant amount of time. Directions could also be improved. Photos of location should be improved.

It took me over 30 min to check in with the online process, I ended up having to call and get help. The truck had coffee on the floor which was sticky and got all over my son's diaper bag. There was barely and gas in it. Other than that it was great

The person behind the counter had no idea what was going on. He was rude to me and told me he did not have the managers number she couldn't help me. When my boyfriend went in the shop for answers he basically found the managers number. He just didn't want to help me.

This is a busy gas station that is challenging to drive into given the corner that it's on. Also, the attendant on duty simply took my key and told me that was all I needed to do. As it turns out that was not the case. I spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting to talk to someone at u-haul and then spent another 30 minutes trying to get the truck checked in properly.

I like Uhaul and will always rent from Uhaul, but do not choose this as your drop off location. 00000 stars!!!!!  After a long two day road trip towing my car behind a large heavy Uhaul truck and many hundreds of dollars spent, I arrived at this place.  I was having trouble uploading my drop off pictures in the app.  After I got that working, some guy comes out to tell me that I could not leave the trailer at this location.  The Uhaul app and the person I talked to on the help line said I was in the right place.  There were other Uhaul  trucks on the lot. This person kept insisting that I was in the wrong place even after I told him that the app located me in the correct drop off location by GPS and showing him that my paperwork showed this addrss.  After going inside and returning, this person began to harass me verbally and things got a little scary when he threatened to call the police if I insisted on leaving my trailer there.  This happened about six months ago.  I just remembered that I never warned other people to stay away from this place.  I like Uhaul, but this location is not a good  place.  Do not pick this unsavory place for your drop off.

Selected a nice U-Haul branch with easy access to location. Instead, had to take a taxi to a random gas station right off of a busy intersection and freeway all the way across town. As someone who was nervous about adjusting to driving the truck, this was a rude awakening. I was told it was due to staffing shortages/truck shortages. I ended up going to the location to pick up a lock for the truck and there were four associates just standing around and a parking lot of available trucks. I paid more for the U-Haul against the competitors for the ease of access, specifically for the chosen location. I would not have chosen them if I knew where I would end up picking up the truck. I also was not a fan of having to use my phone to pick up the truck, my phone barely worked and I was standing on the side of this gas station trying to figure out the location services wasn't working on my phone. It would have been a much more pleasant experience had I been able to pick up the truck at the desired location and not had to stand off the side of a busy intersection at a gas station trying to figure this out.

My original reservation was for 811 E State Hwy 121 Business, but an agent called & asked to change to this location. I said yes, unaware that this was an unmanned location. This forced us to use our cell phone data, while standing out in the heat, to do the check-in, scan our IDs, etc. I was very frustrated, (as was the car full of people we had waiting through all this). However, Kyle was VERY helpful & did his best to make up for the situation. I give him kudos for excellent customer service, but would highly recommend the main admin do their due-diligence next time when changing a reservation.

When I reserved online, it required me to get the key from the "agent" but this location does not have an agent. They have the lock boxes & uhaul didn't even give me this option. I had to call uhaul and they couldn't provide the code because she didn't have it. The guy working the store didn't know anything. We waited over 30 minutes until someone could get in touch with the general manager who was finally able to help. We lost that time because it started the rental way before we ever had access to it. It was the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul.

We ordered and paid for 10 moving quilts that we did not get and the Shell station didnt have them or know anything about them. He was very rude. The self check out to get the truck wasnt bad but when we returned the truck it took us 45 minutes because the system kept timing out & we had to start over. That is a huge waste of time. We use self check in/out on most things and never experience this issue. There was no one to call or chat with for assistance. If your system is that slow then you need to be able to at least chat with someone. I worked with technology for 30+ years - I can't imagine someone who may not be as comfortable with self check in/out being able to complete your process. With so many reviews claiming slow processing inside a UHaul location due to being under staffed the company needs to focus on the self check in process. I am looking for a place to request my $10 refund for the missing moving pads. Please advise how I can do that.

The Uhaul app did not accept my picture of the odometer to verify the mileage. I tried 10 times then just called the Uhaul rep who took are of it.

when I arrived, neither employee knew how to handle a Uhaul customer. After a 15 minute delay, they were able to get the owner on the phone and he registered me. This was especially frustrating because I flew into Dallas and had taken an Uber to the gas station and was standing there at the exact time of my reservation with a suitcase and no car. I will never rent from U-haul again. The hand trucks, furniture blankets and furniture dolly I had ordered were not in the truck nor available. I will never rent from U-haul again.
