The process was easy. I reserved a trailer, showed up at the arranged time, did the paper work, backed up my truck as guided. A technician hooked it up checked the lights and I was on my way. The trailer pulled fine, I got 18 MPG while towing, loaded, 2400 miles. Easy to drop off.

The person I dealt with at this location was not very friendly or helpful. I felt like I was bothering both during pickup and drop off. Unfortunately I was referred to this location by the UHaul Dealer at Indian School and Eubank because they no longer carry The 10 foot truck. I won't use this location in the future.

Inform the customer that you can only use a credit card. I also returned the rental a day early & I was not advised to go to uhaul. Com & check the rental in. Then I had to call the regional uhaul office to ensure that I was refunded the extra day charge after talking to three different uhaul representatives & the guy at Leonard tire. Crystal was the manager at the regional office & I can only wish that I spoke with her in the first place. She was pleasant & professional & it's because of her I will rent from uhaul in the future.

The app failed on both pickup and delivery. It went through the entire process both times and failed to finish. It had me take several photos both times but when i went to finish it had a problem with the server. Luckily there was someone there at pickup. I returned the truck the same day at about 4:00pm and there was no one there to help. I called the numbers listed but they were useless. The people at the location were great but the app or server was useless.

I went online to request a 15ft truck and furniture dolly. Low and behold, no furniture dolly was provided. Online check in was marginal at best. I would not recommend on line check in. Why did I have to provide 2 alternate contacts? They wanted too many pictures!

Not easy to do online and shouldn't of had to. I was told that I could pick it up at one time and that was not accurate information. Not pleased today. It's already stressful to move and then to have problems getting the uhaul just made for a bad start.

I used my phone to reserve, but was unaware of the exceedingly long 'verification' process that could have been started long before I went to pick up the truck. Why are those questions not asked with all the other reservation questions? I had to stand outside for twenty minutes while my agent told me my alternate contact had not answered, despite her answering three separate calls (and getting hung up on) while standing next to me. I wasn't aware I may need a copy of my new lease or my passport to pick up the truck-- I thought that's what all the questions were for when I made the reservation. I recommend streamlining that process or at least adding the long verification step to the instructions on how to pick up your truck.

The remote pick up app was running slow the day I was picking up but it worked. I like this new process. The guys at Leonard Tire are friendly and efficient plus it's a very convenient location.

The gentleman that set me up with the truck was very nice. Everything was ready to go when I arrived. When I returned the truck, it was done online and the process did not work well. The web site didn't work at first. It wanted pictures of the truck, where it was parked, the odometer, and gas gauge. It wouldn't allow for these things to accomplished at first so it took quite awhile before the return process could be completed. It wouldn't accept the pictures at first. We were on hold with uhaul customer service the whole time, and we're never able to get through to talk with someone. Luckily we were able to get it to work and get the truck returned.

Not sure I would recommend 24/7. I was advised to register online, which I did took about 20 min. Then when I went to pick up made me do all over again on phone which took 40 minutes . When I came to return, program wouldn't let check in. Call costumer service and they couldn't help me so just reversed check out which took another 40 minutes. Fortunately the dealer didn't charge me the convenient fee. Something failed somewhere. I am a former computer teacher and can usually figure things out, but not this time.

Vehicle was in good condition but smelled like cigarette smoke. When I reserved the vehicle, I had said no additional coverage on the vehicle as I have very good insurance. Unbeknownst to me when I arrived and checked out the location added the additional coverage without asking me which with taxes and fees doubled my rate. Very frustrated, when I asked the individual to fix it, he replied that he couldn't do anything about it.

I picked up the vehicle in the evening when it was cool. After packing it all night with my team, I and a co-worker planned to head out for 18 hour drive the next morning due to the delivery needing to be completed by the next evening. Our AC would not function when we would drive past 45 mph. For an 18 hour drive, this was very inconvenient. After we made our trip and having to consistently slow down to get AC to flow, we spoke to representative at Uhaul when it was dropped off. We were told that the Uhaul customer service would take care of crediting us back some money for the inconvenience. After speaking to a representative and sending an email, I finally got a call only to find out that there would be no compensation for the travel. We were told that we HAD to call Road Side assistance if we had an issue in order to be compensated. The gentleman at the Uhaul store checked and confirmed our AC issue at drop off. I was on a deadline to make a trip and didnt have time to stop to unload an entire Uhaul on my own, which had commercial grade furniture. I've used Uhaul many times as we own hotels and transport many things. Never have I had this issue and this kind of poor customer service from the manager of the pick up location .

Listen to your customer and realize that you work for them. Total problems with this reservation from the beginning. The employee who made the reservation at the Eubank and Indian School location made false promises that no one could keep. he promised that I would only pay for one day and the location I was picking up from could handle that request because U-Haul did not have the inventory available.

This was the first time I used the 24/7 pickup option and I can honestly say I won't ever use that option again. When I arrived to pick up my truck the lock to get the key out of the back had the wrong code and despite 3 people all trying to open it, it never unlocked. After speaking to customer service they did give me code to try another truck on the lot which I was able to get into. They were able to transfer my order to the new truck but the whole process took about 40 minutes. I had hired movers waiting for me. It was quite a hassle. Then when I went to drop the truck back off the lock wouldn't go back on the truck and after standing in the 90 degree sun trying to get it to lock, customer service told me it was on well enough. It's just way easier to go straight to a U-Haul location where there are actual people on site to help you. It might work fine for most people but for me it was a bad experience.
